10
A singular entity and it’s influence on society. The importance that society places on the individual can influence political decisions and may extend to represent the ego. 1
11
12
A constant equilibrium between people within a society. Maintaining conventions based upon mutual agreement. 2
13
14
3 The transference of thoughts, ideas or information by speech, interaction or signage. An exchange or mutual interaction.
15
16
4 The area of land defined by a country’s borders. Habitation exists within these borders.
17
18
5The ease of movement and transportation within and for the country and how this effects efficiency and function.
19
20
6The combination of two entities to create something new, effecting the ever-evolving population and size of the borders within the land.
21
22
7Understanding the people, events and situations of a country. Applying knowledge and experience to solve problems.
23
24
8 Protecting and conserving the country’s land and resources, ensuring sustainability and replacing what is taken.
25
26
9The influence of morality and beliefs on society and how this can effect decisions made by the inhabitants of the country.
27
28
10 The renewal of an existence, activity or growth, in terms of population, land area, or position.
29
30
Translation Into Numbers
31
The 10 points of the manifesto, when placed into a hierachy of importance, can be used to generate a set of 5 co-ordinates.

The original manifesto can be reformed to create a new set of relevance to the country. When reordered, the 10 newly arranged numbers produce five co-ordinates.

The generated manifesto coordinates can be applied to a ten by ten grid and connected to form the physical border.

38
Flag
39
The shape of the flag is produced using the same method as when determining the border. The shape formed would then be cut and designated a colour
40
Colour
41
Colour as a means of identity can be generated through placing the co-ordinate values of the country next to a basic CMYK percentage chart. The use of colour can extend to the flag of the country, any logos or signage.

Using a simple alphabetical code placed under the ten points of the manifesto, it will be possible to generate a name from the country’s co-ordinates.

The name of the country can then be created by moving the coded numbers into their relative co-ordinate positions, and then picking a letter from each line.

StructuresCoordinates and shape of structures are determined by the manifesto, as well as measurements and amounts.
47
48
Structure 1 Coordinates: (A: 2, 10, 5) (B: 3, 4, 9) (C: 1, 6, 7) (D: 8, 2, 10) (E: 5, 3, 4)Structure 2 Coordinates: (A: 9, 1, 6) (B: 7, 8, 2) (C: 10, 5, 3) (D: 4, 9, 1) (E: 6, 7, 8)...

Determining the amount of structures depends on the position of “Habitat” of the Mani-
festo.

Determining Amount of Structures
Determining the amount of structures depends on the position of “Re-birth (population)” and “Habitat” of the Manifesto.

GThe Pentatonic scale in C comprises of 5 notes, which when played over 2 octacves, makes ten notes that can mirror the ten co-ordinate points of a country’s border.

By then placing the
co-ordinates of the
country’s border over
this scale, a melody of 2-note
chords can be
generated.

55
The combination of 5 chords is to be played over 5 bars, and the length of each chord can be determined by measuring the length of the border between each point in question, and dividing it by 20 to give proportional units relating to the length of the 5 bars.
56
RhythmRhythm patterns can also be determined by using the co-ordinates of the border, placed over the 20 beats that make up 5 bars.
By taking the X and Y co-ordinates in order, and adding 10 to the Y co-ordinate, a complete 20 beat, 5 bar rhythm can be created.

Once a sequence has been determined for both melody and rhythm, these can be used in any order, across any instrument, and at any speed, in order to create a fully-formed musical composition.

Using a sustained example,
this section demonstrates
how one l i fe-cycle of
a country might work.

Plot these co-ordinates onto the grid, connecting up the points to form the shape of the country.
64
4Use the newly generated border to create the shape of the country’s flag
65
The co-ordinates of the border and flag are then
used to generate the colour of the flag

As the first co-ordinate of any country has, in fact been derived from the last co-ordinate of the previous one, it is labelled as White, 0%, so as not to be used twice. To gain the 4 CMYK values, the X and Y co-ordinate of the following 4 points are added together.
