• The Future Matters Event was for young people with learning disabilities and their families and carers.
• 70 people, representing 30 families, came to find out about services and other help that is available in Dundee for young adults who need additional support.

advice about welfare rights
and other money matters
One of the highlights of the day was the workshop featuring the Future Matters Drama Group.

An excellent café was provided
by café trainees and support staff from Kemback Street Resource Centre
Good food
An art worker (Sense Scotland) and 8 Barnardo’s volunteers
helped 15 young people be creative

The SAY Group ran a “Money Wall”55 people posted 3 notes each to showwhat they think should be a priority

“All I want is to be treated as an equal – I want to get a row if I sleep in for work”
