James 2:14-20
We are saved by grace through faith. • John 3:16: “For God so loved the world that He gave
His only begotten Son that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life”
• Ephesians 2:8-9: “For by grace you have been saved through faith and that not of yourselves. It is a gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast.”
• Romans 4:5: “Not to him who works but to him who believes on him who justifies the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness.”
• 2 Corinthians 13:5: “Examine yourselves as to whether you are in the faith. Test yourselves.”
A faith that doesn’t save is a faith that believes but doesn’t work.
Genuine faith results in works.
A faith that doesn’t save is a faith that hears but does not do.
