The Art of the Invite – Social Selling Training

KNOW.LIKE.TRUSTThe Art of the Invite begins with this! Once you come across as someone they feel like they KNOW, LIKE & TRUST, the rest is just sharing your passion! It’s not about SELLING but TELLING. Be Authentic and share your WHY story. Listen and connect with what THEY need.

The Art of Inviting a Lead to HOST• People will host an event for three reasons. 1) To help a FRIEND 2) For the FUN factor 3) To earn FREE product• Highlight the FUN, FAST & EASY FACTOR of hosting an event. For example: “When you host your Youngevity Social Hour,

not only will you be giving your friends a reason to escape the chaos of weekly routines, but you’ll be able to offer them discounts of up to 50% off on favorite everyday/anyway products all while earning your wish list for FREE!”

• Generate excitement with their favorite category of products. Share examples of what they could save!• Offer something different. For example, an Oils Make & Take Workshop, a “Total package party” with our mineral

makeup, a Mom & Daughter Memory Making afternoon, or various theme parties like a Jewels & Java Brunch Party, or a “Pamper Party” with our spa products. Be creative and ask yourself, what kind of party would YOU want to attend?

The Art of Inviting Guests to Attend an Event• Keep it PERSONALIZED. Give the host a script to individually send to each guest (no group texts or emails)

• “Hey Susie! I know you’re super busy these days but would love to have you escape for a night off and pop over! I’m hosting a Youngevity social on Feb. 10th and this is the coolest concept I’ve ever seen! Your favorite everyday/anyway products from fashion, to jewelry, make-up, essential oils, coffee and more. Absolutely something for everyone with deals and discounts too! Can I count you in for some girl time?”

• Give guests a PURPOSE to attend. Keep interest and excitement peaked by sharing testimonials, pictures, and asking questions through a drip campaign via their Facebook event so that they absolutely won’t want to miss out! Reward engagement by giving out extra drawing tickets for comments on your posts. Reward early birds by giving out extra drawing tickets for those who arrive 10 minutes early, and two extra tickets for bringing a friend!

• The fortune is in the follow up! Give the host/hostess a reason to “check in” a day before the event, with a reminder text to her guests of a “to do” task. For example: Remember to come early, bring a friend, etc. for an extra ticket.

The Art of Inviting a New Business Partner to Join You• LISTEN and pay attention for cues of interest in the business/opportunity. Never judge a book by its cover! Eight out of

10 people in the room would consider doing the business. Keep in mind, “NO” could mean “no, not now” or “I need to know more”! Have the courage to keep asking. Review your FRANK and host Opportunity socials regularly.

• Speak of the opportunity as a GIFT that just keeps on giving to others. Highlight what it’s done for you in your life and share testimonials of others on your team. Your why story will be your most powerful tool for recruiting. Connect!

• Present the opportunity as an easily duplicatable system. Less is More when you’re first sharing the opportunity.• Highlight the support system available as well as the team dynamic and culture. “You will be in business FOR yourself

but not BY yourself!”

Healthy Body Weight Loss Pak™ The Natural, Life-Long Weight Loss Program

What is ASAP? (As Slim as Possible) • ASAP is a liquid dietary weight loss enhancer. For the healthiest body chemistry while losing weight, take all four

products in the Healthy Body Weight Loss Pak™• Non-synthetic, hormone-free formula • Contains calming ingredients, helps fight stress• Helps rev metabolism and reduce toxicity • Proprietary blend of protein chains and amino acids• Works by naturally releasing (adipose) abnormal fat stores to be used as fuel for the body

How long is the program and what results are typical?• Choose either a three or six week program, depending on weight loss goal. Most lose an amazing number of inches

from their whole body and thousands have reported losing an average of 1/2 to 1 lb. per day or more while on drops.

What foods and exercise are recommended?• The menu includes specified amounts of lean meats, vegetables, and fruits. • While taking the ASAP drops, do not consume any sugar, starch, or fat for three or six weeks. Visit

asapslimcenter.com for details. • Light exercise is best.

How is the weight loss life-long/permanent?• After the three (or six) week period, eating fat is allowed, as well as any fruit, vegetable, and meat, while continuing to

avoid sugar and starch for three more weeks during the Maintenance stage. Your metabolism will respond to your new lower weight. Sugars and starches can be reintroduced in moderation after the 21 days of Maintenance.

• Weigh daily. Should your weight rise 2 lbs over the last day of the ASAP period, eat nothing that day for breakfast or lunch and eat a large steak with an apple or tomato for dinner. The next day, it is not uncommon to have lost 2-3 lbs. No more yo-yo dieting!

