2 Summary SOCIFI is a well-established operating Sponsored Data Marketplace. Since 2014, we have provided WiFi

connection in over 67 countries. We have proven that data can be sponsored by big brands such as

Coca-Cola, Pepsi, Fanta, Microsoft, Uber as well as local brands. More than 51 million end-users enjoyed

free data thanks to our solution. Users interact with the sponsored content via the SOCIFI Engagement

Solution (SES) application and Software Development Kit (SDK) library.

The basic flow of the reward mechanism

Sponsors (advertisers) deliver sponsored

messages (ads)

Subscribers engage with the sponsored

content

Subscribers obtains the rewards: sponsored

data

Happy subscribers, happy sponsor

(advertiser)

We aim to lead the world-wide market of sponsored data. We have unique experience, expertise and

partnerships. We need your participation and the blockchain technology to scale up.

SOCIFI will issue 5,000,000,000 GIF tokens, 61% of which will be offered to the TGE (Token Generation

Event) participants. All the proceeds from this public contribution will be used for business expansion

only.

Using blockchain for all our transactions will lower the operational costs, increase the speed of

transactions, creates open transparent and fair marketplace, democratizes value distribution and

narrow the relationship between advertisers, network providers and subscribers. The GIF tokens will be

the platform’s currency of choice.

6 Industry Overview

6.1 The Hunger for Mobile Data

Digital marketing spending trends in the US and globally offer valuable insight into the industry today.

One encouraging finding is Forrester Research’s forecast that digital marketing spending will continue to

rise through 2019. The similar situation is on the market with Mobile Data. The demand for Mobile Data

will continue rise rapidly through 2021.

A Parks Associates industry report [8] estimates global mobile data revenue will increase from $386 billion in 2015 to $630 billion in 2020. SOCIFI Marketplace is a solution where the media content is sponsored thru a digital advertising. Digital Advertising revenue was $229.25 billion in 2017 and it would grow to $335.5 billion by 2020. (Reference: https://www.statista.com) We are fully aware of the fact that this business is specific and that you, as a potential token buyer, must have many uncertainties regarding our business and product. Therefore we have come up with a simple Problem-Solution approach to address such questions.

The Problem: Are people even interested in Sponsored Data?

SOCIFI Solution: Absolutely. We know this for a fact from our experience because we have been

in the Sponsored WiFi market since 2014.

Furthermore, in the Syniverse research [9] almost two-thirds of Asian smartphone users (62%)

were willing to accept sponsored data packages in return for free data access. This, in turn,

leads to 40% increase in data usage! This data was then extrapolated (with the help of

economists at SEEC) only to find a $6 billion revenue opportunity for operators and their

partners by 2019.

6.2 Current Solutions

There are a few competitors in this industry with a different approach. Competitors' solutions are not

focused on subscribers engagement on daily basis at all. The second key difference is non-existence of

an open Marketplace where any approved Sponsor/Advertiser can join and target its audience.

The Data Perks by AT&T and Aquto

The WowBox by Telenor. (https://play.google.com)

6.3 SOCIFI Solution and the role of a public ledger

Similarly to Facebook, and their project Internet.org, we also believe that everyone should be able to

access the internet regardless of personal wealth. Personal data and attention have measurable value in

the 21st century. The SOCIFI platform allows everyone to pay for their data with their attention time.

Our subscribers engage with sponsored content, and in return they earn the GIF tokens. One of the

functions of the GIF token will be purchasing mobile data through our platform. Alternatively, the user

can also choose the purchase services and products via our marketplace. On the other hand, the same

GIF tokens will be used for buying media space from advertisers (sponsors). Thus, it is required to:

1. Have a marketplace with a fair revenue split distribution between advertisers and publishers

without a middle-man.

2. Have a strategy for staying competitive with major ad marketplaces such as Facebook, Google.

In order to meet the first condition, we developed an online marketplace for advertisers (sponsors) to

connect with publishers - Mobile Network Operators (MNOs) or other players.

