Hosting your Big Blue Brew
Step 1: Organise the details of the day
Select a date and time, decide how you’re going
to meet online, and send out your e-invites to
your friends and family.
We’ve prepared a graphic that you can use as an
e-invite. You can download it on our webpage:
www.stlukeshospice.com/big-blue-brew. Feel
free to share it on your social media platforms,
or send it as a text/email along with all the
details of your day!

your event so that our Fundraising team can support you. You can contact the team

Step 2: Consider how you’d like guests to donate
There are online fundraising platforms, for example Justgiving.com or
VirginMoney.com, that enable you to create a bespoke page for your Virtual Big Blue
Brew event.
On your page you will be able to add the
details of the day and explain why you’ve
chosen to support St. Luke’s Hospice. You’ll
also be able to track your fundraising total
and work towards a target if you have one in
mind.
Alternatively, if you would prefer not to
create an online fundraising page, please ask
your guests to make a donation directly to
St. Luke’s Hospice via our own donation
webpage on our website:

There are many
platforms available to
help you can connect
virtually, for example
Zoom, Microsoft Teams,
WhatsApp Video calling
or FaceTime.
Step 3: Planning for the big day
Are you planning to decorate using
our poster? Will you encourage your
guests to display a Virtual Big Blue
Brew poster too? Will you make or
buy your sweet treats? Maybe you’ll
host a quick tea related trivia round?
Whatever you’re thinking,
preparation is key.
Get creative, and get the kids
involved!

please share them with us.
