    SPIRITUAL TRAINING

My mentor in Mexico was the Magic Realist painter Bridget

Bate Tichenor, who considered her work to be of a spiritualnature, reflecting ancient occult religions, magic, alchemy, and Mesoamerican mythology in her Italian Renaissancestyle of painting.

Bridget generously presented me with a gift for my twenty-first birthday in 1971 of her mother Sarah Gertrude (Vera)

Arkwright Bate Lombardis Theosophical book-collection of19th and 20th Century Theosophical Society authors. WhenBridget presented the gift of these brilliant British andAmerican authors she stated, England has always been

disinclined to human nature, therefore be aware of theintellectual filter of Anglican Church psychologicalbackground of the authors that translated these 3,000 yearold Sanskrit documents into English. The United Statespsychology is based on a British Protestant societal moralcode and Latin America is founded upon Catholicism, whichboth suppress human nature.

Bridget discussed the philosophies in the books with me.Russian born Madame Helene Petrovna Blavatsky was an

enigma of the nineteenth century in her founding ofTheosophy in New York in 1875. Her extensive writings thatbegan with The Secret Doctrine and Isis Unveiled provoked afrenzy of resentment that violated the sacred opinions oftheologians with the introduction of Ancient Wisdom to themodern world. Blavatsky was an Occult Orientalist and afaithful disciple of Eastern Masters.

No other non-Hindu woman has ever penetrated so far into

the depths of Brahmanism. In the East she was called TheGreat White Yogini. She fitted together parts of occult lore asno other thinker in modern times has done, dividing withclarity relevancy from irrelevancy. She collated her goldenthoughts in an eternal temple of wisdom that has beenunprecedented. In her time she was deeply misunderstood inthe Western world through a lack of Occidentalunderstanding the Oriental Philosophies.

She elaborately laid out the foundations of what becameTheosophy supporting cosmogensis principles founded uponthe Ancient Wisdom of a broad Ancient World Theologies.Much of her writing was channeled through a greatMahatama known as Master Morya, Ahazhulama, or the Blue

Teacher, who is one of the worlds great souls and an Adeptof the Trans-Himalayan Brotherhood, whose members are

dedicated to the service of the spiritual needs of mankind.

The Theosophists were historically the Neo-Platonists ofAlexandria, Egypt, the Alchemists, and Cabbalists during the

mediaeval ages, and much later the Universal Brotherhoodor Theosophical Society founded in New York by Colonel H.S.Olcott and Mme. H. P. Blavatsky in 1875. The original

Theosophical Society group split several times and today isdivided into several schools that carry the name Theosophy.

The Theosophists are to this day all great lovers of divinewisdom and truth of many global religions that originated inAncient Wisdom Doctrines, which is reflected from aprimarily Vedic cosmogenisis principle. At the end of the

19th Century, Blavatsky and many other teachers andauthors from the formative group of Theosophists such asAnnie Besant, Alice Bailey, Sir John Woodroffe, and CharlesLeadbeater received their spiritual directives for Sanskrittranslations and theological coding systems from TibetanMahatmas and Indian Nagas (Eastern terminologies for WiseMen, Great Souls, or Avatars who evolve after death intoAscended Masters).

Vera Bate Lombardi had been first introduced to Theosophyin Paris through her relationship with the early BritishTheosophical authors Charles Leadbetter and Sir JohnWoodroffe. Both became her clairvoyants and spiritualmediums that she met through her close friendship with thepoet Vita Sackville West in London. Leadbeater had givenVera spiritual readings in Paris regarding the future WW IIand the manipulations that would occur in her professionallife with Coco Chanel as her muse and public relations liaisonto members of Royal families from Britain, Europe, Russia, and Asia. He warned her that Chanel would use her for herown professional gain and try to betray England, along withthe British Royal Family before she began to work for Chanel.Vera did not listen to his advice, as his predicated tragediesdid unfold.

Veras daughter Bridget Bate Tichenor stated, In Verasearly years she followed Hindu Philosophy with Sir JohnWoodroffe in London and was considered a mystic, advisingboth luminaries and bohemians. Vera was involved with the

philosophical doctrine of Spiritism and organized sances inwhich she produced figurative drawings of human andanimal spirits. She had the supernatural ability to see andexpress things in intimate details. As an inspiring youngadult, her esoteric insight was sought after by friends, suchas Isadora Duncan, Marchesa Casati, Andre Breton, SergeiDiaghlev, and Jean Cocteau.

Many of those great Theosophical books that Bridget Bate

Tichenor gave me in 1971 that related to Chakra Sciencewere later to become one of the referencing cornerstones formy creation of THE RELAXATIA CODEXTM. The earliestsignificant English translations of Sanskrit text regardingChakra Science in regard to the principles of Tantraappeared in the first quarter of the 20th Century in thepublications of the Theosophist Sir John Woodroffe in hisPrinciples of Tantra (Madras, 1914), Shakti and Shakta(Madras, 1928) The Serpent Power (Madras, 1931),Introduction to and Tantra Shastra (Madras -1969).

Bridget Tichenor taught me the principles of focusing mymind in Raja Yoga study. She also trained my mind-to-handcoordination by giving me Tantric painting exercises in whichI was directed to paint squares, crescent moons, triangles, circles, hexagons, pentagons, double crosses, stars, swastikas, lotuses, and dots (the geometric and symbolicfoundations of both Mandala and Yantra cosmograms) withthree sable haired brushes in one continuous stroke.

She said that a well-trained Tantrika is empowered to createeither benevolent or malevolent Yantras, but that evilthoughts placed in such designs hurt the designers whocreate them through bad character judgment. Bridgettrained me with other focusing and balancing techniques indrawing and painting that reflected the purpose of all

schools of Yoga, which is to resolve human duality throughunity. I continued my studies with Raja Yoga, Hatha Yoga, and Japa Yoga with teachers in Sun Valley, Idaho in 1975-1976 where I first saw my soul within my Spirit Body.

Bridget stressed my studies of Tantra. Tantra is defined inSanskrit with what extends, continues, or multiplies theprocess of knowledge. Tantrism appeared as early as the 4thcentury in India and later developed both in Hinduism andBuddhism from the mysterious pre-Aryan and pre-Dravidiantribes (Sumerians), who entered India from Persia carryingAncient Sacred Knowledge that had originated in Egypt andMesopotamia. Bridget discussed with me her theories of thegreat biblical flood of Noah, and the origins of the Caucasian

(Aryan) race in what is today Armenia and Turkey in theCaucus Mountains, who historically formed the Aryan andDravidian tribes that migrated East after the famed delugeoccurring over the lands around the Black Sea. Tantrism is ahighly developed psychological science that has shapedevery Oriental doctrine in India, China, Tibet, Japan, Korea, and Southeast Asia. The earliest written records are in theVedic Brahman Hindu Indian Upanishads TheBrihadaranyaka and the Chhandogya.

Tantric doctrine is composed of the seven Chakras with theKundalini in a system of Tantric Yoga. The aim of Tantric

Yoga is to arouse the Kundalini in the first Chakra at thebase of the spine, and direct the flow of Kundalini up thecentral spinal column through the other five Chakras to theCrown Chakra at the top of the head. The central spinalcolumn has two other flanking and crossing channels thatare called Nadis Channels that are the female white Ida onthe left side of the Root Chakra and the male red Pingala onthe right side of the Root Chakra. The aim of the Tantrika orstudent Tantra is to bring these two polarities together atthe base of the spine at the entrance to the central spinalcolumn in specific breathing techniques by alternating theflow of air through each nostril called Pranayama. ThePranayama activates the two Nadis Channels to push up the

Kundalini through the seven Chakras, awakening andtransforming the psychology, physiological, and emotionalaspects of the practitioner that each Chakra represents.

During my spiritual formative years of the 1970s, Bridgettrained me with my early Tantric Yoga practices that laterlead me to investigate the Kundalini process within myself. She stressed that I learn the ancient Mystery Schoolfoundations of ritual magic, divine assistance, and mysticalenlightenment that all religions are concerned with inpostmortem security. I studied the many books she gave meand followed her directives with great insights and thatsuccessfully raised the Kundalini, but the Kundaliniexperience with an application to healing was what I yearned

    for.

    MEXICAN PUREPECHA SHAMANS/ESPIRITUALISTAS

My journey into the traditional healing arts begins with thisexcerpt from my 2002 autobiography:

I remember taking a long ten-mile hike up on the SalmonRiver before I left Sun Valley, Idaho in 1976. I asked my

guides what was the next step. I watched two eagles divingfor fish in the river. As one of the eagles swooped down tocatch a trout, it made a giant splash of water that shot up toreflect a golden fountain of light on the river. At thatmoment, I heard a voice say to me, It is time for you to gaininsight, training, and application of the healing arts. Wheredid this voice come from? Who or what was giving me thisdirection? Where and how was I to get this knowledge?

Finally, one day during my meditation, I saw a giant

luminous golden figure approximately sixty feet above myhead. This image was the first time that I received my SpiritBodys visual identification, which was an androgynousgolden figure with a white light cord connecting to the body.A voice said emphatically, Zachary, it is time for you toreturn to Zihuatanejo, Guerrero, Mexico! Zihuatanejo? Whynot Paris, where I could continue my work as a painter?

