Recently this presence has been enhanced with the 2010 debut of the Environmental SCENE news channel (http://pubs. acs.org/action/showNews?type=onlineNewsroom&journalCode= esthag), and with Virtual Issues including Biofuels available November 11, 2010 (http://pubs.acs.org/page/vi/2010/biofuels. html) and the Water Energy Nexus available June 13, 2011 (http:// pubs.acs.org/page/esthag/vi/1). Applications like ACS Mobile (http://pubs.acs.org/page/tools/acsmobile/index.html) for iPhone, iPad, and Android permit an ever broader number of ways to access the journal. Since October 2009, this space, rst as the ES&T Managing Editors Comment, and more recently as issue highlights, has aimed to draw readersattention to articles of interest, centering around the Feature article. Enter technology today, and the means for more ecient, eective, and real-time highlighting of content and issues related to the journal in a forum our readers can interact with.
