Plans in Teaching Practice of Sixth Semester Students of English Education

Year 2012/2013”.

Key words: Lesson Plans, Teaching Practice Students of Micro Teaching Class.

In the teaching and learning process lesson plan is one important thing that

should be arrange by English teacher. By arrange the lesson plan the teacher will

be successful in delivering the material to the students. Therefore, the

implementation of lesson plan in teaching practice should be concerned. The

students of teaching practice in micro teaching class have to fulfill every stage in

the lesson plan. But, there are some students of them didn’t implement it.

The objective of this research is to know the implementation of lesson plan

in teaching practice of sixth semester students of English Education Department

of Muria Kudus University in Micro teaching class in the academic year

2012/2013.

The design of this research is descriptive qualitative research. The data of

this research are the teaching activities which are written in the form of lesson

plan and performed in teaching practice video. Those data will be analyzed by

implementing the learning steps based on the teaching practice.

After analyzing and also calculating the data, it is obtained that the

implementation of lesson plans by sixth semester students in micro teaching class

as many as 80%. So, it means that it is seldom used by them. There are some

learning steps which are not used by teaching practice students.

Eventually, the writer suggests that the teaching practice students should

implement the learning step on lesson plan appropriately. Then, for college

students who want to take Teaching Practice subject that they should fully

concern in implement the lesson plan during the teaching and learning process. At

last, the writer also suggests for those who want to conduct a similar research as

the writer did, they are able to elaborate the use of classroom English by

analyzing it with other theories, different subject, and others.

Dalam proses kegiatan pembelajarana, Rencana Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran

(RPP) adalah satu hal yang sangat penting yang harus disusun oleh guru,

khususnya guru Bahasa Inggris sebelum mengajar didalam kelas. Dari proses

penyususnan Rencana Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran tersebut seorang guru akan

berhasil dalam menyampaikan materi kepada siswa dan siswinya. Oleh karena itu,

implementasi atau pengaplikasian dari Rencana Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran (RPP)

dalam praktek mengajarnya harus sesuai dengan apa yang mereka rencanakan.

Terkhusus bagi mahasiswa dan mahasiswi yang melaksanakan praktek mengajar

untuk memenuhi mata kuliah Micro Teaching harus mengimplementatsikan dan

mengaplikasikan tahapan atau step dalam Rencana Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran

(RPP) yang mereka rencanakan. Namun, ada beberapa dari mereka yang tidak

mengimplementasikan atau mengaplikasikan tahapan dan step tersebut.

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana mahasiswa

semester enam program studi pendidikan Bahasa Inggris Fakultas Keguruan dan

Ilmu Kependidikan Universitas Muria Kudus mengimplementatiskan atau

mengaplikasikan Rencana Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran (RPP) dalam praktek

mengajar di kelas Micro Teaching Tahun ajaran 2012/2013. Desain dari penelitian

ini adalah Deskripsi Kualitatif. Data yang digunakan adalah kegiatan prosess

pembelajaran yang ditulis dalam bentuk Rancangan Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran

(RPP).

Setelah menganalisis dan menghitung didapatkan hasil bahwa

pengaplikasian Rencana Pelaksaan Pembelajaran (RPP) oleh mahasiswa semester

enam didalam praktek mengajar kelas Micro Teaching adalah 80%. Ini berarti,

bahwa tahapan atau step dalam Rencana Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran (RPP) tidak

diaplikasikan oleh sebagian dari mereka.

Akhirnya, penulis menyarankan kepada mahasiswa yang akan melakukan

praktik mengajar harus menerapkan dan mengaplikasikan step dan tahapan dalam

Rencana Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran (RPP) yang dibuat. Kemudian, untuk

mahasiswa yang akan mengambil mata kuliah Micro Teaching harus

mengaplikasikan atau melaksanakan step dan tahapan dari Rencana Pelaksanaan

Pembelajaran (RPP) selama kegiatan belajar dan mengajar. Tearkhir, penulis

menyarankan bagi mereka yang ingin melakukan penelitian yang sama, agar bisa

menggambarkan bagaimana pengaplikasian Rencana Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran

(RPP) dari teori yang berbeda dan juga subjek yang berbeda pula.