    6

    7/45

Then I remembered my first trips to Zihuatanejo in 1970. Iarrived in a small single engine plane that I chartered fromMexico City to land on a dirt road in a Coconut plantation.

There was a rustic shack on the landing strip that wascombination airport/big-game hunting office that consistedof thick slab of Bocote wood as a bar with a massive stuffedcoiled and hissing rattlesnake. The walls were covered in

Jaguar, Puma, Ocelot, and Boar mounted heads. There wereJaguar skins covering other walls with stuffed Crocodiles, SeaTortoises, Iguanas, Armadillos, Swordfish, Marlin, Dorado, and Barracuda. The sand floor had baskets of seashells, alligator handbags, shoes, and belts for sale.

I stayed at the Catalina Hotel, where there was not onefootprint in the sand of La Ropa Beach and the environmentwas pristine. There were only a few Americans living in thecoconut huertas, who later made that very beach their homesuch as my lifetime friend Tania Scales and her family.

The magical Zihuatanejo bay I recalled was a Gauguinparadise. Scenes of women washing their clothing withnaked children under a bridge, splashing in the crystal clearriver that ran into the ocean near the village came to mind.

Most of all I recalled the powerful light and high vibrations ofpeace.

Again, I had an overwhelming sense of direction that couldnot be stopped. I had to surrender completely to my gutfeelings of serenity versus my intellect. The communicationfrom my soul within my Spirit Body known as the HigherSelf to my mind soon proved to be a prophetic message. Mysoul responded to an ancient call of my ancestors.

Zihuatanejos Nahuatl name is Cihuatlan, and based upon

20tth and 21stt century archaeological findings in Xihuacannear the village of Chole, was founded over 3,500 years agoby the Olmec culture, 850 years earlier than the Maya.

After the conquest, the Spaniards arrived in Cihuatlan in1582 for gold and pearls, and asked the women, Where arethe boys and men? The women told them that this is a

    7

    8/45

Matriarch. If they birthed boys, they were sent out ofCihuatlan to be raised by their fathers families. The Spanishlaughed when they were informed Cihuatlan in Nauhuatlmeans land of women. They called it Cihuat-tanejo, nejo

meaning, dirty. The legend goes that the women who livedin CIhuatlan washed dirty clothes in the river, and thus thename became misinterpreted.

In the 16th century, the Spaniards were given legends by thelocal Indians of a great mother civilization that sank in thePacific that the people of CIhuatlan had come from.

There were earlier digs than the discoveries in nearby Cholein 1921 by mineralogist William Niven looking for Gold andSIlver, who discovered a group of undecipherable tablets in

Rio del Oro, near Placeres del Oro, Guerrero in the sierraNorth East of Zihuatanejo.

In 1921, William Niven, a miner and excavator, claimed tohave discovered over 2,600 inscribed tablets while diggingat an archaeological site in Rio del Oro near Placeres del Oro,Guerrero, 2 hours North East of Zihuatanejo in themountains.

Niven's discovery led James Churchward, a tea planter in SriLanka, to claim in his book, The Lost Continent of Mu

(1926) to have found tablets of the same type some 50years earlier when he was living in India. Churchward neverprinted copies of his original findings in India, but did obtaincopies of rubbings of Nivens tablets that he illustrated andprinted without authorization from Niven in his books TheSacred Symbols of Mu and The Pixeyites: Manuscripts andOriginal Art Work by James Churchward 1925-1932

"All of the figures in Pixeyites are exact reproductions ofsymbolical figures found at Chimalpa, Remedios, San Miguel,

Amantla, Santiago, Ahuizotla, and other nearby villages from4 to 6 miles north-west of Mexico City. Churchward writes inhis forward to Pixeyites.

Churchward stated in The Sacred Symbols of Mu thatNivens findings in Guerrero were relevant to Mu; the tabletsfrom the burial sites in Guerrero referenced the Quetzal

religion of the Naacals that colonized the region from MU,pre-dating Olmec, Maya, Toltec, and Aztec Quetzalcoatlcultural evolution from the original paradigm.

Niven learned of Churchward's books from a friend and was

intrigued by his theories, but knew that scientists would beskeptical. Essentially Nivens findings in Churchwards handswere given a life of their own. Niven said about Churchward'swork:

His wonderful imagination in the accumulation of evidencefrom any source to prove his pet belief in the destruction ofMu...and his reckless extravagance in computing dates, mustmake the judicious grieve. Notwithstanding, some of myfriends think that he may have paved the way for the correct

deciphering of my tablets.Later anthropologists such as my professor Baron AlexanderVon Wuthenau, Lost Continent scholars, and authors didtheorize upon Churchwards deciphering of Nivens tabletsthroughout Mexico to be applicable to the origins of Mu andproved them to not only be older than the Olmec in thelocations found, but valid in association to Mu in theirincomparable Mesoamerican symbolic reference.

    Niven was not an anthropologist or an archaeologist;

therefore he was unorganized in the findings documentationand preservation. Niven was not interested in ancienthistory, as he was interested in selling the tablets, whichwere copied on paper, but eventually lost in the saleshipment from Mexico to the US.

Churchward claims that the tablets originated in a lostcontinent called Mu and were written by an ancient peoplenamed the Naacals who were the original inhabitants of theEarth. Churchward claimed his tablets were transferred to

Burma, then to India, then Egypt, where they were dispersedaround the globe, including where Niven unearthed them inMexico. In other words, the same set of tablets Churchwardhad, was also discovered by Niven in Guerrero. According toChurchward, there were apparently many original setsduplicated.

    9

Anthropologists such as Von Wuthenau correlated the areanear and above Zihuatanejo called Placeres del Oro,Guerrero as a colony of the ancient continent of Mu that wassettled by the Nacaals.

According to Churchward, Mu and its civilization dated tobefore the ancient Greeks, Chaldeans, Babylonians, Persians,Egyptians, and Hindus but were far more advanced than anyof them. In fact, he claimed it was more advanced than ourown civilization. The continent of Mu existed 50,000 yearsago and had 64,000,000 inhabitants, some of whommigrated to India, then Egypt, then Sinai, and it follows thestory of the Bible after that. The boundaries of the continentMu stretched from Hawaii to Fiji and Easter Island, also

known as the Pacific Rim.The writings on the Naacal tablets, according to Churchward, confirmed the creation of Earth and humans, which hadoriginated on the lost continent of Mu. Churchward claimsMu was destroyed by massive natural disasters andcataclysmic events, which caused it to vanish in a vortex ofwater and fire 12,000 years ago.

The Naacal tablets were separated into several series, orchapters rather, that tell the story of the creation and

    destruction of Mu.Tablets

Series one: Shows the origin of the world and the waiting ofthe expected arrival of man.

Series two: Shows the creation of mountains by rising gases.

Series three: Describes the creation of the great forcesthroughout the universe and how they work.

Series four: Explains the differentiation of the two divisionsof Earths primary force.

Series five: Depicts the creation and workings of Earthsatomic force.

Series six: Shows the creation of the force that creates andsustains life and how it works.

    10

  • 7/23/2019 A Journey Into Ancient Mystery Schools - April 2011

    11/45

Series seven: Describes the beginning of life and shows whatthat means, as well as the different, changing forms of life.

Series eight: The creation of man takes place and the tabletsshow how the life form of man differentiates from all else.

Series nine: Says that man first appeared on theMotherland of Man, or Mu.

Series ten: Were much larger than the tablets in thepreceding series. These tablets were used as a key tounderstand the previous tablets and the glyphs, symbols, and hidden messages that are written as the story of thecreation of Mu.

Churchward believed these to be the beginning of thousands

of more tablets that portray the entire ancient history of theNaacal people and their original habitation of the Earth.

There were three years that followed my earlier spiritualvisions from ages twenty-six to twenty-nine 1976-1979 that Ispent working in the healing arts with powerful TarascanPurepecha Indian Nahualli Shamans in the Sierra Madreabove Zihuatanejo, Mexico in the region of the Niven tabletfindings.

The wise Nahuallis taught me that the purpose of life anddeath was for the purification of the soul, and that sacrificesof righteousness for purification were necessary to ultimatelyand permanently connect with God for the Spirit Body orHigher Self to direct Gods will, knowledge, courage, andsilence into an individuals human consciousness. Thesometimes sad and painful tests and trials of individualsenabled those chosen Initiates of Ancient Mystery Knowledgeto help support, comfort, service, care, and love others bothin life and afterlife. They said that part of Gods plan is that

each incarnation be veiled in the forgetting of the former life,in order that an individual learn from a clear perspective apresent consciousness.

They focused upon the point that both human incarnationson earth and spiritual underworld purgatory suffering of all

souls were to diminish karma; but, that a soul connected tothe Spirit Body or Higher Power would never sacrifice itsidentity or purpose, nor surrender unbalancing dispersions ofLight to anything that was not of a co-generating Light. The

universal laws of abundance were stressed. Where asdeprivation consciousness, portrayed in the guise of sacrificewas looked upon as a Mosaic, Christian, or Isalmic belief tosubordinate the masses for financial control through afear/shame/guilt belief that is completely destructive tospiritual wholeness.

