and WondersWishesA special class just for kids, age 5 – 17.
It’s designed for kids who have a newly diagnosed parent or grandparent with cancer at Nebraska Medicine. They’ll learn about cancer, treatment, infusaports and central lines, how things will be different in their lives, feelings they may have and how to cope. Teens are encouraged to attend and help younger students.
Park in Green Parking at 45th and Emile streets. Walk to University Tower and take the elevator to the fifth floor. Look for Wishes and Wonders signage.
• Six-week class; Different topic each session; Attendance is encouraged for all sessions but not required.
• Mondays, April 6 – May 11, 4:30 to 5:45 p.m.
• Grissom Classroom, room 5412 A and B, fifth floor, University Tower
• Please bring your child to class and stop back when class is over.
• Snack provided
