LIVE DIFFERENT IS A CANADIAN CHARIT Y THAT BELIEVES THAT THE MOST IMPORTANT DECISION A PERSON CAN MAKE IS TO LIVE A LIFESTYLE OF COMPASSION TOWARD OTHERS.

I would like to thank everyone who participated in last year’s With Love Gala. Through your generosity, $1,250,000 was raised and used to support our Canadian Youth Fund and our Freedom Village in Haiti! Thank you, thank you, thank you!

This year, we would love to be able to raise the final amount needed to complete the construction of the Freedom Village and to continue supporting our teams who work with students in high schools and Indigenous communities across Canada. 100% of the proceeds of our gala will be shared equally between Live Different’s Canadian Youth Fund and the Freedom Village project in Haiti.

Live Different’s Canadian Youth Fund exists to inspire hope and purpose in youth across Canada. Live Different works in more schools and indigenous communities in Manitoba (per capita) than in any other province in Canada! When investing in this year’s With Love Gala, you will be investing in students right here at home in Manitoba.

Live Different’s Freedom Village in Haiti is a transitional home for young girls who have been trafficked. Once completed, this home will provide a safe place for girls to heal, learn, and prepare for a successful future.

We would love to have you join us at our With Love Gala at the Canadian Museum for Human Rights on September 26, 2019. During our evening together, you will hear amazing stories of lives that have been impacted and changed forever. This will be a time for celebration, a time to catch up with old friends, and a time to meet some new friends.

ABOUT OUR PROGRAMS

Live Different Motivational PresentationsLive Different has one of Canada’s largest face to face youth audiences, including a newly added team that focuses on indigenous communities. To date, Live Different has impacted 1.5 million students across Canada.

Live Different AcademyA gap-year program where young adults are mentored, gain cross-cultural experience, and are transformed in their thinking, their actions, and their focus for the future.

Live Different BuildsIndividuals and groups have the opportunity to travel and help put their donated money to use building houses in developing countries. Live Different’s army of volunteers (6000+ to date) have helped to raise funds for and personally helped to construct over 500 homes for families in desperate need.

Live Different ProjectsThese are larger humanitarian projects which are funded, constructed, and sustained through donations and volunteers in addition to the homes provided through the Build Trips. Some recent projects are a trades learning centre in Mexico, a medical clinic in Dominican Republic, and a school in Haiti.
