A CEO in Every Woman

CEO on expansion would read Chief Executive Officer and yes, there remains

certitude when you designate the same to every woman born on earth. Irrespective

of class, creed, religion, nationality, education or any other specificity, which indeed

would corner one’s innate potential and emotional freedom in this cynical world. To

call any person a CEO (chief executive officer) would demand the qualities of

leadership, communication skills, empathy, understanding, problem solving,

discipline, target-achieving, motivating etc. Planning, organizing, directing, staffing,

coordinating and the whole gamut of managerial functions would necessarily

demand a person like a CEO, who is quite capable enough of executing them. Let’s

draw a comparison between a CEO in an MNC (Multi National Company) along with

the common woman who would hesitantly whisper her so called low-profiled

designation as that of a housewife’s. The attributes taken for comparison here are

the functions, objectives in general of a CEO, juxtaposed with that of the common

woman.

CEO OF AN MNC

Foresees so many things, which would gather profit for the firm.

Should be aware of the competitors to have an upper edge and thus stay

unique.

Keeps an eye on the finances of the firm so as to reduce fiscal down falls.

By means of perks & incentives motivates her employees helping out the

smooth functioning of the firm.

Takes all steps to keep at bay internal conflicts so as to maintain discipline.

Could show the door to an employee who turns up to be a mismatch.

Conducts market research periodically in order to apprehend where her firm

stands and also to understand the expectations of the firm’s customers.

Keeps her products and services unique with the help of a strong R&D

department. Holds meetings looking for measures of improvisation.

Analyses pitfalls in business and takes suitable measures for recompense.

Other than anyone would be most delighted on her firm’s successful

performance.

Could be an autocrat, diplomat or a democrat as demanded by the

circumstance.

Would welcome tie-ups with other competent firms, choosing from amongst

the available alternatives.

Out of her hard earned effort, she would wait to enjoy the fruit of her sweat.

Is on her chair as a proud person, as long as the firm is alive and is paid

enough for what she does.

The Home Maker

She is so dedicated towards her family and foresees how her family should be

in years to come.

She is proud of her spouse and kids and would do whatever it takes to make

them stand one step ahead of all those around.

Page 2: A CEO in Every Woman

She is very particular about the money spend and makes it sure that her

family stores enough for rainy days.

She is so desperate seeking innovative ways to keep her family happy. It’s the

mother who is liberal when it comes to paying pocket money.

She also acts as a mediator between you and the family head.

She weeps, whines and screams if that is what it takes to find a solution to a

crux.

She has no other means but use the weapon of compromise and patience in

case things go worse.

She is a very true inquisitor starting from making the right choice of an

institution for her kid to choosing the most economical household.

She encourages, educates, inspires, and motivates her family by all possible

ways thus proving her to be the best R&D personnel.

She wouldn’t mind even disguising herself before the society in order to get a

hint so as to improvise her family life.

She is full of patience and understanding, the best counsellor to her spouse

and a very good advisor to her kids thus dwindling familial downturns.

She being the lamp of the house even shines more brightly on hearing the

feats of her husband and kids.

She is always ready with love and keeps on melting down as a candlelight

thus perfecting the beauty of the words – love & sacrifice.

She looks out for the best possible alliance for her kids analyzing each one

from a multifaceted perspective, choosing the best from the available

alternatives.

She finds immense happiness caring for her family and would even extend

her faculty of munificence to the third generation.

She would be glad enough having run the course of life thus far.

She is always glowing with a complacent smile, never demanding for what

she does, keeping the spirit of her family high up forever.

The inference I would arrive out of gumption, from the afore-mentioned would be

in favour of the common woman. Apart from the sophisticated office ambience

clubbed with the glorified designation of a CEO, the common woman who has

always been an embodiment of love, understanding, sacrifice etc. well deserves

a status always ahead of a company CEO. The common woman plans,

organizes, coordinates and directs her family like a guiding star accomplishing a

well preserved objective (happy family life), which for sure would be pampered for

many years and then built upon the rock firm foundation of true love. Even now,

she remains furtive under her veil, staying complacent with full of hopes and

inspiration adding on another golden feather to her crown of humbleness and

modesty.