Page 18 of 55 © 2017-2018 SOCIFI | Buy Tokens at: gif.network |More info: White Paper | SES Playbook | Product Pager

Page 19: A Bl o c k c h a i n E c o s y s t e m - coinwoot.com€¦ · Q2 2 0 1 5 Launch of Sponsored Data on WiFi technology Connect API 2.0 release ZyXEL, Cisco WLC, Cisco Meraki Compatibility

The Problem: Current Programmatic Share Split Is Not Sustainable.

An IAB study [10] from 2015 revealed that less than half (45%) of programmatic revenues in the

US reached publishers.

This means the middle-men and commissions cut a lot into the revenue stream and the current

solutions and media markers are not resistant to this unfair split distribution. This leads into

mobile data sponsorship stagnation. The second reason is the need of communication formats

and user experience flow, which is not annoying.

SOCIFI solution: SOCIFI has decided not to use existing RTB exchanges, but rather to develop

our own marketplace. Through our unique communication platform we connect sponsors,

publishers and users. Via the blockchain’s public ledger, the distribution split is fully

transparent. SOCIFI publishes the amount of the ad spending, which is collected to keep the

marketplace in shape and sustainable. The sales channel is direct with no middle-man or a

chain cutting the price.

The higher revenue SOCIFI marketplace can generate, the higher amount of sponsored mobile

data the user can get from the publisher. This will help to bring affordable mobile data to users.

It allows communication, increases access to the education and sets a new standard for

sustainable, scalable mobile data sponsorship market.

The Problem: Transparency and Fair economy

Marketplaces and similar two-sided platforms tend to hide their fees. The economy is not

transparent, and marketplaces are driven by a decision of a single strong company.

SOCIFI Solution: Thanks to the blockchain, the transactions are transparent, and sponsors can

see how much revenue reached the publisher's and subscriber's wallets and what the

transaction fees for the platform and media agencies are. The SES reward engine will initially be

administered by the GIF Foundation. However, over time, it will be decentralized based on the

smart contract technology.

To meet the second condition, we developed an SDK that works on Android. An iOS version will be

developed in the near future; however, our main focus is on the most-used devices in targeted

locations, and these are Android-powered.

We call this SDK the SOCIFI engagement solution (SES). The SES was designed with a strong focus on

UX/UI (user experience/user interface) with the goal to bring unique solution that is closer to

communication on social networks than to traditional digital advertising.

Page 19 of 55 © 2017-2018 SOCIFI | Buy Tokens at: gif.network |More info: White Paper | SES Playbook | Product Pager

Page 20: A Bl o c k c h a i n E c o s y s t e m - coinwoot.com€¦ · Q2 2 0 1 5 Launch of Sponsored Data on WiFi technology Connect API 2.0 release ZyXEL, Cisco WLC, Cisco Meraki Compatibility

It allows us to deliver more sponsored messages within one session. As a result we can offer competitive

prices to major players such as Google or Facebook.

The Problem: Ad-Based Solutions Are Annoying

Isn’t any ad-based-only solution annoying? Can it generate long-term user satisfaction and

loyalty? Are you developing an ad-based-only application?

SOCIFI Solution: As mentioned above, SOCIFI is a digital media agency spin-off. Thus, we have a

deep knowledge of the media market. We also have the experience from our current WiFi &

Captive Portal on how to engage with the end-customer and fulfill the needs of the publisher

and sponsor.

The key is to mold advertising into a social media communication platform. The user is not just

bombarded with ads but can read and interact with the latest news, events and regional

content. The UX/UI for the user is designed to keep the user eager to use our application on a

daily basis. For detailed proof please see SOCIFI Playbook at http://bit.ly/2pX2vru

SOCIFI works with Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA.gov) in the United States of

America and uses IPAWS (Integrated Public Alert & Warning System) to warn citizens and

tourists about weather alerts, kidnapped children or any other risks (http://bit.ly/2ysTwmU).

We will implement Public Alert & Warning System technology in order to provide a better public

safety for all markets in which SOCIFI is used.

The rewards system has implemented a gamification mechanism that encourages the

subscribers to explore sponsored content every day and to build a stronger relationship with the

marketplace. We think it is fair to issue coins stepwise depending on the everyday involvement

of a user.

The Problem: Complexity of the solution

The whole ecosystem has to be created and/or deployed. The challenges include, but are not

limited to: scalability, marketplace, bidding, targeting, profiling, telco integration, media

agencies integration, app penetration, content creation and lead generation. When will it be

ready a technical and business perspective?

