The Physical Agility examination is a five parttest. Failure to complete any portion of the testwill result in disqualification. All applicants mustscore an overall minimum of 425 points to pass.

edUcation: High School graduate or General Education Development certificate.
age: 21 at the time of appointment.
Vision: Must be 20/100 correctable to 20/30and free from color blindness.
height/Weight: Must be in good proportion.
citizenship: Must be a citizen of the UnitedStates within 3 years of appointment or a per-manent resident alien.

The City of Pasadena conducts tests for the positionof full-time Police Officer on a continuous basisbased on available positions.
WRitten testing
All applicants must successfully pass a writtenexamination. The examination is a multiplechoice test of approximately 100 questions, testing applicants in the areas of language skillsand situational reasoning. The examinationtakes approximately 2 hours to complete.
