The best way to describe us is as a global contractor.We use this term to capture in our own way the understanding of our business: design and build by integrating what is often called the “big picture”.

We view each project from a global perspective to manage all its phases, from land acquisition to the early months of occupancy.

“The Antibes store is located in the city centre, at the site of the Grand Hotel in the city of Antibes.The project features the installation of Monoprix in an old building and is managed by two principals. The first managed the restructuring of the building and the second took care of the interior. A complex project with access constraints and operational difficulties related to installation of work site in the city centre. The turnkey solution offered by GSE was quickly approved by Monoprix. A single contract with the participation of project manager of the lessor and project management of Monoprix has reduced the overall duration of project completion by three months, essential point in meeting our objectives of opening time. Despite the discoveries and disappointments encountered during construction, GSE met its commitments. Finally, this approach minimises the number of players involved thus simplifying the management and reducing the workload of the project manager.”

A real-estate project is subject to many uncertainties, such as those that delay the administrative permits or the signing of deeds and thus, the work starting date and, of course, the date of delivery.

The efficiency of industrial planning hardly satisfies the requirement of flexibility imposed. To bring together these two worlds, GSE undertakes a systematic project optimisation process and if necessary, proposes a provision of industrial space in advance of the delivery of the work to allow the installation process, completing many mandatory inspections and settings, or even, sometimes, start of operations.

Air Liquide, the world leader in the chemical industry, entrusted to GSE the design and construction of its first research and strategic development centre based in Shanghai, China.

This highly technical installation of approximately 19 000 m2 required great care in terms of optimization of interfaces between the process and the building, to have no possible conflict on its commissioning.GSE was selected for its architectural design which was the best, but also because of its proposals in terms of technical optimisations allowing Air Liquide to achieve an effective balance between its initial investment and operating costs.

Moreover, a strong emphasis was placed on the environmental impact of the project to target LEED Gold and two stars Chinese Certifications.

Becton DickinsonTatabanya - HungaryInjectable syringes plant.

The pharmaceutical company, Becton Dickinson entrusted GSE with the construction of a new production plant for injection syringes in Hungary.

Covering a floor area of 30 000 m2 floor, it allows the production of 500 million syringes per year. The project involves all aspects of knowledge of GSE and particularly its ability to carry out projects in the pharmaceutical sector. The project includes the completion of 5,000 m2 of clean rooms (grades C and D).