SOCIFI Solution: The crucial product parts (SDK, backend services, reward system, analytics and

cloud dashboard) are fully developed and are ready to go on the market.

We have more than 10 years of “in-field” experience. SOCIFI started as a spin-off from our

digital media agency PositiveZero.co.uk which was established in 2006. We have been

The Problem: The application penetration issue & cost per install

The expected approach would be to implement SDK into an existing app to reduce cost per

install (CPI) for quick market entry. When a brand-new app will be used, how do you want to

solve the penetration issue?

SOCIFI Solution: The brand-new app with integrated SOCIFI engagement solution (SES) SDK is

provided by SOCIFI. The reward system is set in place to attract people to install the app and use

it on a daily basis. There are several ways for people to earn their sponsored data:

● Mobile app installation

● Referral program

● Additional earning opportunities are provided by local and global startups and senior

companies

● Receiving sponsored data from a friend (peer-to-peer data gifting)

● Engagement with sponsored content

The controlled roll-out gives us the power to launch experiments and find for each market an

optimal balance between end-user engagement and satisfaction on one side and performance

of the platform for advertisers (sponsors) and publishers on the second side.

1. Pilot counts with a specific group of end users to test the system prior to its full

deployment in order to get feedback.

2. Private beta testing with a limited number of invitations to test the entire user

environment.

3. Phased roll-out comes at last in the development cycle.

4. The SOCIFI engagement solution SDK and an example of white labeled app will be

released under an open-source license on GitHub. This allows other parties to start

using sponsored data solutions or to sponsor other services.

5. The white labeled app will be adjusted for WiFi connectivity and provided to existing

SOCIFI and any other WiFi providers.

The Problem: The Network Neutrality Problem

Is Sponsored Data the newest, biggest threat to net neutrality?

SOCIFI Solution: No, this is not so, nor is it our intention. Our intention is to sponsor as much

possible mobile traffic and to respect network neutrality. SOCIFI Engagement Solution has the

ability to sponsor not only specific traffic and/or application itself but also generic traffic

without limiting the user to use a specific app for data consumption. No other solution has such

an approach to network neutrality as ours.

7 SOCIFI: Ecosystem, Application, Marketplace

7.1 The overview

In the following chart you can see the marketplace ecosystem and the rewards gifting flow. The blue

parts of the marketplace ecosystem are already developed.

Page 23 of 55 © 2017-2018 SOCIFI | Buy Tokens at: gif.network |More info: White Paper | SES Playbook | Product Pager

There are 4 key roles defined:

● Marketplace Provider

● Publisher

● Media Agency/Media Agent

● Advertiser/Sponsor

The publisher is the MNO, VMNO or rewards app publisher who provides a space where the

marketplace is implemented. The publisher enables end-users to see the content through the

marketplace ecosystem.

The media agency or media agent monetizes the marketplace by generating interesting content, adding

relevant brands (sponsors) and promoting products and services.

The sponsor is a brand owner who seeks end-users to engage with and to provide them with fresh

offers, sales opportunities and interesting news from fashion, technology, sport, leisure, events and

more.

Subscribers earn sponsored data (or other sponsored product or services in future) through engagement

with sponsored content.

SOCIFI drives the communication between all parties to make sure the project is moving constantly

forward. The Marketplace provider secures the publisher, media agency/agent and first sponsors.

The Problem: Are Mobile Network Operators (MNOs) motivated to pursue these new models?

The revenue from SMS and voice per user is declining and Mobile Network Operators

(MNO’s)/virtual MNOs are actively looking for new solutions to keep their networks profitable

and to build faster and more robust networks.

Ad sponsored data is one of those ways the carriers want to use for that purpose. However,

MNOs can behave at times like gatekeepers and do not understand the content marketing

business per se. They are as a rule not willing to take the risk to launch such a platform by

themselves as they have no experience in the marketplace or their experience is very limited.

The approval process and planning stages take a long time for such large corporations.

SOCIFI Solution: Own transparent marketplace. This MNO issue creates the opportunity for

innovative companies such as SOCIFI to take care of the whole process and use a carrier’s

infrastructure to come up with a reasonable and sustainable offer for the entire ecosystem =

marketplace.