My fieldwork as an apprentice Shaman/Spiritualist began onehot dry late March 1976 afternoon when the wind of theMexican Pacific Tropics blew softly across my face as I

descended from the small plane at the airport inZihuatenjeo. My Spirit Body had guided me here to receivemy training in the healing arts, and it felt deliciously right!Mexico had always been home to me from childhood tripswith my family at age 13, to studying MesoamericanAnthropology at The University of the Americas in MexicoCity at 16, and to apprenticing with some of the greatestMexican Surrealist painters such as the late Bridget Bate

Tichenor and Pedro Friedeberg beginning at 20. I loved

Mexico for many reasons, but primarily for its compassionatepeople. The difference in this trip was that my Spirit Bodywas guiding me versus my mind or its intellectual interests.

One morning, a few days after I had arrived at The HotelCatalina on La Ropa Beach, I was meditating in my hammockabove the cool foam-green tiled terrace of my cabana. Iopened my eyes and gazed across the lush tropical gardenand into the marked gradations of the turquoise blue Pacificsome 200 feet below my terrace. The light was brilliant!

There was a sense of oneness that I felt, and a completesurrender to trusting the Universe. I felt safe. I was notthinking. I was feeling. I had been suffering from painfulmigraine headaches, fever, and nausea since my arrival. Atthat moment, I felt a complete reprieve. I knew that myquestions would be answered regarding finding the teacherswho would instruct me in the healing arts. I was in a state of

    12

  • 7/23/2019 A Journey Into Ancient Mystery Schools - April 2011

    13/45

    trusting my Spirit Body.

A weathered Tarascan Indian gardener appeared in theflowering garden just below my cabana. He was wearing ayellow straw hat and the white manta costume of the

Mexican coastal tribes. He was hoeing the rich dark volcanicearth to the plant fruit trees. I stood up from the hammockand asked him, Senor, excuse me. Do you know of acurendero (healer) in this area? He stopped his work, resting his body on the hoe, and raised his sun bronzedchiseled face towards me to reply, Si Senor, there is avillage of curenderos (healers) just north of Zihuatanjeo.

The village is called El Limon. All of our families from theregional villages go there to be healed when they are sick.

The foreigners do not go there, nor do the upper classMexicans. There is a long line sometimes; so, prepareyourself to wait when you go. You can tell them that DonMiguel sent you.

When you completely trust the higher power of your SpiritBody a peaceful mental, emotional, and physical stateoccurs, and material manifestations can happenimmediately. This happened in my case exactly at the righttime. The gardener gave me the direction to my purpose forbeing in Zihuatanejo.

Early the next morning I hired a taxi to drive me from thehotel to the village of El Limon. I arrived at row of six smallhumble red-tiled roof and white adobe houses, with aseventh palm thatched-roof house at the end, on a dirt road

just off the main highway. The driver left me at the firsthouse where the door was open. A tall green-eyed and lightalabaster-skinned Mexican woman with a serene smile cameout on the steps to greet me. She introduced herself as DonaMarta, and she assured me that I had come to the rightplace. She invited me into the cool immaculately sweptbeige clay floored house that had a number of elderlyIndians and Mexicans dressed completely in white seated ata rustic wooden table drinking coffee. There were chickens, dogs, pigs, and an assortment of naked young childrenmoving in and out of the house as I entered. I announced

    13

  • 7/23/2019 A Journey Into Ancient Mystery Schools - April 2011

    14/45

that the gardener at the Hotel Catalina had sent me.

Dona Marta asked me if I would like some water and if Iwould like to join the others at the table. It was beastly hotand I gladly accepted the water. The atmosphere in the room

had an illuminated quality. The older people were smiling atme as I approached them, and Dona Marta formallyintroduced me to the group. I was very excited, and a bittaken back, by the fact that I was in a village of healers!

I questioned Dona Marta on what their belief system was,how they worked, when they worked, and what would itinvolve for me to learn from them. Her eyes opened wideand she looked to the others smiling before she replied. Shesaid, We are Spiritualists, who work through the Christ

within each humans Spiritual Body. We are not Christians orCatholics, but work with the Ancient Wisdom Schoolteachings that were taught to Jesus, Kukulcan, Osiris, andBuddha. The original Spirit Body and ascension teachingswere brought from Atlantis to not only Egypt and India, butto the Americas with the Olmec, Maya, Mixteca, Tarascans, and others.

Throughout Mexico and Latin America the blend of ourancient indigenous beliefs and practices were mixed with the

Spiritualism movement created by the Frenchman AlanKardec in the late 19th century

In our group there is a young hunchback and dwarf psychicDon Luis, who diagnosis illness through his clairvoyantfaculties. He can determine whether the patients malady isof a mental, spiritual, or physical nature. He then consultswith the white haired and blue-eyed Tarascan Indian medicaldoctor Don Fernando, who is a medium. Don Fernando wasborn to a family of Nahuals (form-changing sorcerers who

can be either malevolent or benevolent), and he was guidedin his youth to use his faculties as medium combined withtraditional medicine. Don Fernando is a medium that goesinto a spiritual trance to receive both a diagnosis and aprescription from his Spiritual Guides. All of his guides aredoctors and scientists whom are deceased.

    14

Don Fernando and Don Luis work together to prescribe thepatients cure based upon their collective analysis. We workwith our traditional medicinal Tarascan Indian herbalremedies that have been used here in Mexico for thousands

of years, modern medical drugs and technology; and, mostimportantly through God, the Holy Spirit, and a multitude ofspiritual entities. The healings are performed here only on

Tuesdays and Fridays from 9:00 AM until 6:00 PM. Theconsultations for patients are Monday through Saturday atthe same hours. We are in prayer on Sunday at 10:00 AM 12:00 PM.

There is no fee for our work. Donations are accepted. ThePresident of Mexico Luis Echeverria gave us this land and the

money to build the houses in gratitude for the miraculoushealing that occurred with his wife here.

Dona Marta and the others looked earnestly at me throughthe hot tropical morning for my response. The people weremotionless, but emanated a powerful force field of radiatingand pulsating light. Suddenly, I saw and felt a ray of goldenlight shoot up from the group through the roof of thebuilding into the heart of my Spirit Body, which was attachedby a golden cord to the top of my head, and hoveringapproximately sixty feet above myself in the sky. This wasmy Spirit Body known as the Higher Self and I could feel theessence of my soul! I could at last identify my own SpritBody and its visual connection to both my mind and mybody. I was speechless! Finally, all I could say was Thankyou. My prayers had manifested into sequentialmaterialized events and visions, which I would soon followinto a three-year apprenticeship of Spiritism with these mostextraordinary people. My work in El Limon and theexperiences I had became my spiritual foundation for life!

Dona Marta left me at her house to walk down to theirHealing Temple at the end of the road She returned shortlywith both Don Luis and Don Fernando. They were identicallydressed in fresh white Guayavera cotton long-sleeve shirts, white cotton trousers, and tan huarachi leather sandals.

They introduced themselves and asked if I was ready to

    15

    16/45

begin the diagnosis work. I said, Yes, lets begin now.

I left with the two men to go to the second house, which theycalled the Vision Temple. They said, This is where wediagnose the patients. We entered the stark one-room

house. There were several chairs against a white adobe wallwith an old wooden school desk loaded with stacks of manilacolored folders in the middle of the room. Don Luis, thehunchback dwarf psychic Mexican man of about twenty-fiveasked that I be seated. They pointed to a wooden chairfacing the desk. He took a chair and sat facing me in front ofthe desk. Don Fernando, the blue-eyed and white bearded

Tarascan Indian medical doctor/Medium, took another chairand sat next to him. The psychic Don Luis asked that I place

my hands palms-up on my knees and keep my feet togetheron the ground.

Both men began to pray and after a few minutes stopped. The sunlight blazed through the windows in the house, creating a ball of golden light around both men. The houseappeared to float with an undulating movement. I felt astrong presence of a large group of people in the room, yetthere was just the three of us there. There was a sense ofthe house then being moved up and suspended by someforce.

Suddenly, the elderly white-bearded Doctor/Medium DonFernando, whose eyes were closed, emphatically said, Manygreat spirits of doctors have come today to speak to usconcerning your case. Some of these spirits, who holdmedical records, are your personal spirit guides that havealways been with you and always will be with you. Thenthere are the ancient ones that guide them from this land ofCIhuatlan. They are saying that you have come to us tobecome initiated with The Great White Light of God andlearn to be guided by the Dead who lived here thousands ofyears ago as an Espiritualista. Afterwards, you can beginto learn how to fulfill your destiny with your faculties as aPsychic and a Healer. Your spiritual brothers of light saythat in the Akashic records it is karmicly programmed foryou, in this lifetimes mission, to carry this knowledge to the

information. I defensively thought to myself, I am a humanbeing and have no aspirations whatsoever to be the nextmessiah, nor do I want to receive directives from the Dead.

This message holds a rather profound responsibility; and, Iam a bit afraid of the Spiritual quest I have involved myselfwith here in Zihuatanejo! I want to hold on to being human I am only twenty-six years old. Visions of the life of anEastern ascetic holy man came into my mind. My mindbecame frozen with fearful thoughts, blocking and resisting

these spiritual messages. How can I be both spiritual andhuman? What about my sex life in this wilderness?

