Timothy Rasinski, Ph.D.Timothy is a professor at Kent State University. His interests include phonics and reading instruction, teacher development in literacy education, and working with struggling readers. Timothy is an editor for the Journal of Literacy Research and served on the Board of Directors of the International Reading Association. He has written numerous articles and books on effective reading instruction. Timothy is the recipient of the College Reading Association’s A.B. Herr Award for scholarly contributions to literacy education.