Our Marketplace, white labeled app and SOCIFI’s open-source SDKs will be available to use to

quickly penetrate the market.

To enter the two-sided market and to fill both gaps, publishers and advertisers (sponsors), is a

time-consuming process. To succeed, we decided for a faster approach and cut the two-sided

marketplace into a one-sided marketplace. More at #How Will You Solve Chicken and Egg

Problem?

7.2 SOCIFI Engagement Solution (SES)

The SES experience is closer to communication on social networks than to traditional digital advertising.

This allows us to deliver more sponsored messages within one session. More sponsored messages within

one user’s sessions equals higher revenue generated per user equals higher amount of sponsored data

provided to user. A side effect is the lower cost of the single sponsored message. In addition to the

smart UX/UI, the reward system has implemented a gamification effect that encourages subscribers to

explore sponsored content each day and build a stronger relationship with the sponsors

Page 25 of 55 © 2017-2018 SOCIFI | Buy Tokens at: gif.network |More info: White Paper | SES Playbook | Product Pager

Page 26: A Bl o c k c h a i n E c o s y s t e m - coinwoot.com€¦ · Q2 2 0 1 5 Launch of Sponsored Data on WiFi technology Connect API 2.0 release ZyXEL, Cisco WLC, Cisco Meraki Compatibility

Selecting Sponsors by Subscribers In this example, you can see how a user can browse through the sponsors (advertisers) to explore some of them.

The user browses through the content by simply swiping left. The platform learns about user’s preferences. Users gradually receive content tailored to their interests. Once the user sees a sponsor he is interested in he can swipe up or click on the main button. The user can then continue to swipe the primary and non-primary messages of that sponsor.

Browsing Sponsor's Content

Every Message has its own price that varies based on location and the sponsor's brand strength. The sponsor sets the price for every message. The primary message has a higher price to ensure its delivery. The non-primary messages follow.

Page 26 of 55 © 2017-2018 SOCIFI | Buy Tokens at: gif.network |More info: White Paper | SES Playbook | Product Pager

Page 27: A Bl o c k c h a i n E c o s y s t e m - coinwoot.com€¦ · Q2 2 0 1 5 Launch of Sponsored Data on WiFi technology Connect API 2.0 release ZyXEL, Cisco WLC, Cisco Meraki Compatibility

To achieve the desired reward amount, the app provider defines the minimal message price floor under which no message will be delivered. Each sponsor must have at least one message with a price higher than the price floor to be listed in the sponsor’s list.

Each advertiser (sponsor) has the option to have one or multiple profiles with one or more sponsored messages under each profile. Sponsored content is targeted by the Subscriber’s personal preferences and by targeting options. Users receive content that is in line with them personally. The advertiser (sponsor) shares news, offers and ideas, including those that are not his own. The idea is to educate, inform, and delight. Hence, 80% of sponsored posts can be adding value and brand awareness for the sponsors. The remaining 20% of the sponsor’s posts can, for example, be used for self-promotion, endorsing products, upcoming events and others. The amount of the rewards (sponsored data) depends on the scoring function, which relies on the

person’s activity: passing through social media authentication, mobile data usage, inviting friends, daily,

weekly and monthly activity.

The Problem: How do you attract local media agencies and advertisers (sponsors)?

SOCIFI Solution: We developed self-care tools. Any advertiser can start his own campaign

within few minutes. In addition, budgets for major advertisers are often operated by media

agencies. Thus, we rely on close cooperation with local media agencies, providing them with the

tools they need to fully manage their campaigns.

New source of revenue: The media agency gets a stake from the share from the ad spending.

Thanks to the blockchain, the transactions are transparent, and sponsors can see how much

revenue reached the addressee and what the transaction fees of platform and media agencies

are.

The Problem: The advertiser's media budget is already allocated

Many advertisers/sponsors have budgeting prepared months in advance. Others are not

‘tech-savvy’. How do you want to convince them and get them on board?

SOCIFI Solution: The roll-out of the platform will be phased. Cooperating media agencies will be

provided with promoted media packages to attract the early adopters (sponsors) with a

discounted price. With other agencies we will take a more phased approach, so that they can

cooperate with us too.