Then the hunchback dwarf psychic Don Luis began to speak,You were born into a family in this lifetime that did not loveyou and ignored you. Your parents violated and abused youmentally, emotionally, physically, and spiritually. All of thesehorrendous acts of human violation against you did notdestroy your soul within your Spirit Body; but did make yourego or mental will in your physical body defiant andrebellious against others and yourself, reflecting theseparation of your soul from your Spirit Body or Higher Self.At times of true consciousness, you did not fall prey tovictimization or self-pity patterns, as you were lead by theomnipotence of your Spirit Body into situations that reflectedyour attributes through your enormous gratitude of Godsblessings.

This awareness of your Spirit Body or Higher Self came earlyin life as your protector and guardian that connected youwith God. Yet, most of your life has been handicapped bygreat sadness, fear, and pain. Unfortunately, due to theschism of your Soul from your Spirit Body, the familyconditioning has deep attachments in your ego withillusionary negative belief systems that affect your mind. Both the separation within your soul and from your SpiritBody through your mind has attracted much pain and

suffering in your life. These negative psychological patternsfrom your soul and family karmic history must be broken foryou to attend to your tasks ahead. Some of these patternsare conscious, but many issues still remain unconscious. The

past spiritual crimes of your parents must be identified indetail with your reactions that established behavioralpatterns, so that you may break the harmful programmingso as not to become a victim and let such violations occuragain.

There is great danger with the forces of darkness thatgravitate to these negative thoughts, and you have manydark spirits who have not reincarnated that are attached tothe powerful light within your Soul. They are like astral

vampires, which feed on every aspect of your being.Because of their own unresolved negative karma, theyhunger for that which they do not have, stealing from livingspirits to try to escape from their Bardo or limbo existenceinto another reincarnation. They enter through the darkholes into your Spirit Body to the core of your soul to findlight. These holes are a result of your own negative beliefpatterns. These holes must be sealed. You see life on earthaffords a human Soul the opportunity to learn through thematerial plane, which is much more complex than the

    Spiritual.

A physical problem has now manifested resulting from yoursouls disconnection to the light of your Spirit Body and Godthrough the parasitical Spirits who block you from your soulboth in your physical body and within your Spirit Body.

There are 5 core issues revealed in my visions to beaddressed, 1. Your souls separation from your Spirit Body, 2.

Your Spirit Bodys separation from God, 3. Your Spirit Bodysseparation from your mind, 4. Your egos attachment to pastbelief systems, and 5. Your minds separation from youphysical body.

You have brain amoebas (encephalitis), which in essence area physical manifestation of these dark forces, whichcrystallized from your minds reaction to perpetrations andneglect of your family into your Spirit Body. This disease is

sourced within your clear soul blueprint that the guides areshowing me. If this illness continues, you will die. You havemuch healing ahead of you and this will take a great lengthof time.

The hunchback dwarf psychic opened his eyes and turned tospeak to the elderly Doctor/Medium Don Fernando, I havestated my visions. What do you prescribe for this brother oflight? Don Fernando firmly said, This man must bespiritually cleansed three times with herbal bath ceremonies limpias espirituales. He must immediately begin a courseof medical treatment for the brain amoebas. As the elderlyman spoke, the psychic Don Luis wrote both the Spiritual

and medical prescription down for me, while referencingsome of the manila folders on the desk near him. He smiledand handed me the written prescriptions and said, TheSpiritual prescription is for Dona Marta and the medical oneis for the clinic in the village.

The diagnosis was finished. The elderly Doctor/Mediumopened his brilliant blue eyes as though he had awakenedfrom a deep sleep. Both men stood up and asked that Ireturn on Friday to begin the Spiritual treatments. They saidthat I should go to the clinic in the village for analysis andstart the medical treatments immediately. I thanked theseamazingly gifted men, walked back to say goodbye to DonaMarta, and hitchhiked back to Zihuatanejo in the heat of themid-day sun. I was speechless!

I followed a course of the prescribed treatments from bothDon Luis and Don Fernando for the next month. An analysiswas made at the clinic in Zihuatanejeo, and the encephalitiswas confirmed in those reports. I took a four-week treatmentof intravenous medications for the encephalitis, whichcompletely cleared it up.

Every Tuesday and Friday I would arrive at 9:00 AM at ElLimon dressed completely in the white cotton mantas of thelocal natives. The first three treatments were the spiritualhealing sessions. I would enter the Healing Temple, wherethere would be six Indian women of all ages with Dona Marta

    19

(total of 7), standing in a circle around a fire burning in thecenter of the room that vaulted up to an opening to the skyat the top of the thatched-palm roof. They were impeccablydressed in traditional embroidered floor-length white cotton

gowns with their hair tied back off their faces with simplewhite cotton ribbons.

Dona Marta was in charge of the limpias or spiritualcleansings. She directed me to stand near the fire within thecircle of six other women, to turn my attention to my SpiritBody, and let the light of God come into both the Spirit Bodyand the physical body to heal myself. She said, We honorour spiritual ancestors from all four cardinal directions, thenorth who are the spiritual, the east who are the mental, the

south who are the emotional, and the west who are thephysical. You will move clockwise as we direct you throughthe circle.

Each of the three healing sessions was essentially the samein structure. In the beginning of the ceremony, the direction Ifaced was north, and then the progression of cardinaldirections would circulate to east, south, and west. DonaMarta stood in front of me with the other six womenenclosing me within a circle. Dona Marta held a large glassbottle with a brownish-green herbal tincture filled with anassortment of fresh-mortared plants that were mixed withalcohol. There was a pile of more herbs that were separatedinto groups on the floor beside her. She looked up throughthe opening in the ceiling to the blazing sun and prayed withher arms outstretched and her palms-open facing up. Shebent down and took complete plants that had roots, stems, leaves, and sometimes flowers in one hand and poured theherbal mixture over them.

She continued to pray and began brushing the drenchedplants from the top of my head to my feet, making distinctcrosses at my feet, legs, pubic region, solar plexus, navel, heart, throat, brow, and the top of my head Occasionally, she would thrash the plants on those points in my body, asthough she were hitting something inside of me that she wastrying to dislodge. At the end of the ceremony, she took the

    20

entire bunch of herbs and broke them in half, throwing themon the floor in front of me, and asked that I step on them tobreak the negative energy.

My head began to spin when I completed all four of the

cardinal directions within the circle. I felt dizzy, nauseous, and as though, large spaces in my body had been removed. My body felt raw and I was flushed with an intense heat thatstarted in my lower back and moved up my spine to the topof my head I then felt a current of energy that moved, in a

jerking-manner like a drill-bit, up the same path as the heat.My body went into convulsions that I felt I could no longercontrol. My solar plexus expanded and contracted. I wantedto vomit and began to have dry-heaves. The praying women

on the perimeter of the circle contained me, and preventedme from falling into the fire in the center. I stood shaking likea snake on fire! I suddenly became my spirit in the form of aserene glowing golden figure with a purple aura some sixtyfeet above my physical body outside of the Healing Temple. My Spirit Body and I were one! My Spirit Body began toradiate waves of seven colored-bands of light and to expanddown into my physical body through a golden cord. I sawnothing but white golden light. The faces of Dona Marta andthe other women were blurred by the strong light, which was

now emanating from inside of me and pulsating outwards.

The six other women took large white cotton manta sheetsand began to wrap my entire body, covering everything butmy eyes and mouth. They then lifted me up and carried me,like a bandaged mummy, to a cot where they gently placedme. The women, continuing to pray, placed heaping moundsof fragrant white tropical flowers over my wrapped head andtorso. Dona Marta came over to the side of the cot and said,Don Zacarias, you must rest for a few hours now. I looked

up at her smiling face and fell into a deep sleep.

I woke up feeling disoriented. The sheets were soaking wetwith perspiration. I tried to free myself from the sheets.Dona Marta came over to me and said in a comfortingmanner, Don Zacarias, you have slept for 5 hours. Thelimpia has freed your Soul to be connected once again to

your Spirit and your body. We have performed a spiritualsurgery on you. You must take great caution now to protectyourself, as you are in a most vulnerable state. It isimportant that you rest these next two days before the next

cleansing. She directed the six other women to unwrap the dampsheets from me, which they peeled-off my now cool and wetbody. I felt so incredibly light and sharply sensitive to bothsound and sight. Like a child, I looked up to the women andcould feel their thoughts. No verbal communication wasnecessary. My physical body felt strong and energized.Moving felt as light as flying. I slowly stood up and walked tothe entrance where I had my bags with a change of clothing.

I asked for a place that I could change clothing, and one ofthe women directed me to a hospital screen on the far sideof the room. I went behind the screen, striped off thesoaking wet white manta shirt and trousers and changedinto identical attire.

Dona Martas white-gowned figure glided across the room tome like a guardian angel, handing me a glass of water, andsaid, Don Zacarias, remember to be careful during theperiod after the limpia. This is when you are mostvulnerable. You will have many unusual experiences now asyour Mind, Spirit, and Body begin to reconnect. Eat a lightdiet and sleep as much as you can. We will protect youspiritually. Do not worry. We will see you hare again onFriday morning.

Over the course of the three spiritual cleansings, I becamephysically grounded in the light of my Spirit Body. I tookDon Fernandos prescription of intravenous medicaltreatments for the brain amoebas over a period of onemonth. The first month was by no means a pleasurableexperience, nor was it an instantaneous cure. The spiritualwork of healing takes a gradual and sometimes erratic pathof correcting imbalances. There is no time- frame, nor is it alinear process.

