Voigt arrives at theUniversity campus. Hisconnected app scans hisschedule and firstmeeting/class of the dayand directs him to thenearest physical parkingstructure. Smart camerasscan his license plate andface, and direct him to thefirst available facultyparking space.

The Connected App maps out a clearpath for Voigt to go from the parkingstructure to each of the landmarks/meeting points in his daily schedule.

A student requests ameeting with Voigtand Voigt accepts.The connected appdynamically adjustshis schedule anddirects him to theagreed-uponmeeting location The classroom experience

is dynamic and engagingfor the studentsparticipating, but just asengaging for those who arenot present. A telepresencestreaming platform allowsstudents who are not inattendance to activelyparticipate and followalong. As homework assignments flowin through the connectedblackboard, Voigt is able toquickly and seamlesslydistribute grading workloadamongst his teaching assistants

Voigt’s connectedgradebook identifiesstudents who arestruggling withperformance andattendance, and alertshim while sending outemails requesting officehours for individualizedattention

Smart Cameras recognizeVoigt and grant him accessinto the building and hisoffice.

As Voigt heads into his first class ofthe day, Outlook automatically syncswith his note-taking app and courseplanner to provide him with anagenda and lesson plan, which hereviews in the minutes before class

At the end of the day, Voigt’sapp notices there are nomore events on his calendarand suggests a departuretime from campus thataccounts for traffic.
