lives through the implementation of our ideas
19
A selection of our work
20
A380 Certification
Airbus
Overall project management and delivery of checkstress programme over four years.
21
Armoured Vehicles Programme (AVP)
Airbus
Acquisition support to the MOD, helping them define and acquire the next generation of the Army’s Armoured Fighting Vehicles (AFV’s).
22
Biometric identification
Heathrow Airport
We’re enabling passengers to move quickly and securely through Heathrow airport through our development and implementation of sophisticated biometric technologies.
23
Lightweight Tube Doors
Transport for London
Design and engineering of new lightweight tube doors as part of the Government’s drive to promote innovation in the rail sector.
24
A400M ‘Atlas’
Airbus
Supported design, engineering and certification of the A400M Atlas.
Defence Imagery: Contains public sector information
licensed under the Open Government Licence v3.0.
25
Composite Tram Overhead Line System
Designed an award-winning tram overhead line system, which included strong and durable composite materials, that will bring savings of approximately £3.75million per km of track over a 10 year period.
26
Engineering advisory
National Composite Centre
Research and development, concept design and feasibility studies of advanced composite materials.
27
Cyber risk assessment
Confidential Client
We undertook a cyber risk assessment for a Government client to establish a realistic picture of their resilience and ability to respond to a serious cyber-attack. As a result, the client was able to identify their risk exposure and to develop an effective response strategy.
28
Security managed service
Confidential Client
We worked with a confidential client to develop a new managed service approach to security provision accredited in line with the UK Government security policy framework and standards. This increased their capabilities in information risk management and accreditation, improving the organisation’s security maturity.
29
Behavioural security assessment
DSTL
Atkins and UCL undertook research for DSTL into the relationship between people and cyber/information assurance. This led to a new paradigm in the way security systems, policies and procedures were developed and implemented across MOD.