Normally, after a healing session, I always felt extraordinarilyuplifted. I would then feel ghastly or sick on one level or

    22

    23/45

another. These bad times would then be followed by asense of well-being, which eventually stabilized. Like awound that was healing, a metaphorical scaring transpired. Itook copious notes in my daily journal, and would detail and

identify these experiences to Dona Marta, Don Fernando, and Don Luis. They would patiently explain to me exactlywhat was transpiring on the mental, spiritual and physicallevels after a specific episode occurred. I was being taughtthe art of healing through my own healing process. I hadgone through not only a very precise Mind/Spirit/Bodyhealing, but I had also been prepared for a number ofinitiations that followed over the next three years.

After a month had passed, Dona Marta and Don Fernando

asked me to go with them up into the mountains aboveZihuatanejo to the village of Potrerios, where I was to beritually baptized and initiated as a Spiritualist. Don Fernandowas born in the remote and extremely poor village that onlyconsisted of ten houses with no electricity or running water.

The village was positioned above a very wide and crystal-clear river that cut through thousands of giant Grey-whitegranite boulders down to the ocean some thirty-five milesaway. There were orange, mango, pineapple, and papayaorchards scattered through deep forests of coconut palmsalong the fertile riverbank. A profusion of yellow-headedgreen parrots and white butterflies filed the skies from dawnto dusk; and, the air was perfumed with the late springripeness of tropical flowers in bloom. My life had changeddramatically within these last thirty days; and, finally, I feltmy purpose here on earth.

We were greeted by Don Fernandos family members andspent the night. At dawn the next morning the entire villagegathered along the banks of the river to participate in mybaptism/initiation ceremony. Dona Marta, Don Fernando, andI were standing on a giant slab of granite rock that jutted-outover the river facing east. The others remained at adistance watching. Don Fernando stood facing the rising sunwith his arms extended and prayed to God.

He gave prayers of thanks to the Ancestral Spirits and Spirit

    23

    24/45

Guides, and then invoked The Spiritual Brotherhood of Light.Ancestral Spirits are believed to have a larger portion ofdivine favor and influence; and, they are invoked to assist anindividual and intercede with God. Dona Marta began to

make signs of the cross with river water on the top of myhead, forehead, neck, shoulders, heart, hands, legs, andfeet. She prayed as she performed a Spiritualist baptism.Don Fernando then came up to me and marked one cross onmy brow and another on the base of the back of my neckwith the river water.

Suddenly, I felt as though my entire body was on fire andthat I was engulfed in an enormous violet flame. In thatmoment, I perceived a timeless consciousness that was

omnipotent. I had what is known as a conversionexperience or a spontaneous Kundalini experience, wherea human being becomes one with the Light of God that is thelife force of all creation. Simultaneously, I saw Jesus as anAscended Master extending his radiance into both my SpiritBody and my physical body. That one transcendentKundalini experience became the experiential anchor formy Spiritual identification.

I worked in El Limon, healing the poor and sick for threeyears. I was trained by Don Luis to channel my guides, psychically diagnose illnesses, and Dona Marta instructedme in the Mexican traditional herbal/nutritional recipes forspecific cures that I later prescribed. Eventually, Iestablished a small clothing factory for my designs in thevillage of Portrerios after the Governor of Guerrero tookelectricity to them. My Spirit Body had not only guided me tomy lifes mission, but had provided artistic and economicchannels for me to sustain myself.

I made lifetime friends with the German resident Kristine vonJurtczenka- Morast, who witnessed the challenges and joys ofmy work in El Limon and Potrerios. Other locals, such as

Tania Scales, Margo Chapman, Isabelle, Patsy Cumming, andAnita from Bungalows Pacificos supported my quest forknowledge and experience in my adopted home. LaurenHutton, who came and went, guided me to promote the

clothing designs. My Mexican friends Kuxi von Wuthenau,Chela Braniff, Iris Truett, and Jeanette de Longoria openeddoors for the clothing collections to be sold in Mexico City,Acapulco, New York, and Los Angeles.

No foreigner had entered and been trained by theEspirtualistas, and I was quite alone in my quest with littleunderstanding from my European or American friends, yetKristine stood by me with great support and compassion. Most of the locals I encountered did not understand my workin El Limon, and found the Spiritualists peculiar, sometimescalling them brujos or witches from their Catholicperspective. Lau

Many of the people who came to the clinic at El Limon were

elderly, deformed, infirmed, or ailing with some chronic orrare disease that had been declared incurable by medicaldoctors. The Nahuallis. in most cases, treatments were ableto eradicate pathological disorders that ranged fromrheumatoid arthritis to blindness, paralysis, cancer, tumors, and epilepsy. The investigative diagnostics for a cure that Iwas trained to perform on patients were sometimeshorrifying experiences for me as a novice healer. There werein most cases a form of spiritual possession in which I wouldsee and analyze the negative entity that had attached itselfto an individuals shadow. During that period of internship, Iwas always in the presence of one of the Nahualli Shamans, who directed my visionary diagnostics and then took myfindings to the other shamans for a complete analysis andprescription.

I undertook arduous preparatory cleansings and initiationsthat introduced me first to my spirit and its soul that areattached to the physical body, and then to my Spirit Guides.

The soul is the divine essence of our being that is immortal, and it resides within both the body and the spirit. The Bodydisintegrates in time, and the Spirit Body takes the soulbeyond our physical reality into its home first within the solardimension where Divine Intelligence directs it for evolution, which may involve purgatory, re-incarnation, or ascension.

    25

    26/45

The spirit is the divine intelligence that has a form of aluminous golden-white body, the ancients called the LightBody, which exists approximately 60 feet above the physicalbody. The spirit is connected to the physical body by a

shining cord from the physical solar plexus through the feetof the spirit. The soul is at home within both the physicalbody and the Spirit Body for its lessons in life while on theearth plane.

The Nahuallis defined human existence to me as being intwo parts, the Tonal and the Nahual. The Tonal is the worldstructure made by the mind or mental filter based uponbelief systems and can sometimes be used to define theworld of form or the material plane that is established by

each humans shadow known as the Tonalli or spirit-familiar. The Tonalli determines the human ego andtherefore defines the mind in relationship to form. TheNahual is the mysterious aspect of the human soul that isguided by the Nahual or primary spirit guide that is the formof an animal. There are five initiations that transform ahuman beings Tonal that give access to the Nahual. Thesefive steps or accomplishments pertain to the five lowerChakras that represent the physical body of man. In essence,

this is a 5-step process of mastering the distortions orillusion created through the mental and emotional filters ofthe mind human through raising awareness in order to gainaccess to the higher planes of spiritual consciousness.

I was shown the shadow or spirit familiar of my Soul calleda Tonalli (Nahuatl) or Kina (Maya), and my Nahual (Nahuatl)or Uay (Mayan), the animal counterpart to my soul in theSpirit Body or Kinan (Mayan), which is the primary SpiritualGuide and Protector. I was later prepared to receive myother Spiritual Guides, who worked through a spirit-filteringsystem established by my Ancestral Guides by my Tonalliand Nahualli to keep myself protected from disincarnateentities of a malevolent nature.

I would ask my elder teachers to please explain the

    26

dynamics of both my healing and psychic faculties. Theyanswered that all I had to do was surrender to The GreatWhite Light, to trust that Light, and that one-day I was tobring the wisdom of the Ancestors and the Star people to the

world. They said I had to complete the mission of bringingthat light through myself into experiences that opened theheart, which I would then use as teaching tools to raiseconsciousness. What did they mean? Where were theguidelines?

What was I supposed to do with the awareness andsensitivity that had expanded my consciousness so rapidlythrough the work done with them? How could I control theintense Light that I constantly felt in my body? The visions

and insight were overwhelming. I had not been informed ofhow to direct the energy flow for healing in any specificformat. So, the only course to take would be to locateinformation from those cultures that had well establishedand documented formulas for Spiritual evolution based uponthe Chakra system.

I searched for answers through my mentor the late BridgetBate Tichenor, who directed me to re-read the English

translated ancient Sanskrit and Pali texts from her motherVera Bate Lombardis book collection that she had given tome in earlier years as pertained to my Kundalini awakeningexperiences with the Nahualli Spiritualists.

When it came to Mesoamerican spiritual history, Bridgetwould detail her knowledge; The Olmec civilization wasestablished by African Black colonists from Egypt that werethe founding fathers of Mesoamerican religion in the statesof Veracruz and Guerrero, Mexico. Very little is known of theOlmec by archaeologists, but the Indians of Veracruz carrytheir knowledge forward. The Black race existed throughoutthe Americas long before Columbuss arrival. This is evidentin the giant Olmec stone heads of Veracruz and in everyother Mesoamerican cultures statuary and pottery. Whenone studies Mesoamerican religion it is apparent that it has

an Egyptian foundation from resurrection theology to exactpyramid construction formulae.

The ancient Mayan culture evolved from the Olmec in the

city of Chichenitza, which is thousands of years older than19th and 20th Century archaeological dating. The greatempire had extended its influence to every part of the world, exercising great cultural power over many nations. Thename Maya and the vestiges of its language, art, religioncosmological, historical traditions from the ancient culture isdiscovered in many countries from America, Europe, Africa, and Asia.

