Nicosia the capital of Cyprus since the 11th

century, lies roughly in the centre of the island.

Nicosia is the most important cultural centre of

the island and is located 49km from Larnaca

International Airport and 146km from Pafos

International Airport. It is also the home of the

President of the Republic, the Archbishop, the

foreign Embassies and Consulates, the Heads

of the Government, and the Head Offices of

banks and other major businesses. There are

two distinct parts: the old town within the

medieval walls and the new town outside the

walls.

The walls of Nicosia, which enclose the old part

of the capital, were constructed by the

Venetians and subsequently strengthened by

eleven bastions. A birds-eye view of the

circular wall features in the city’s official

emblem. Among the city’s main attractions,

“Laiki Yeitonia” is a revived stone-paved

square, where the atmosphere of old city has

been recreated. Charming winding alleys with

traditional houses, shops, restaurants and

galleries all lovingly restored as typical

examples of Cypriot urban architecture of a

bygone, more graceful age. One can enjoy a

meal or a drink at one of the small coffee shops

or taverns or wander around the interesting

artisan’s galleries and shops, the Archbishop’s

Palace, the Cyprus Museum, the Cyprus

Handicraft Centre etc.

OM DMC can provide you with any type of

transportation or recommend you the best

options available on the island. For VIP Groups

of 20pax and above, OM DMC will provide you

with a hostess to accompany you and your

guests.

AR R I V AL AT T H E AI R P OR T

Upon arrival at the airport your driver will meet

you at the Airport. For groups, a hostess will

welcome you and your guests after the

passport control, and escort you to your

transfer. Transfers with luxury vehicles and

professional drivers will be arranged according

to the number of guests on each flight arrival.

AR R I V AL AT T H E H O T E L

Upon arrival at the hotel, the guests will be

escorted by the driver to the Reception for

check-in. Check-in time is usually at 14.00hrs

unless other arrangements have been made

and approved by the hotel in advance.

Baggage storage facilities and porterage

service may be available depending on the

hotel chosen and arrival time. Early check-in

may be available at a supplement cost.

D E P AR T U R E T R AN S F E R

Based on the flight details provided, OM DMC

will coordinate the departures according to the

number of participants departing on each flight.

Check-out time is at 12.00hrs noon unless

other arrangements have been made and

approved by the hotel in advance. The

departure transfer is arranged 2 ½ hours prior

to the scheduled departure time of the flight

from Larnaca International Airport.

There will two vessels arriving on the island for

the rally week this year, and should you wish to

attend the ERC Cyprus Rally 2019, we will

advise you to seriously consider booking your

space on the vessel in due time with OM DMC.

C ON TRIBUTI ON

Please note that the local ASN will be

contributing towards the costs of the shipping,

thus we will kindly request you to contact the

organizers no later than Friday 26th July

2019 in order to secure the space for your

vehicles on the vessel of your choice as per
