Hilti has been supplying post-installed mechanical anchors under a nuclear quality program since 1975. The Hilti nuclear quality program is designed to meet the requirements of ASME NQA-1 2000 and 10CFR50 Appendix B and has been assessed to be in compliance with the requirements of ANSI N45.2-1971, ANSI N45.2-1977, ASME NQA-1-1994, and ASME NQA-1-2008 including 2011 addenda.

With a new wave of nuclear construction becoming a reality, we look forward to being the leading provider of anchoring solutions on these projects also.

Hilti anchors have been evaluated for use under the requirements of ACI 355.2-01 and ACI 349-01. The review was performed by a past chair of ACI committee 355, who provided a complete report outlining his findings.

This review was performed on the three Hilti mechanical anchors listed below;

The conclusion of the review was that the performed testing on all three anchors meets the intent of ACI 355.2-01 and ACI 349-01. These reports are available for your use and documentation. The reports also include a guide to assist in the design of Hilti anchors in accordance with ACI 349-01 Appendix B. In order to further support your design needs, Hilti has elected to include ACI 349-01 in our popular anchor design program, PROFIS, which is already capable of performing ACI 318 and Allowable Stress Design calculations.