There were many wise men from these distant and remote

parts of the world such as Egypt, Sumeria, and Atlantis, which came to Chichenitza to consult the H-menes andreceive spiritual training with Mystery School Solar Religionsinitiations pertaining to the Kinan or Spirit Body.Additionally, she felt that the Star people from the Pleiadesworked in tandem with these ancient colonists of theAmericas and guided their Sciences.

The name Maya always is attached to power and wisdom.

She pointed out the numerous bearded Caucasian men thatshe felt represented the Assyrians (Afghans of today) werecarved in stone formats of the Mayan Nation that extendedfrom Veracruz, Yucatan Peninsula, Oaxaca, and beyondGuatemala as far south as El Salvador/

Bridget exposed to me the similarities in the Sanskrit wordsKundalini and Chakra in relationship to the YucatanPeninsular Mayan dialect words Kultanlilni and Chacla, whichhave the same definition. She said the Mayan names for thefive lower charkas were 1. Root Botzo Earth, 2. Spleen Chuital Water, 3. Solar Plexus Wualanal Air, 4.Heart

Tun Fire, and 5.Throat Kilwatalabal - Either

Bridget related the initiations of Buddha and Kukulcan,Buddha Sakyamuni was bitten by a seven-headed cobra

serpent, Sakyamunis experience was parallel to the Mayanstory of Kukulcans initiation during his first incarnation withthe seven-headed rattlesnake serpent named Chapat in the

Yucatan. Buddha and Kukulcans initiations symbolized the

Kundalini awakening through the seven Chakras. The MayanKukulcan and Nahua Quetzalcoatl mythology representedthe Mesoamerican belief that humans are the integration ofthe seven forces of Solar Light within the Chakra system thatspiral as a rattlesnake serpent infinitely towards a solar, galactic, and universal connection with God.

Bridget discussed the founding deities of Mesoamerica,Quetzalcoatl for the Nahuas, Kukulcan for the Mayas, andGucumatz for the Quiche Mayas is the pre-emanate founding

deity of Mesoamerican creation mythology, which evolvedafter the Olmec civilization and approximately 10,000 yearsago at the time of Atlantiss destruction. Atlantis originallywas ruled by a Black race that held the sacred knowledge ofOrishas, which Osiris brought to Egypt in a pantheon of gods.

Quetzalcoatl, Kukulcan, or Gucumatz mysteriously appearedin Mesoamerica in several legends. The primary Eurocentriclegend was that he was as a tall, white skinned Caucasian,

blonde, blue-eyed, and bearded priest and anotherindigenous legend as a black man from an Atlantic motherculture continent in the East that had been destroyed byvolcanic eruptions called Tlapallan, Tollan, Atzlan, and Alua.Mesoamerican mythology states that he founded theMesoamerican religions, taught them the arts of divinationand civilization, and disappeared and reappeared in fiveworld successions through incarnations of him.

The name Quetzalcoatl originates from the Nahuatl words;Quetzal, a rare exotic bird of iridescent green color, andcoatl, serpent, which means plumed serpent Kukulcan withthe Mayas was represented as a serpent with two heads thatsymbolized Venus both as the morning and evening star, denoting Kukulkans faculties as a mediator between nightand day, good and evil, and as force facilitating

transcendence of opposites or dualities within humannature.

Bridget described Kundalini, The goal of the fiery Kundalini

as it makes its serpentine journey up the five lower Chakras,is to unit human polarities in the sixth center of the BrowChakra of man. Quetzalcoatls original teachings were that ofa wise and good ruler who taught the Ancient WisdomSchool principles of Chakra Science through the principles ofa microcosmic and macrocosmic universal view of Kundaliniin death and resurrection, sin and redemption, and thetransfiguration of a human into a God.

Bridget explained Quetzalcoatls arrival in the Americas,

Quetzalcoatl arrived from Atlantis with a group of colonistscalled Quetzales, who brought the advanced sciences andarts to the Americas. She said, The Aztecs theology andthe few remaining records distorted the representation ofthe original Nahua/Toltec, Maya, and Quiche mythology ofQuetzalcoatl in their declining civilizations before theSpanish Conquest, and lost the historical data ofQuetzalcoatls immigration to the Americas when latertranslated.

So, the Quetzalcoatl mythology evolved into one of thecreation myths by the Quiche Maya that are reflected in thePopul Vuh of the serpent-bird like dragons that were coveredwith green and blue feathers that were the gods of both thesea and the sky. Both Quetzalcoatl the man and the mythwere based in facts now lost through both the Mesoamericancivilizations decline before the advent of Spanishcolonization and through the colonizations destruction ofrecords.

Bridget continued, There were many Quetzalcoatlrepresentations throughout Mesoamerica, but the onespecifically that relates to Ancient Chakra Science and theKundalini principle of the regeneration and resurrection oflife force is called the Cobra de Capella, and Ac-la-Chapa,

which was the seven-headed Mayan Naga that is identical tothat of Asia. The seven heads represent the Seven Planes ofConsciousness, the Seven Chakras, the Seven Rays, andessentially that which encompasses the Kundalini principle

of all living forms. The Seven Headed Naga is carved innumerous Mayan, Toltec, Mixtec, Olmec, and Aztec sites, butit is prolific in Chichenitza where Mayan Kundalini Scienceflourished most recently during the Toltec reign of power.

One night at Bridget Tichenors ranch Contembo in Ario deRosales, Michoacan, Mexico in January 1971, Bridget relatedto me a story her mother Vera Arkwright Bate Lombardi hadtold her. Vera had a friend in Paris that she had met throughthe Rockefeller family, who was a French Archaeologist that

traveled to the Mexican state of Veracruz in 1920.

The archaeologist had been contracted by Standard OilCompany to work as a liaison with the Mexican governmentto investigate the Olmec sites that covered rich oil depositsbefore any oil drilling could begin. During this trip, a localIndian guide had informed the archaeologist of the existenceof the venomous Quetzalcoatl feathered flying serpent thatwas thought to be myth or extinct, but was said by the local

Indians to be very much a living creature.

Bridget said that Vera's friend had been diverted from hiswork with the oil drilling. He was taken on horseback, andthen in canoes up the mouth of a river that opened into theGulf of Mexico into the low mountains in search of placecalled Tulan-Zuiva or the Seven Sacred Caves. Mayanlegend spoke of Tulan Zuiva as being the first Atlanteandepositories of ancient records in the Americas byQuetzalcoatl. The fabled Tulan-Zuiva was to have been thefirst cave-temple of Quetzalcoatl and his priesthood, whichscholars have positioned to be either in Veracruz, Tabasco,Campeche, Yucatan, or Guatemala.

The expedition failed to discover the sacred caves, but it wason this trip that Bridget revealed the story of Vera's

    31

archaeologist friend seeing the Quetzalcoatl creature flyingvery low above their canoe on the river in the dawn hours.Bridget said Veras friend's description was that they saw abird-like creature with a strange combination of a head the

shape of Camarand bird that was spread out flat like a viperserpent. The neck was almost two feet long covered indense, short, brilliant, white, and tufted green-blueiridescent plume-like longer feathers.

The swan-shaped body had long broad wings with hand-likeclaws on the tips. Bridget said that Vera's friend describedthe animals neck retracting into a bizarre almost humancurvature when it landed on a low tree at the rivers edge. Itlooked like a bird with a large snake shaped head that

resembled both Egyptian and Chinese snake-headed deitiesand appeared more dragon-like than anything she coulddescribe.

Bridget had said that Veras archaeologist friend haddiscussed the story shortly after the sighting of theQuetzalcoatl animal to the British author Colonel JamesChurchward in New York, who later wrote in generalitiesabout the expedition and the Quetzalcoatl animal in his

    Sacred Symbols of Mu.

It was divine order that I had received my early spiritualtraining with Espiritualistas in Guerrero near the heart of anancient colony of Mu that Churchward had referenced withthe Naacal tablets discovered by William Niven in Rio de Oro,Placeres del Oro, Guerrero, Mexico.

My great teacher and friend Mexican artist Pedro Friedebergguided me simultaneously with Bridget through a labyrinthof esoterica that included the world of a profoundly learnedMystery School student, Edward James. Another Quetzalcoatlsighting was described to me in the 1970s by Bridgetscousin Edward James that took place circa 1949 near hishome Las Pozas close to the village of Xilitla in the jungledmountains of the Mexican state of San Luis Potosi five hours

Alexander Von Wuthenau had many similar stories thatsupposedly had occurred over many areas of tropical Mexicoand Central America in which people were bitten and diedinstantly. Alexander had meet Veras archaeologist friend inGermany at a museum in Berlin after the incident hadoccurred and later confirmed the story with Bridget inMexico. The elusive Quetzalcoatl is seen on extremely rareoccasions in the tropical zones of Mexico all the way toBolivia, but thought to be extinct by natives and a myth byscientists.

These great experiences throughout my field studies andapprenticeships in Mesoamerican Sacred Science werefulfilled quests that came form gifted teachers, whointroduced me to a rarefied world of spiritual knowledge.Every bit of knowledge that I gained involved a sheddingprocess that clearly identified my souls purpose. Theprocess was painful to my ego and involved great change tomy life that brought transformation with every step towards

    enlightenment.

