The stainless steel Titan Rescue Stretcher is a com-plete re-thinking of the classic Stokes military stylestretchers. The top rail is a full one-inch diameterto make the stretcher easier to handle when car-ried for extended periods. All our Titan series res-cue stretchers incorporate the use of our new“ StratLoad™” attachment points for an easy andsecure attachment of a lifting bridle. The polyethyl-ene netting is rustproof and easy to clean. The

back support is molded High Density Polyethylenefor greater durability and ease of cleaning. Thesteep sided design allows for a narrower overallwidth to the stretcher while allowing the width atthe bed’s surface, to accept a standard 16"tapered, back board. The narrow width androunded ends provide greater maneuverability intight locations. All Titan stretchers come completewith four patient restraint straps.

The Titan Split-Apart Rescue Stretcher design is based ona concept developed and proven by a leading rescueorganization. The stretcher hinges together at the bottom,and then is secured by aluminum anodized integralthreaded collars on the top rail. This design is quick andeasy to assemble or take apart and eliminates the use ofsecuring pins that can be lost or damaged. The TitanSplit-Apart stretchers have all the same features as ourTitan one piece stretchers including our new“ StratLoad™” feature and comes with four 1 3/4"patient-restraints using the simple and effective two-bar,three-bar connection system.

For the ultimate in strength to weight ratio, the newTitan-Ti is out to set a new standard for a rescue litter.Identical in dimensions to our other Titan Series basketstretchers, the Titan-Ti is made of ASTM Grade 2 titani-um tubing, which we then process under the strictestguidelines for titanium manufacturing. The Titan-Ti Split-Tapered weighs in at 15.5 lbs. (7 kg.), and is engi-neered to nest together in the most efficient way possi-

The ADVANTAGE is an improved redesignfrom any other plastic style basket stretcheravailable today. The fully-internal stainless steel frame has a2500 lb. strength rating while giving a com-pletely smooth sliding surface on the bottom.The outer High Density Polyethylene (HDPE)shell is attached to the top tube, allowingthe secondary rail to be completely accessi-ble to provide unlimited options for tying inyour patient during the most technical rescueoperation.

Generous cut-out sections in the shell provideloads of exposed top rail for handling, andthe 7/8" tubing allows for a more comfort-able grip. Built with the same attention to quality as theTitan Series, the Gazelle Series baskets are idealfor industrial rescue organizations. With threestyles to choose from, Regular, Tapered andConfined-Space, there is a model to fit any need.The standard finish is a black powder coat, and itcomes with three, 1 3/4" patient-restraints usingthe simple and effective two-bar, three-bar con-nection system. As with the Titan Series, the

Gazelle basket stretchers utilize black polyethe-lene netting which has excellent weathering char-acteristics. This netting is fastened to the stretcherusing shock-cord, giving it the flexibility it needsfor a long life in rugged conditions, and is easilyreplaced. Bradco Stretcher System

The Bradco Stretcher System, with its heavy-duty alu-minum frame construction, high-density polyethylene shelland patient support and restraint system, makes thisstretcher ideal for any rescue situation. The patient support and restraint system is constructedfrom vinyl-coated nylon and supports the patient severalinches off the bottom frame of the stretcher, which makefor a smooth and comfortable ride. The double flapcover and restraint strap system allows a patient to betransported in almost any position with a minimum of dis-comfort and maximum security.The polyethylene shell resists rust and corrosion, is resist-ant to chemical agents such as chlorine or petroleum,

