Hoover commenced the roll on April 1, 2015,
upon Charlie Creason’s retirement.

the day-to-day operations. Dan came to PMT
three years ago from Frontier Communications in

“It is with pleasure that we announce Dan Hoover as President and CEO of
Project Mutual Telephone. Dan will provide continued leadership in
Networking, High-Speed Internet, Business Telephone Systems and Cable TV,
now and in the future,” states Ron Clawson, Chairman of the PMT Board of
Directors.
About the future of PMT Dan states,” I am excited and grateful for the oppor-
tunity to lead PMT. We have many new service offerings we are planning to
deploy this year, and I know the team here at PMT is up to the challenges. We
want to continue the progress and growth PMT has experienced throughout
Charlie’s time at the helm. Additionally, we want to continue providing our
localized and excellent customer service in the Magic Valley.”
Dan and his wife, Robin, are the proud parents of four grown children and
four grandchildren. He enjoys hunting, fishing, landscaping, and spending

Employee of the Year
Glenda Bodily was announced as Employee of the Year for 2015 at PMT’s Annual
Awards Banquet. Glenda began her career at PMT over 20 years ago repairing
telephones. As technology progressed and PMT added new services, Glenda
transitioned to differing roles within PMT, consisting of Cellular/Internet/Pager
Technician and the Customer Service Department.
Glenda’s current position is a Business Customer Service Representative. She
works alongside our outside sales staff to deliver individualized solutions to our
business customers and their unique needs. Along with taking excellent care of our
customers, Glenda also works on directory listings, phonebook proofing, long distance access code configuration
and whatever else comes her way.
“Glenda is definitely an asset to PMT. With her years of experience in multiple departments, she brings a wealth
of knowledge to the table. She is also great at working with our customers and always willing to go the extra
mile to make sure that customers’ needs are met,” says Trish Archuleta, Customer Service Supervisor.
Glenda and her husband, Norm, live on a farm east of Rupert. When she isn’t at work, Glenda can be found
helping out around the farm driving trucks, tractors and combines, as well as taking care of the farm accounting.

Better Search Results from the Internet
Frustrated by searching for something on the internet
and getting unwanted results? Find what you’re looking
for quicker with these easy tips. If you are getting results
that bring in a lot of unwanted information you can add a
minus symbol to exclude all the terms you don’t want.
Example: southern Idaho –rv –burley. You can also use
quotations to search for the exact phrase: Hiking trails in
southern Idaho will give different results, approximately
122,000 than “Hiking trails in southern Idaho”, which
returns approximately two results.
For Google, this one is a fun one, search titles only. This
looks for words in the webpage title. Example: southern
Idaho intitle:mini-cassia. On the sophisticated side for
math, you can graph equations. Try something like this in
the Google search box, sin(x+12)-(y-9) or 20% of $45.90.
The search engine will graph the first equation and for
the second it will even leave information on how much to
tip. You can use Google as a dictionary/thesaurus and it
brings back very detailed information and how to use the
words. Don’t be shy, experiment and see how fun the
web has become. Last but not least, in the Google search
type Do a barrel role and press enter. Whoa! Share the
fun things you find by making a post on the PMT Face-
book page at: www.facebook.com/ProjectMutualTele-
phone

Always Call 811 BEFORE You Dig
Knowing where underground utilities lines are buried
before each digging project begins helps protect you from
injury, expense and penalties. Even simple digging projects
can damage utility lines and disrupt vital services to an
entire community, harm diggers, and potentially result in
expensive fines and repair costs. Marked lines show
diggers the approximate location of underground lines and
help prevent undesired consequences.
The 811 number consolidates all local “Call Before You
Dig” numbers and helps save lives by minimizing damage
to underground utilities. One phone call to 811 quickly
and easily begins the process of getting underground
utility lines marked. Local One Call Center personnel will
notify affected utility companies, who will mark under-
ground lines for FREE.
Whether you are a professional excavator or a homeowner,
you need to call 811 before every dig!
One free, easy call gets your utility lines marked and helps protect you from injury and expense. Visit www.nm811.org/ for more information.
