This vast 265 km2 (65,000 acres) private estate was established in the 19th century to conserve and protect wildlife habitat. More than 100 years later, a staff of biologists continue to maintain nature’s balance and preserve the reserve’s spectacular resources.

Fishing and hunting at its best

Our magnificent hardwood forest encompasses 65 lakes, 24 of which are designated for fishing. Kenauk Nature is well known as one of Quebec’s premier fishing destinations and its lakes and rivers support an incredibly wide variety of fish – rainbow, speckled, and lake trout; largemouth and smallmouth bass; as well as northern pike.

The reserve is equally well known for white-tailed deer and moose hunting. Our habitat management plan strives to maintain healthy populations of large deer and moose, which results in the kind of hunting experience that keeps our hunters coming back year after year.
