EARLY LIFE

Walter Disney was born on December 5,1901 to EliasDisney and Flora Call Disney in Chicagos HermosaCommunity area.

In 1911 Disney and his family moved to Kansas city where

he attended the Benton Grammar School where he metWalter Pfeiffer

Roy Disney got him a temporary job at Pesmen-Rubin ArtStudio where he met Ubbe Iwerks with whom he formeda short lived company named Iwerks-Disney Commercial

Artists Reading a book by Edwin G Lutz he decided to open his

own animation studio and hired Fred Harman as his firstemployee
