WHY K-STATE?

You can conduct research as both an undergraduate and graduate, and work closely with faculty mentors through fellowships, traineeships, teaching assistantships and research assistantships. Students can conduct research in a wide array of environments, from the 8,600-acre Konza Prairie Biological Station to the Johnson Cancer Research Center. The university is home to more than 90 research centers and has developed more than 200 patents.

The Manhattan Regional Airport (MHK) serves the area with daily commercial flights to the airline hubs of Dallas (DFW) and Chicago (ORD). At the beginning of each semester, a free shuttle service to the campus is offered to students arriving from the Manhattan Regional Airport.
