They will place great emphasis on looking at print and developing the concept of one-to-one matching to help students understand that print conveys meaning. Through the use of shared reading, big books, songs, poems, and charts that the entire class has studied your children will learn how to activate their reading “Super Powers”. The students will learn how to use “Pointer Power” as they read unfamiliar texts which highlights one- to-one matching, tapping each word just once, and checking that their reading makes sense. We look forward to watching the children use their super powers to become super readers! Taller de LecturaLos alumnos tomarán una nueva dirección en esta unidad, ellos aprenderán a usar diferentes recursos informativos (el significado, gramática, y el sonido de las letras). Pondrán énfasis al mirar la escritura y el desarrollo del concepto uno a uno para comparar y eso enseñará a los estudiantes que lo impreso tiene significado. A través de la práctica de compartir la lectura, libros grandes, canciones, poemas y ayudas visuales que la clase ha estudiado, sus hijos/as aprenderán como activar el “Súper Poder” de la lectura. Los estudiantes aprenderán a usar el “Poder de Señalar” a medida que ellos leen textos no conocidos los cuales son interesantes para juntarlos uno a uno, enfatizando cada palabra, y comprobando que la lectura tiene sentido. Esperamos mirar a los alumnos usando los súper poderes para convertirse en súper lectores!

En nuestro programa ÍVamos Matemáticas!, este mes los estudiantes de Kindergarten están aprendiendo como representar, contar, comparar y escribir números del 6 al 10. Los estudiantes practican contando objetos de uno en uno para contestar “¿cuantos”? Mientras los alumnos comienzan a entender que los números pueden ser representados en diferentes maneras, entonces ellos aprenden a comparar los números (lo mismo, más que, o menos que). _________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

Taller de EscrituraEste mes todo es acerca de cuentos. ÍÍTODOS AMAN

LOS CUENTOS!! Es sabido que los grandes contadores de cuentos han llegado a ser los mejores

escritores. Estaremos desarrollado las habilidades de los

estudiantes como contadores de cuentos así podrán tener experiencia en escribir historias. Es un tiempo emocionante durante el Taller de Escritura. Usted

puede ayudar en casa compartiendo historias/cuentos con su hijo/a. Deje volar su

imaginación.
