Weaving Techniques:Threads are first washed to remove any

chemicals, sun-dried, bleached, and then dried, and then dipped in boiling coloured water to dye them. The threads are wound

on bamboo drums to feed them into the loom for weaving. It takes 10 to 12 hours to

make one tant saree. The artist with soft designs is later suspended them on the

loom. And then the weaving begins.