Examples of Google vouchers, which Google sent out. Millions of AdWords vouchers were sent to website owners across all industries to encourage them to try out their advertising platform.

SOCIFI Marketplace media space will be attractive to small media agencies of any size because of SES capabilities and target audience. As SES pricing is fully transparent, the media agency is able to get a reasonable commission when selling the media space to sponsors and advertisers. Proven results of SOCIFI WiFi Marketplace provide sponsors and advertisers with an outstanding user engagement, share of voice and guaranteed delivery. There is no other platform like SES on the market.

SOCIFI has contacted Media Agencies in countries where we are launching SES after the TGE and the media agencies are eager to start with offering our new media space to local and global sponsors and advertisers.

8 Business Model

8.1 Ecosystem Onboarding Process

The business model is based on the amount of data SOCIFI can purchase in advance with discounted

price due to a bulk order. With such data assets, the marketplace provider can offer unique media space

for sponsors (advertisers) who do not need to pay an end-user data price as they would if they were

buying the media space directly in smaller amounts. The more data is bought, the higher discount is

possible and the better deal might be offered to sponsors and end-users.

The Marketplace provider identifies the first sponsor (advertiser) which is a locally well-known company.

We call these companies “Love Brands”. This Brand owner gets a special benefit to be the first on local

market to provide the users with sponsored data and its commitment can be used to aboard

appropriate Media Agency or Media Agent. A Media Kit has to be prepared to make the media agency or

Media Agent understand how the traffic will look like and which brands should be invited to participate

on this revolutionary project.

The marketplace is filled with local and relevant content for the end-users as well as with news, offers

and emergency alerts.

Once the marketplace is fully loaded, the onboarding phase is initiated. The publisher announces the

availability of such marketplace to pre-selected users to join. After feedback is obtained and potential

issues are fixed, the public announcement is released and anyone (end-users) can join the solution in

order the get sponsored Data, Rewards, special discounts offers and news.

The solution is ready; what is next? Building a successful two-sided marketplace is not easy. For us, it

means convincing people from the publisher’s (MNO’s) and advertiser’s (sponsor’s) side to solve the

chicken and egg problem.

What is our strategy? Our intention is to pre-buy a sufficient amount of mobile data from

MNOs/VMNOs. This will give us a quantity discount on mobile data, reduce the sponsorship costs and

transform the two-sided business to being one-sided. It also gives us the power to manage the process

and do it right. It places us in the position of virtual network operator.

Where do we start? We pre-selected several countries where we cooperate with local MNOs, media

agencies (which buy the media space for large advertisers), brands (advertisers/sponsors) and partners

to achieve this. We are already working in pre-selected countries to successfully launch our foundation.

Page 31 of 55 © 2017-2018 SOCIFI | Buy Tokens at: gif.network |More info: White Paper | SES Playbook | Product Pager

Page 32: A Bl o c k c h a i n E c o s y s t e m - coinwoot.com€¦ · Q2 2 0 1 5 Launch of Sponsored Data on WiFi technology Connect API 2.0 release ZyXEL, Cisco WLC, Cisco Meraki Compatibility

Pre-selected countries have several factors in common which help to successfully penetrate the market,

and based on the final raised investments we will start or increase our Sponsored Data services in those

markets where the profits are highest, and where we can impact the market most positive. The major

OTT players, such as Google and Facebook, do not provide local media agencies with attractive shares

due to their global positions. The online ad spending in the local market is growing, and the market is

still not saturated.

The Problem: How Will You Solve the Chicken and Egg Problem?

Every two-sided marketplace requires a chicken and egg problem to be resolved. How do you

want to handle this situation?

SOCIFI Solution: To successfully pass this challenge, we pre-selected countries where we invest

in significant pre-bought mobile data to create an as high as possible difference between the

current mobile data market price and the price for SOCIFI for that same mobile data.

We want to enter the sponsored mobile data program in pre-selected countries through

significant investment in a market significant quantity of Mobile Data. It gives us a quantity

discount on mobile data, significantly reduces sponsorship cost and transforms an originally

two-sided business to being a one-sided one. The mobile network operator’s role is to provide

the mobile data at this situation. Then, coordinating our steps with Tata Communication helps

us to open the sponsored data exchange faster.

