A messAge from Denny TippmAnn, Jr. – senior Vice presiDenT AnD chief Technology officerit’s hard to believe that Tippmann has been in paintball for 25 years, but i’m even more excited now than when our company launched its very first marker back in 1986. Without question, both Tippmann – and the paintball industry – have come a long way over the years.

As you can see from the markers on the opposite page, Tippmann has been behind many exciting innovations since our company’s founding. And, believe me, there are many stories behind each of these products. here are just a few of the industry firsts that we’ve developed over the years:

last year alone saw the introduction of several new markers, including the carver one in our popular U.s. Army line and the Tango one under the international Tpn brand. We also launched the X7 phenom mechanical, updated the A-5 with several new features, and launched the gryphon, a new Tippmann brand focusing on the entry-level player.

in addition to paintball markers, we also expanded our soft goods offering and added many new accessories and mods. And with the acquisition of nXe paintball, a leading soft goods brand, we will now have a full assortment of soft goods to offer our fields and dealers. With the continued success of our paintball laser Tag line and the growth of our U.s. Army paintball and Tpn lines, we are confident we can help grow your business.

As we head into our 25th year in paintball, i am also excited about our new ad campaign that focuses on our excellence in quality, innovation and service with a new logo and the words, “experience. excellence.” i can assure you that this excellence will continue as we aggressively plan to innovate in the paintball category and also develop new programs to help drive more players to your facilities.

2011 BLOWBAcK MARKERS

since its launch back in 2002, the Tippmann A-5 has become one of the most popular scenario markers in the industry featuring the patented cyclone feed system and the ability to field strip in less than 60 seconds. The goal of this new redesign was simply to make this popular marker better while maintaining the overall aesthetic appearance. key changes include a new cyclone feed system, new external selector switch, larger front grip and a new stock barrel. These changes, plus many other modifications, are all designed to enhance the marker’s reliability, accuracy and make it even easier to modify.

PLATINuM SERIESfor over a decade, the 98 custom has earned a reputation built on durability and is considered the most reliable marker in paintball. The platinum series, available with or without A.c.T. (anti-chop technology), takes this marker to a whole new level, allowing you to build your own look or develop your own upgraded version in no time. it will literally take you just seconds to upgrade your speed, accuracy and looks. Add an e-grip, or the flatline barrel, or maybe a stock—it’s fast and easy.

RENTALThe Tippmann 98 rental platinum series marker features a durable finish, permanent laser etched “rental” marking and is easily upgradeable with all of the 98 custom platinum series accessories. The split receiver design makes cleaning and maintenance quick and easy. The 98 rental platinum series is also available with a.c.t. (anti-chop technology) which virtually eliminates ball chopping.

Tippmann reintroduced a paintball legend with a few modern updates, including a redesigned integrated feed neck that fits most current standard hoppers, as well as a redesigned ergonomic grip for enhanced comfort and control. most of the other great features that helped establish the original as a true paintball legend still remain. These features include a smooth stroke design, 11-inch performance aluminum barrel, solid cast aluminum receiver, breech port for easy cleaning, all-metal trigger, external velocity adjuster, built-in sight rail, integrated tank adapter with built-in gasline, and front and rear sling mounts
