FOOD BANK DELIVERY Our support of the Paradise Valley

Emergency Food Bank is an important

part of outreach at La Casa de Cristo.

Did you know that besides donating food

items, you can serve others by delivering

the collected items to the food bank?

Volunteers sign up weekly, then pick up

the items at La Casa each week and

deliver them to the food bank. For details

on this important service opportunity and

to sign up, go to lacasadecristo.com/

paradise-valley-food-bank.

The requested item in September is cold

or hot cereal, any size or variety.

MAC & CHEESE UPDATE We’ve set a new record! After three

weeks, you’ve donated a total of 8,940

boxes to the PV Emergency Food Bank

in the Mac & Cheese Challenge, nearly

600 more than the previous La Casa

total! Sunday continues to hold the lead

as we head into the final weekend.

Sunday worshippers have donated 5,001

boxes while the Saturday service has

donated 3,939. Can Saturday come from

behind or will Sunday take the crown?

Either way, the food bank wins big.

Thank you for your generosity!

THIS WEEKEND Sat., Aug. 31/Sun., Sept. 1: Regular

worship service schedule

Sun., Sept. 1: NO meetings of Ignite

Kids, REFUGE, and SEVEN24 due to

Labor Day Weekend.

Final day of the Mac & Cheese

Challenge for the Paradise Valley Food

Bank.

Also at 6:45 pm, Fellowship Hall, attend