Profit Generation Example

9 Introducing GIF Token and the Token Sale SOCIFI devises a creation of a new cryptocurrency GIF (the name is derived from data/rewards GIFting)

and plans to connect it to its existing ecosystems by integrating GIF into the SOCIFI Engagement Solution

(SES) Marketplace. SES is a solution for providing sponsored data and a marketplace for publishers and

sponsors (advertisers), and GIF will be its primary and preferred currency.

Subscribers earn GIF when engaged with sponsored content, and this new digital currency is then used

for buying sponsored data or other sponsored products or services on one side and for buying media

space on the other side. This gives the new currency its fundamental value and helps to establish an

economy around the sponsored data community.

GIF stands in the middle of the SES digital economy, enhancing enquiries for sponsored content and

escalating its value. The new digital economy is boosted by the SES Reward Engine, catapulting the

system above the average and creating demand for daily life.

Every transaction and advertisement spent will be transparent, auditable and fully secured. SES will be

initially administered by SOCIFI. According to the RoadMap, in Q1 2019, SES will become decentralized

on blockchain smart contract technology. Such development will be achieved if ethereum blockchain will

be capable of transacting the amount of requests (e.g. thru sharding).

9.1 GIF Token

A total of 5,000,000,000 GIF Tokens will be issued. Of those, 61% will be sold in the TGE and 39% will

remain with SOCIFI. The goal of the TGE is to raise 26,127,734 USD. Token buyers will receive 10,313 GIF

for every 100 USD spent.

Page 37 of 55 © 2017-2018 SOCIFI | Buy Tokens at: gif.network |More info: White Paper | SES Playbook | Product Pager

9.1.1 Utility function 1: GIF as currency in the SES Marketplace

GIF Tokens will be the primary and preferred currency on the SOCIFI Engagement Solution (SES)

Marketplace. In Q2 2018 GIF will be the preferred currency used on the Marketplace. When GIF is used,

the buyer will receive bonuses for Marketplace usage. GIF will be used to purchase services from SOCIFI,

affiliated companies and to reward users for interacting with the sponsored content.

9.1.2 Utility function 2: Rewarding active sponsors with airdrops of GIF

SOCIFI will increase user adoption of the SES Marketplace by airdropping GIF to active and potential

users. An airdrop means that a certain amount of tokens is distributed to the users of the marketplace.

Airdropped GIF will be restricted to only be used to purchase services on the SES Marketplace

functioning as a voucher. These vouchers will have an expiration date and the smart contract will ensure

that if not used, the GIF Tokens will be sent back to SOCIFI to be airdropped again.

At first, SOCIFI will use GIF Tokens allocated to SOCIFI (as explained below) for airdropping. When GIF

Tokens allocated to airdropping are spent, SOCIFI will buy GIF Tokens on the market. These GIF Tokens

will then be used for airdropping and therefore temporarily withdrawn from circulating supply.

9.2 Use of GIF Tokens

A total of 5,000,000,000 GIF will be issued. 3,050,000,000 GIF (61% of Total Supply) will be sold to Token

Buyers in the TGE. 1,950,000,000 GIF (39% of Total Supply) will remain in SOCIFI and will be divided

between SOCIFI Ops, GIF Foundation and SOCIFI company itself.

9.2.1 GIF allocated to SOCIFI Ops

550,000,000 GIF (11% of Total Supply) will be allocated to SOCIFI Ops to provide operational support for

all relevant parties.

These GIF Tokens will be locked immediately after they are issued and allocated to respective wallets.

Unlocking of these GIF Tokens will be carried out according to this model:

5% of GIF (27,500,000 GIF) 1 month after the end of the TGE

20% of GIF (110,000,000 GIF) 6 months after the end of the TGE

30% of GIF (165,000,000 GIF) 9 months after the end of the TGE

45% of GIF (247,500,000 GIF) 12 months after the end of the TGE

9.2.2 GIF allocated to the GIF Foundation

1,100,000,000 GIF (22% of Total Supply) will be allocated to the GIF Foundation. These GIF will be used

to finance GIF Foundation activities, governance goals, research goals and development goals, and also

to secure cooperation with our advisors on the strategic growth of the GIF ecosystem.