THE CREATION OF THE RELAXATIA CODEXTM

Later, I established THE RELAXATIA CODEXTM in art andliterature from 1979 - 1984 to gain an exacting knowledge ofthe Solar Kundalini and psycho-spiritual phenomena I hadexperienced in Mexico, as I could not find a complete visualand literary Chakra color-coding documentation in existenceto compare my revelations. I found it necessary to paint andwrite this lost wisdom for future generations. THE RELAXATIACODEXTM has been the foundation for my paintings, books, animated film, web properties, and inventions. My Regla deOcha and IFA initiations occurred much later over 8 years inthe Caribbean and US.

    KUNDALINI

'Kundalini' is derived from the Sanskrit verb 'kund', which

means 'to burn', the verb 'kunda', which means a bowl or ahole, and the noun 'kundala', which means a coil, a spiral, ora ring. Out of all of these derivatives, the word 'Kundalini' isdeveloped giving creative femininity to 'the Fire', the latentsupreme source of a vast thermal energy not only in humanbeings, but also in every atom of the universe. It is the lifeforce of both the corporal and spirit forms. The mythologicalorigins of the Kundalini or the Serpent Fire, that literallymeans the 'life force' of Chakra Science, can be found in thecreation myths of East Indian, Mayan, Egyptian, and Yoruba

    history.

The creation myth in the first century BC East Indian"Manava-dharma-sastra" states, "The visible universe in thebeginning was nothing but darkness. The great, self-existingPower dispelled the darkness, and appeared in His entiresplendor. He first produced the waters; and on them movedNarayana, the divine spirit." The Hindu God Narayana is theNaga Serpent Dragon who embodies this divine essence

known as Kundalini. The Yoruba Orisha Oshumare is theRainbow Serpent, who connects heaven and earth. TheMayan God Kukulcan and Aztec God Quetzalcoatl are bothrepresentational of Kundalini.

    SOLAR KUNDALINI HISTORY

Ancient Egypt and Sind, India were colonies of Nubia-Ethiopia that founded the pre-historic Ancient MysterySchools in antiquity that later developed into the PharoanicEgyptian and Vedic religions, which gave birth to Hinduism,

Judaism, Buddhism, Christianity, and Islam. RELAXATIA isSolar Kundalini, a Spirit or Light Body ascension paradigm ofthe Chakra system, correlated to the Sun that originated inNubian-Ethiopian antiquity, which pre-dates the

Vedic/Tantric Hindu and Buddhist Kundalini philosophiesexisting in India and Tibet that do not incorporate solarapplications for Kundalini activation.

The Solar Kundalini born in Africa spread throughout the pre-historic world to create the great solar religions of Egypt,Babylonia, Peru, Mexico, Europe, Scandinavia, Polynesia, andAustralia. The constitution of the human spirit, the vital life-force along the human spinal cord (Sekhem in Egypt andKundalini in India), the psychic vortexes on the spinal cord(The Seven Uraeuses in Egypt and the Seven Chakras inIndia), the immortality of the soul, reincarnation and the lawof Cause and Effect were founded in the Nubia-Ethiopiacradle of civilization.

The RELAXATIA Solar Light Body Formula is supported by anumber of Ancient Kundalini/Chakra Sciences that weredocumented in Hindu Tantric scriptures that were derivedfrom the opposing Aryan/Indian Vedic Brahmin schools ofNorthern India. The edited Brahmin Vedic Kundaliniphilosophy was founded upon an original and completeKundalini model brought to the Dravidians (Nagas and

Tamils) in Sind, India from Abyssinia, Africa over 8,000 years

ago, predating the Aryan invasions of India.

The Aryans (Sumerians) conquered these tribes andassimilated their Kundalini knowledge. The 3,500-year-oldVedic Kundalini/Chakra oral lexicon, established later in the'Upanishads' literal texts of the Vedas in the 9th century BC,and then edited and coded visually in yantra formulae by

Tantric Schools in the 'Tantra Shastra,' has now dwindled forthe most part into a mainstream babble of partial, diluted, orunrelated folkloric 'New Age' or 'Self Help' Kundaliniphilosophies for mass consumerism.

The Kundalini and Chakra Science that has survived in textand visual formulae are small fragments of the originalEgyptian Solar Kundalini lexicon that only exists today inHindu Tantric and Buddhist documentation. Solar activation

of the Kundalini occurs through the Chakras or 'Cakras' inthe Physical and Spirit Bodies from an application of the lightspectrum generated by the Sun. Osiris, Moses, Jesus,Buddha, Kukulkan, Quetzalcoatl, Odudua, and many great

world avatars, teachers, and prophets were taught thissacred knowledge.

    WHAT DIFFERENTIATES THE RELAXATIA CODEX

My deepest concern in the documentation of my discovery ofa lost Kundalini lexicon was to provide a culturally absentblueprint with a set of tools for the student of ChakraScience to ground the Soul of the Spirit or Light Body known

at the ORI in the IFA of the Yoruba into the mind and PhysicalBody to become conscious here on Earth.

Most existing Kundalini and Chakra philosophies approachthe subject from a diversified Hindu approach, which isbased upon extrapolations from hundreds of sometimesopposing East Indian schools of Kundalini theory. This fact isreflective from the evolutionary divisions within Hinduism. Alarge amount of what exists in the commercial and publicly

accessible academic worlds in visual formats are not appliedwith specific color standards based upon ancient Vedicdesign and color-coding, so the student is left in perpetualconfusion as to what the Chakras really look like and whatmakes up their true color composition.

As an example, the Chakra color-coding of a good number ofcontemporary Chakra theories are completely wrong, asthese systems place the color ray that activates the Chakraas the color composition of the Chakra itself. This is a fallacyin many Chakra theories that gets lost in the translation orabbreviation from the original tenets of the Vedic and TantricHindu formats and is misguiding to the student. Herein, isone of the Chakra coding differentiations that are crystalclear in my discoveries revealed in THE RELAXATIA CODEXTM.

THE RELAXATIA CODEXTM Chakra and Ray visual/literarycodex with its secret keys to unlock and direct theapplication of the light spectrum of the Sun to activate theChakra's and Kundalini within both the Physical and Spiritual

bodies is non-existent in published theories.

THE RELAXATIA CODEXSTM approach provides a guideline forthe student to establish individuated identities, versusgeneralized and sometimes detached Nirvana ideals ofnaturally dualistic human identities, which are taught bymany teachers in both the Hindu Orthodox and BuddhistHeterodox Kundalini philosophies.

THE RELAXATIA CODEXSTM formulas can be aligned through

the time worn truths of light, color, sound, and form toawaken the human Spirit for its individuated divine purposeand fulfillment. The identification of each individual's raisond'etre is something that can only be based upon thepersonal human experience itself.

Through my spiritual guidance, I create radiant icons inpainting and film that are consecrated talismans executed ina meditative state that liberates the viewer from the rational

reactions of comprehension, evaluation, and appreciation. The effect is a state of rapture between the body, mind, soul, and the divine.

This epiphany encourages spiritual, mental, and physicalhealth, clearing the way to further growth andenlightenment. These talismans project the authenticcapacity to sit still in contemplation of beauty and focus, andare not for superficial decoration or collection. When onesmind and body relax, an individual has no choice but tobecome healthy.

My magical talismans represent the archetypes within thenature of the universe that are reflective in humankind andare prepared for definitive balancing purposes. The iconempowers the viewer with a specific focus of the imbedded

universal forces represented by the well-calculated design, colors, and symbols in the painting or film to establish thedesired harmonics to be attracted in Spirit, Mind, and Body.

    SPIRITISM

Spiritism is the practice of invoking the Dead specifically fordiagnostic and prescriptive purposes that are beneficial, along with the prioritization of spiritual evolution beingparamount. Spiritualism is the demonstration of 'spiritphenomena' by a medium to exhibit psychic abilities.

The French educator, author, and scientist Allan Kardec

developed Spiritism in Paris, France in 1857. Kardec wasdeeply influenced by the early 19th century Napoleonicexpeditions to Egypt and the subsequent PrussianEgyptologist Karl Richard Lepsiu's translation of the Egyptian"Book of the Dead" in 1842. There are specific guidelines inSpritism that follow the same ancient Egyptian MysterySchool teachings from "The Book of the Dead", which canproduce unparallel qualities in communications between theworld of spirits and the material world. Spiritism spread

throughout Europe, England, the United States, andinfluenced greatly Argentina, Brazil, Cuba, Mexico, andPuerto Rico.

Today, the majority of Brazilians, Cubans, and Puerto Ricansbelieve or practice some form of Spiritism. Spiritismmaintains that each human being is assigned a group ofenlightened spirits known as 'spirit guides' that act asguardians. Some spirits may be known, such as deceasedfamily members or friends, but many are previouslyunknown. There are spiritual levels that reflect degrees ofspiritual evolution and each spirit like each living person isuniquely positioned with a distinct mission and soul-progression. The highly evolved spirits can descend intolower planes, but the lower spirit entities cannot ascend intothe higher spheres. The guardian spirits or 'protectors'

require communication and offerings, as in the age-oldpractices of Ancestor Worship, to acquire help with bothhuman and spiritual problems.

