A Boy Meets Girl Story.Autumn/Winter sees Merc move into a romantic period in time. When gentlemen dressed up for dinner and ladies were treated to the best. Classic tailored jackets worn with statement shirts saw guys stand out from the crowd and evenings were used to impress. Signature Merc paisleys are reinvented and matured in new colour ways and geometric prints are brought to the forefront. Merc knitwear for Autumn/Winter is classic with a twist and rich plums and forest greens are introduced to the heritage collection.Moving away from the city to the English country retreat sees the parka redefined. Pea coats are given a military twist and classic suiting is offered in tweed. Shirting is refined with attention to detail and perfect to team with a classic Winston sta press or new slim corduroy trouser.Woman’s wear for Autumn/Winter is a larger offering than previously seen for Merc, growing as a brand sector each season. A-line skirts are offered in tweed with a matching blazer. Cropped knit cardigans come with cable knit, crochet or polka dot detailing and the classic Merc paisley print is seen in a dress silhouette.