slides smoothly over various types of terrain and isunlikely to snag on protruding objects. It is unaffected byclimatic temperature extremes and the UV inhibitorsreduce fading or deterioration even under constant expo-sure to sunlight. The shell is easy to clean and also helpsto protect the patient from coming into contact with sharpobjects, rough terrain, snow and ice. The Bradco Stretcher System comes complete with thebasket stretcher, the patient support and restraint system,4 - lifting straps and has a Traverse load capacity ratingof 11 kN (2,500 lbf.). Traverse Rescue StretcherThe Traverse Rescue Stretcher has been designedand constructed for both horizontal and vertical casu-alty evacuations. The lightweight and compact roll-updesign makes this stretcher ideal for high angle andconfined space rescue, as well as backcountry wilder-ness and helicopter operations. The wrap-around con-cept gives the patient a feeling of security and pro-tects arms and sides from further injury during evacu-ation procedures.The stretcher is constructed using an inner layermade from a tough high density polyethylene sheet,which give the stretcher it’s rigidity when curvedaround the patient. The outer fabric shell is madeusing two different materials. The base fabric is a1350 Denier Cordura nylon with a heavy PU coating,which has been specially woven to be as tough aspossible to resist abrasion and cuts. The top layer is1000 Denier Cordura making a tough but comfort-able layer for the patient to lay on. The carry han-

dles and vertical lift attachment points are construct-ed from 2" web and are designed as structuralattachment points for a lifting bridle. The plastic tub-ing on the carry handle makes for a much more com-fortable carry for rescuers. The built-in color-coded full body adjustable harnessrestrains the patient securely in the stretcher so thereis no need to fold over the head and foot end of thestretcher, which can cause discomfort to the patient.Padded straps in the shoulder and groin areas makefor a comfortable fit, while the foot strap stops thepatient from sliding down during vertical lifts. The sixouter 2" web restraint straps further secure thepatient into the stretcher by wrapping the stretcheraround the patient’s body using a two-bar, thee-barsteel buckle system, which is easy and quick to workwith even with gloves on. The stretcher comes with acordura storage bag with backpack shoulder straps.

The Mule Litter Wheel is the only device of its kind that, even with its handles,stores in a space not much bigger than the wheel itself. The wheel slides offits axle and stores inside the framework. With the optional handles, oneswings over the top while the other swings around the bottom and becomeflat to the main frame. This is done in mere seconds!Truly universal, any type of basket stretcher can be placed and securely fas-tened onto the Mule. A backboard can also be secured onto the Mule with-out the use of a basket stretcher. The two ratchet-locking devices ensure thetightest hold, and are very simple to operate.The optional handles are adjustable in height which is critical when negotiat-ing downhill, as well as when people of different heights are operating ittogether. The width of the handles gives tremendous control over the load,

and the ends are urethane-coatedfor additional gripping power in

The fully adjustable litter bridles are intended for use withany style litter. All hardware meets NFPA and military speci-fications. The “O” Ring used for the top tie-in point is rated134 kN (30,000 lbs.). Parachute buckles used on each ofthe four legs allow them to be adjusted independently, sothe stretcher can quickly and easily be set at the best anglefor patient comfort. The Squadra Chain-Brake System has several features thatneed to be seen to be appreciated. There are two differentsystems of engaging and disengaging the chain brake.Our unique ring system with the chain-brake cordattached, runs up and down either handle, enabling thepatroller to either control the brake on-the-fly, or use thetraditional system of pulling up the chain-brake and lockingit off behind the patroller. Squadra Patrol Toboggan

The Squadra Patrol Toboggan is an improved toboggandesign featuring a flat bottom shell. After years of practical experience and input fromdozens of users, we have truly made a break-throughdesign for patrol toboggans. The flat bottom with aslightly raised center gives ultimate speed in any condi-tion, and the Running Fins mounted on the outside wallsof the toboggan ensure that there is no unnecessarydrag placed on the sliding surface. We have further refined our molding process for thecomposite itself. Using Resin Transfer Molds (RTM), weare able to determine the exact resin-to-fiber contentrequired for the different parts of the toboggan, ensur-ing it is as strong as possible, and giving a completely

consistent finish inside and out. The Squadra’s widthhas been increased to 24 inches to allow for moreroom for the patient and gear. The leading edge of the stainless steel Running Fins willnot mushroom out like softer aluminum does, and dueto its strength, a much thinner material, is used to slicethrough the hard-pack with ease. The Running Fins arealso canted outward slightly, giving the down-hill runnera more aggressive stance.
