What makes Addlestone special is its location. Within the M25 and with great commuter connections, it borders an expanse of open, green space. Blériot Gate enjoys uninterrupted views across this and towards the Thames but is still only a stroll from the station and the up-and-coming shopping and entertainment area.

A six-screen cinema is the focus of the new, pedestrian-friendly shopping and eating district.
Addlestone is undergoing a renaissance. A £70 million regeneration scheme, due for completion in 2017, is breathing new life into a town centre already well-served by shops and eating places. Clustered around the existing civic centre and a new six-screen cinema, the scheme is sensitively integrated with the existing townscape to add a range of prestigious retailers and restaurants, with plenty of parking and generous public spaces.

A PLACE THAT’S REALLY TAKING OFF
Addlestone:

Addlestone really does offer that old cliché, the best of both worlds. You can be in London in under an hour or rambling through green fields or by the Thames in minutes. The town combines the best of old and new too, with sensitive development plans that really enhance its existing advantages.
Easy access to the great outdoors is one of the great benefits of life in Addlestone, especially if you commute to work in London. There’s no better antidote to urban stress than a stroll through the landscaped gardens of Woburn Park or along the riverside walks of Chertsey Meads. They are right on your doorstep and the royal parks at Windsor and Richmond are only a short drive away.

If you enjoy the good life, you’re in the right place at the right time. Local shopping is undergoing a makeover, and retail trips to the local towns such as Kingston upon Thames or London’s West End could not be easier. There are more great local restaurants and pubs on offer, and when only the best will do, you can always book yourself in to the Michelin-starred Fat Duck or Waterside Inn in nearby Bray.