45% of GIF (495,000,000 GIF) 12 months after the end of the TGE

9.2.4 GIF allocated to SOCIFI

300,000,000 GIF (6% of Total Supply) will be allocated to SOCIFI. SOCIFI allocation of its own GIF Tokens

will be used for three purposes:

Marketplace & Reward Engine Core Tech:

Every transaction and advertisement spent will be transparent, auditable and fully secured. SES will be

initially administered by SOCIFI. According to the RoadMap, in Q1 2019, SES will become decentralized

on blockchain smart contract technology. Such development will be achieved if ethereum blockchain will

be capable of transacting the amount of requests (e.g. thru sharding).

Marketing, Brand Awareness & Market Kickstart:

Part of the GIF Tokens will be used to attract new and potential advertisers/sponsors, media agencies,

content creators and ambassadors on local markets and to cover marketing expenses on local market

media. It’s a very similar model as the one Google used when they started their now-famous advertising

platforms (Google AdSense/AdWords). For them, the Token will function as a voucher to purchase

SOCIFI services with a discount of up to 100%.

These complimentary GIF tokens will allow the sponsor to jump into the ecosystem without barriers

once it is established. The sponsor can move part of their Ad spending into the GIF market to promote

the brand. When the sponsor takes in such a functional and well-performing media ecosystem, the

sponsor wants to continue, and the GIF’s value is likely to grow. It is important to show the value of such

an ecosystem as this is a completely new approach to mobile data.

Operation cost:

A portion of rewards will be allocated to internally fund ongoing operational, legal, security and

development costs.

These GIF Tokens will be locked. Unlocking of these GIF Tokens will be carried out in accordance with

this model:

50% of GIF (150,000,000 GIF) 12 months after the end of the TGE

9.2.5 GIF allocated to Token Buyers

3,050,000,000 GIF (61% of Total Supply) will be sold in the TGE. The goal of the TGE is to raise a total of

26,127,734 USD (the Hard Cap). The TGE consists of Pre-sale and Crowd sale. In the Pre-sale, whitelisted

token buyers will be given the opportunity to purchase GIF with a significant discount.

Phase % of Tokens

# of Tokens GIF Token price Total raised Real discount

Pre-sale 24.5% 1,015,447,128 $0,00630263 $6,399,988 35%

Crowd sale 75.5% 2,034,552,872 $0,00969635 $19,727,746 0%

GIF Tokens purchased in the Pre-sale will be locked after they are issued and allocated to respective

wallets of the Token buyers. Locking period for those GIF Tokens will be 6 months after the end of the

TGE.

9.3 Use of funds

Funds gained in the TGE will be allocated to the following areas as follows:

9.3.1 Bulk Mobile Data

A major part of the funds gained will be allocated to the investment into significant

pre-buying/pre-purchases of mobile data to create a significant difference between actual mobile data

market prices and the SOCIFI mobile data price per individual market. Projected amounts for different

markets are:

9.3.2 Other expenses

51% of the funds gained will be used for further development of the SES Marketplace and the GIF

ecosystem, either on core development, user experience development, infrastructure, security,

marketing, operations and legal issues. Funds allocation is subject to change for providing flexibility.

SOCIFI will use best practices on funds allocation and its own discretion.

9.4 TGE Details

Token name Gift token (GIF)

What does this token represent?

GIF represents the value of sponsorship (data/reward gifts) and the tool that advertisers (sponsors) can use to obtain media space and/or SOCIFI products and services, and which will be used to transform the reward to end-users (subscribers) and peer to peer data gifting (one user can send a specific amount of data to another as a gift).

Implementation GIF Tokens will be implemented on the public Ethereum blockchain as an ERC20 token.

It usually takes no more than 60 minutes. In case you do not receive your tokens within 60 minutes after the transactions i confirmed, please contact SOCIFI team via chat.

9.6 Security

We follow the Ethereum Smart Contract Best Practices

(https://consensys.github.io/smart-contract-best-practices/software_engineering/#contract-rollout+) to

ensure Token security.

