Wow! I can’t believe it is already Decem-ber. This year has gone by so fast! It has been a very busy one for our children, but a very blessed one as well. As I reflect back on all the things we have done with and for our kids this year, I am so thankful for the support everyone has given this ministry. We went to Albuquerque for the Young Lives Ablaze conference in April, had a great week of Sports Camp in June, went to mission camp at Inlow in July, had lots of fun at our back to school bash in August, joined our community for the safe trick or treat event in October, collected shoeboxes for our Operation Christmas Child mission project in November and we are not done yet. This Sunday night at 5:00 PM, the children in our AWANA clubs have a special treat for all of you. They have been working very hard on their Christmas program this year called The Fumbly Bumbly Angels and are very excited to share it with everyone. We will have refreshments afterward in the fellowship hall. All of our leaders and children have put a lot of time and effort into this presentation, so please be in prayer for all those involved, especially the children, and I hope that all of you will be able to join us. It is sure to be an enjoyable time and a great way to end the year. A new addition this year has been The Gos-pel Project on Sunday mornings. The teachers love it and the children are learning so much! It is helping them to see how all of the pieces of the Bible fit together to tell one big story: the story of Jesus and God’s plan to save us through Him. We are in need of one more leader for both groups. If you would like to be involved in this amazing program or any of our other events coming up, we will be having a children’s council meeting Sunday, January 22nd at 3:00 in the purple room and would love for you to join us. Thank-you for a wonderful year and have a very merry Christmas! Sara
