The cost of travelling to interviews can be an added stress when looking for work or training. Birmingham Careers Service is one of a number of organisations who are working together through Youth Promise Plus* to support young people onto their chosen career pathway. If you are aged 1619 (up to 25 with a learning difficulty or disability) we can supply you with a travel day ticket which will give you free travel within the West Midlands Travel Network on the day of an interview which has been arranged for a place in education, employment or training. Once you have found the right apprenticeship, training or job we can apply for a free four week travel pass which will allow you to travel to your new job or training. You can also use this pass if you make other journeys such as catching up with friends. We can also provide free travel information and journey planning.
