The traineeship is expected to last 2-3 years (including a 6 month trial period), and if successfully completed, you will be oered a position as a full time salesperson. Although other possibilities exist in Property Management, administration and client services. How will I learn? Training is a combination of “on the job” learning, in- house workshops, out sourced training and seminars, and industry mandatory professional development. Do I need to have a Real Estate Certicate? Yes, but we will help with that. The traineeship we are oering includes all the training and course information needed to work in the industry. We will cover the cost, you just have to supply the brain power, enthusiasm and the willingness to learn. What does a Sales trainee actually do? Lots of things! It’s one of the most diverse roles in real estate. estate salesperson learning how to productively and efficiently locate new clients is essential.

How will my performance be measured?Industry training will be provided by an external company, which will require completion of course work and assessments. This will include the required learning to be able to apply for your Real

Estate Certificate.Internally, we measure your performance by looking at your interactions with clients and team members, your enthusiasm for the job, and other key performance indicators that can be found on the full job description.

How much does the course and training material cost?Nelson Bay Real Estate will cover the cost of your course work. We may receive government assistance – but eligibility for this assistance is not a factor that is taken into account when we are hiring. Our focus

is finding the best person for the position.

What are the essential criteria for the role?• We are looking for an intelligent, enthusiastic person – that can strike up a conversation with anyone; and still

listen carefully to what they are saying as well.• An eagerness to learn. • A genuine interest in the real estate industry, and in other people.• Practical requirements: computer literacy and a current drivers license.
