Community

Operation: Teen Book Drop

Yearly the library becomes involved in community events such as the Shoreline Parade, school job, volunteer resources, and health fairs, book talks and school visits. They work together on events with Social Services and the Parks and Recreation Departments to enrich community participation in library events.

During Operation Teen Book Drop, Rick and some local teens volunteered to deliver 600 teen books to donate to Children’s Hospital.