A Bug Bounty program is opened to reward the security researchers who report issues to us, and to

encourage more people to help us keep SOCIFI’s GIF fully safe and secure.

9.6.1 Bug Bounty Program

For now, our bug bounty program is limited to security bugs only. We define a security bug to be

something which affects the blockchain, emission of GIF, economic damage, financial loss or other

critical areas.

An ERC-20 smart contract for GIF token and crowdsale contract will be available at

https://github.com/socifi/gif-token

The security bugs are divided into several groups depending on their severity. The decision about the

10.3 The foundation for open governance (GIF Foundation)

SOCIFI aims to establish an independent GIF Foundation to ensure the sustainable and stable growth of

the GIF ecosystem, with fair and open governance.

The GIF Foundation is based as an environment of digital services and apps using GIF cryptocurrency to

spread the usage and awareness of cryptocurrency.

The GIF Foundation will transition the entire ecosystem to a fully decentralized and autonomous

network.

Essentially SOCIFI will consecutively transfigure proprietary codebase to an open source. SOCIFI, the

founder of the GIF Foundation, will build the grounds of the ecosystem and open the Market in selected

countries and promote other services using GIF cryptocurrency.

Membership in the GIF Foundation enables open governance and further partnerships, common

development available throughout the ecosystem of major components such as SES SDKs, identity and

reputation management, content management dashboard, APIs and compliance solutions. To succeed

and fulfil objectives, the GIF Foundation will be established to concentrate on three main tasks:

governance goals, research goals and development goals.

Governance goals

The main task is to set process enabling stable and transparent governance reflecting all upcoming

needs throughout the execution. Governance will focus on the all development, administrative and legal

procedures such as marketplace and reward engine core tech, analytics and other parts of solution,

compliance guidelines, membership and participation rules.

Research goals

Resources will be used to decentralize the system with the focus on enabling highly scalable, low

latency, and cost-effective decentralized systems. To eliminate the need for semi-centralized

approaches, significant advances will need to be made in blockchain technology. The team will also

research new technology and user’s behavior to improve any part of the system and optimize it. New

ways for integration with third-party solutions will be explored to improve the value of the system.

Development goals

The GIF Foundation will amend and enrich the development roadmap and target to new development

tasks related to crypto ecosystem, strengthen the value for all involved parties. As part of this process,

SOCIFI will make its own codebase available as an open source project that can be leveraged to power

new communities and add capabilities to existing ones. The GIF Foundation will further this work to

continue improving the technology suite supporting the GIF ecosystem.

11 Conclusions

SOCIFI SES was established to launch and create a new foundation and benchmark of sponsored Data

and other sponsored services for people. We believe the access to data (internet) should be a human

right and our sponsored data uses the most advanced technologies available on the market. The

blockchain enables SOCIFI to implement transparent transactions and with converting the solution into

open source we define the way in this market segment.

11.1 For the Crypto Economy:

● Brand awareness of cryptocurrency: Large corporations like Mobile Network Operators (MNO)

will very likely hear about cryptocurrencies for the first time and we will have a great

opportunity to help with their crypto onboarding process.

● To set a high benchmark for new TGEs that will come after us. SOCIFI is connecting tokens with

existing company.

● GIF represents a true value which will be tradable on exchanges but also locally on the specific

market (media space buy/sell, sponsored data buy/sell and other sponsored products and

services in future).

11.2 For developing & developed countries:

● Make mobile data more accessible for ordinary people.

● More people will have access to education and communication with family and friends due to

additional data packages.

● Massive public safety improvement thanks to implementing early warning systems SOCIFI

already uses with FEMA.gov in the United States and a few other markets.

● People will be able to earn crypto money (GIF) with their current smartphone by continuing with

what they already do.

11.3 For the publishers/sponsors/advertisers:

● Open-source, transparent and fully auditable solution for any marketplace.

● Option to participate on ecosystem development.

● Easy-to-use no lock-in reward mechanism where the main reward (GIF) can be used for a

conversion to existing points, mobile money, data or any other sponsored products.

SOCIFI and the GIF Foundation are not charities. SOCIFI is about empowering people to improve quality

of their lives and protect their safety by participating in a system that they can freely use every day.
