A MSc Finance from a Business School like IESEG is really a good opportunity because of

the exposure to the financial services industry which will surely provide me a great

opportunity to apply my acquired theoretical knowledge of finance.

I am currently reading a Master 2 programme in Finance at the Institut Universitaire

d’Abidjan (IUA) , Cote d’Ivoire. My interest in the field of finance was first awakened

as a desire to work in a financial institution.

During the last four years of studies, especially in the bachelor level ,a number of subjects

like business law ,Financial English, Money and Banking, Portfolio Management, Financial

Management, Negotiation just to mention a few deepened my interest.

I decided to apply for a MSc in Finance because I intend to work as a Chief Financial

Officer or Corporate Officer whose is primarily responsible for managing the financial risks

of the corporation.

I chose IESEG for my MSc in Finance for a number of reasons. First, IESEG is one of

the top business school in France with two major international accreditations: European Quality

Improvement System (EQUIS) and Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business

( AACSB). Having a MSc in Finance helps me to gain competitive advantage on the job

market.

As a Master 1 student in Finance , I also had the opportunity to deepen my knowledge

in other specific areas of finance including portfolio management, derivatives, advanced

financial English, financial decision, insurance, econometrics, advanced financial analysis,

capital market to name but a few. The use of data analysis and statistical software like SPAD

enables me to perform many descriptive statistics, factorial analysis, classification and

segmentation. Stata for example is used in data management, statistical analysis, graphics,

simulations and regression analysis (linear and multiple) and EViews for general statistical

analysis and econometric analyses, such as cross-section and panel data analysis and time

series estimation and forecasting.

I am excited to learn about the excellent MSc programmes offered by your institution.

I believe that your MSc in Finance will give me a solid foundation of relevant theory and

quantitative techniques develop my individual capacity and key skills that are sought after by

future employers. Upon completion of my program, I wish to utilize my quantitative skills,

enhance my problem-solving and decision-making skills in this field, and prepare myself

for a career in finance-related job.

As an undergraduate, I am expected to pay for my studies in full, of course. Finding

a scholarship is a great way of securing financing for my studies without having to worry

about repayment. Your Scholarships will help me cover the costs of these fees, making it

easier for me to focus on my studies and not worry so much about loans and repayments. 

In concluding, I would like to express my gratitude to the IESEG’s Admission Committee