    ANCESTOR WORSHIP

The goal of Ancestor Worship is to ensure the ancestors' andother spirits continued well being and positive dispositiontowards the living and to ask for special favors or assistance. For 97 percent of the world's population, ritual offerings andprayers to deceased blood relatives and other spirits are anintegral part of everyday life. Most people in the Westernworld were raised with Jewish and Christian traditions, which

prescribe Ancestor Worship and are skeptical of it.

Whereas, the majority of the world with people of Easterncultures such as Indians, Chinese, Japanese, Koreans,Vietnamese, and Tibetans, along with segments of thepopulations of South America, Africa, Cuba/Caribbean,Mexico, Indigenous US, Indonesia, Bali, Mongolia, Polynesia,Iceland, Eastern Baltics, and New Guinea seek guidancethrough their offerings of respect to their ancestors.

The dynamics and resulting energy in communication withthe world of Dead enables the knowledge that life is acontinuum and the sensory experience of the non-linear sideof reality. What is known as the Akashic records, allknowledge that has existed in the Universe, is accessedthrough the world of the Dead that exists in the ethericsphere of Akasha. This spiritual realm of Akasha is the fourthdimension above and adjacent to the physical thirddimension.

This close proximity of the spirits to humankind enablesclear communication with quick and powerfulmanifestations. The practice of Ancestor Worship is quitesimple. An honorary ritual of communication with the Dead iscomposed of two basic ingredients: respect and love.

REGLA DE OCHA AND IFA HISTORY

In 1996 I was drawn to the Bermuda Triangle vortex of MiamiBeach, Florida, where I purchased a home directly on theAtlantic in the heart of South Beach. For the spiritualisolationist or purest, one would find this locale to be theantithesis of a spiritual vortex.

The reality of the Miami Beach sand bar along the FloridaStraits is quite the opposite of its surface appearance. It is avortex of extreme polarities, and reflects the matrix of theindividual who enters it. It is a part of what once was

Atlantis. Good or bad character is amplified throughout thevortex. I witnessed many people die there and many whowere reborn.

For many years I had yearned to gain a deeperunderstanding universal law through animism, and receivedthe core levels of awareness I searched for on Miami Beachthrough the ocean Orisha Yemaya.

Through my Kundalini and Spiritism practices a whole newsensory-spiritual chapter in my life opened up with theOrishas through the Yoruba culture. I embarked on aninitiation process of becoming a Yoruba Orisha Priest ofObatala with Cuban Afro-Cuban Regla de Ocha Priests andIFA Babalows over a 12-year period.

The process I went through was much the same as myinvolvement with Chakra Science, which dealt with removingthe Diaspora nonsense and manipulation that had occurredwith IFA through some of the Santero Priests and Babalowscorruption with Catholic overlays, indigenous andeurocentric superstitions, along with the sad loss of originalsacred knowledge, practice, ritual, and initiation in Nigeria. Itreaded through the secrets, attached to fear, abuse, anddiscrimination elements that had developed with many

Nigerian, Afro-Cuban, and IFA priests to eventually find truth. In the end, the Orishas guided me through the firmestablishment of my ORI. I received over 30 Orisha initiationsin IFA and as an Afro-Cuban Regla de Ocha Priest of Obatala

in a period of 12 years that few Westerners ever receive oreven know about.

The Afro-Cuban Regla de Ocha theology was founded uponthe ancient 8,000-year-old monotheistic African Yorubareligion of IFA, and has been the New World repository of theWest African Yoruba Royal Priesthoods secrets andmysteries that was brought to Cuba from Nigeria beginningin 1515 AD for the Spanish colonial slave market.

IFA and Afro-Cuban Regla de Ocha are a non-linearphilosophies of enlightenment that are aligned with practicallinear applications set in motion with ethical standards, which prioritize the development of good character to fulfillhuman destiny.

A Western linear mindset of short-term fixes does not fit intoan IFA archetypal paradigm of long range thinking withindividuated life-balance in place to manifest health,

prosperity, and relationships with a co-generating purposefulintegration into society and the world at large.

Soul destiny is ascertained by a Babalow through the benefitof exacting divination methodologies and prescriptive for theORI (spirit body that rules the human mind, body, and soul),which involves ritual and sacrifice in order to create order, strength, balance, harmony, and inner peace in humanrelationship to the universe. When a person experiencesimbalance, he or she consults one of the oracles through aRegla de Ocha Priest or Babalow to find out the cause of theimbalance, and an appropriate remedy. This involves somesort of offering or sacrifice to the Ancestral Spriits or Orishaswith rudimentary advice to regain the lost balance.

There are three oracles derived from IFA.

    41

  • 7/23/2019 A Journey Into Ancient Mystery Schools - April 2011

    42/45

The first oracle of IFA is the OPELE chain with 8 two-sidedconcave medallions, which represent 256 octagrams of the256 Oddus, or sacred stories that a Babalawo reads with a

throw on the OPON IFA divination tray. The Babalawo obtainsa configuration that indicates which Oddu of the oracle of IFAis to be given to the inquirer. This is 100 % accurate.

The second oracle used by Regla de Ocha or Orisha Priests isthe caracoles or Mediloggun Oracle with 16 letras (Oddus)used by the Regla de Ocha Priest/Priestess, who have beeninitiated with Dillogun. This is very accurate, yet cannot becompared to the OPELE preformed by a Babalow. There areVERY few accurate Italeros known as Caracaleros or shell

    readers.

The third method used by Orisha Priests is the Cocunut OBIwith 5 possible answers. Anyone either initiated or not maycast the OBI, and is very accurate.

The true IFA and Afro-Cuban Regla de Ocha philosophy ofenlightenment is aligned with ethical standards and thedevelopment of good character to fulfill human destiny.

Destiny is ascertained through the benefit of exactingdivination methodologies and prescriptive that involves ritualand sacrifice in order to create strength, balance, harmony, and inner peace.

IFA and Afro-Cuban Regla de Ocha are initiatory culturesand their core evolutionary process are never written orrevealed; such experiential wisdom is only gained throughthe spiritual evolvement and awakening that occurs viastrategic stages of initiations. Such stages of awareness arefirst received, second felt, and third realized beforeexternal manifestations occur.

There is no such thing as simply believing or thinking insomething as a short term fix to manifest an optimum resultwithout a solid rational foundation. The power of such

    42

    43/45

positive thinking theory is only effective when the individualis clear of distortions, in integrity, and truly balanced withinthe context of truth relating to the potentials of theindividual.

Anything else is mental brainwash or wishful thinking, asthere are no shortcuts or secrets in spiritual evolution forlong-term fulfillment. Such practices are essential toestablishing a positive attitude or behavior, but are in noway a means to reaching a complete and sustainableobjective that is long term. There are rudimentary steps thatmust be achieved first to support such beliefs foractualization to occur from a solid and balanced template ofspirit, mind, and body. The IFA and Regla de Ocha initiates

are prohibited from converting others and honor all faiths; asto do so otherwise is considered taboo and disrespectful.

The study of the IFA and Afro-Cuban Regla de Ocha involvesthe use of the universal energies in the 'law of attraction'through specific rituals and procedures that involve definedsteps to identify a problem or good fortune within thecontext of IFA divination. Unlike Tarot, I Ching (derived fromIFA), Astrology, and other divining formats, IFA and Dillogun

divination informs what is to happen if nothing is done tochange a circumstance. Not only is the future foretold, butalso an opportunity to change it is prescribed with an exactapplication in a precise manner that targets an optimumresult.

IFA and Afro-Cuban Regla de Ocha are a 'feeling' relationshipwith a myriad of archetypes or forces within nature thatextend from one supreme God known as Orishas that isnonlinear, versus a 'thinking' relationship that is linear. Carl

Jung was one of the first Europeans to develop a parallelpsychological theory to that of the ancient Yoruba with hisdefinition of universal archetypes and applications to the egowith the its integration to the psyche in union, which resultsin true human individuation.

    43

    44/45

In general, it is only through the sensory experience of thefeeling and expression of positive energy disbursementarrived at through a connection with a specific archetype orOrisha that one can reach equilibrium with negative feelings

    or situations

When a human balance physical or material is achieved in ahopeless case it is called a miracle in the Western world. InIFA and Afro-Cuban Regla de Ocha it is through the use ofcommon sense with the application of specific universal lawsthat create stability, which allows life force to flowunobstructed.

The influx of Yoruba slaves, who carried the principles of IFA

in their entrapped lives, continued to be transported to theNew World by the British slave trade until the end of the late19th century. The majority of the Yoruba Ochossi sect wastransferred to Cuba from 1820 1849, removing the greatrepositories of Ifa secrets from Nigeria. While Brazil receivedvast numbers of Yoruba Priests as slaves, the Royal YorubaHigh Priests were sent to Cuba during the Ochossi sectmarket transference.

The Caribbean and Brazilian Yoruba slaves were forced tohide their Ancient Mystery School religion behind a mask ofCatholicism with Christian Saints synchronized to a pantheonof deities under one supreme God. Most African slaves thatarrived in the United States were spiritually raped of theiranimistic religions altogether by the intolerant rulingProtestant Church and government that had no saints toassimilate to or camouflage beliefs, forcing massiveChristian conversions. Louisiana was one exception in theUS, due to French and Spanish colonialism with itsCatholicism and racial integration. Many of the Lou