For more information, visit the healthybodychallenge.com for a more moderate yet effective approach to weight loss, or asapslimcenter.com for the fast-track.

Heritage Makers Social Selling

A Heritage Makers Social is an amazing opportunity to share Youngevity’s digital memory keeping brand in a social selling setting.

The Heritage Makers products lend themselves to a fun atmosphere where guests can share their own stories, be inspired by the amazing product line of Heritage Makers, and to purchase a CLUB membership which can create residual income for the Youngevity distributor. It is also an inspiring event for guests to see.

Tips for a Successful Heritage Makers Social:• Be sure to SHARE YOUR STORY! Share the story of why you are inspired by the Heritage Makers story, your own story,

and projects you have created, and how each guest can preserve their amazing stories and photos using our Heritage Makers Studio.

• Have your hostess share the projects she is working on and why she loves Heritage Makers for her photo and story booking solution! Be sure to have her share why the hostess rewards are amazing and what she hopes to be able to create after hosting her social.

• Showcase and spotlight several different types of products that Heritage Makers Studio can create, such as hard and soft bound storybooks, canvases, metal prints, greeting cards, bags, and so much more!

Hostess Coaching Tips For a Successful Social

Hostess Coaching is the single most important thing you can implement to have a fantastic social event. Your hostess is “golden,” and you want to make her happy. Keeping her happy will ensure stronger bookings, larger attendance, and ultimately, higher sales. Believe me, she will spread the word to her friends! Use these tips to keep your bookings on the original date, to keep from cancelling, and to ensure more bookings in the future.

Booking your social• Book your socials within two to three weeks maximum. Booking farther out tends to encourage more cancellations

since most people don’t keep calendars that far in advance and many things can come up. This will give you and your hostess plenty of time to create a guest list, get invitations sent out, get another booking or two from your hostess’ friends (usually people who cannot attend her event but will book).

• Should your hostess need to change the date of her social, make sure you reschedule right then. Give her the option of your next two openings. Never say, “Okay, what date works best for you?” This is your business; you control your calendar.

When you meet the new hostess• Give her a packet filled with information to help her prepare for her social. Include:

• A catalog and a few order forms.• The hostess rewards plan and any specials.• A sheet for her to begin a “wish list” of the free and half price products she wants. I always ask to see her

wish list from the current social. We highlight her top five items and work on getting those free or discounted. • I suggest she invite 30-40 friends. Let her know that it’s normal to have about 10-15 attend from the 30-40 that

she invites.• Tell her you will call her in in two days to make sure the date will work for her. I always verify that I have the best

number to reach her at; I prefer her cell phone so I can easily reach her. I make sure she has my cell number and knows I will be calling.

First call 48 hours after she books• Express how excited you are for her social! Excited to spoil her and give her FREE stuff!• Encourage her to invite lots of people and ask those guests to bring a friend.• Mail her a thank you card! Remember, you want your hostess to feel spoiled by YOU!

Two weeks before• The “How are things going call.” Are her invites ready or already sent out? Does she have questions, etc.? I strongly

encourage her to personally invite, by phone or email, her guests. I never encourage Facebook invites only.

Two days before• I call to find out how many RSVPs she has so I can prepare with catalogs, giveways, etc.• I like to learn a little about some of her guests at this point. First, she can let me know who can’t make her social. I

encourage her to invite those that are unable to attend to book from her social and also place an order. It is so important to make sure the hostess understands the rewards program; she will work to get those outside orders and bookings.

• I find out about those coming; the party queens, those who are super excited, etc. Helps me be better prepared at the event.

• For higher attendance and more sales, I always encourage my hostess to place a reminder call the day before or send a text.

Page 7: 90 For Life Social Selling Information• Dr. Joel Wallach – founder • Comparative Pathologist • Nobel Prize Nominee • Agricultural Expert • Bio Medial Research Pioneer •

At the party• Thank your hostess for inviting you into her home. Talk about how excited you are to spoil her with free stuff! The point

is to make her feel special. Her guests will see this and want to also take part.• I mention several times tidbits about my business, things I love. Plant the seed of joining your team.

After the party• Mail a Thank You card. I pre-publish multiple cards through Heritage Makers so I have them on hand. Make her

feel special and spoiled through the entire experience. She could be a repeat hostess for you again six months down the road.

• I mail cards to the guests who attended as well, either “Great to meet you” or “Thank you for your order.”

Hostess coaching may not come naturally, but it can make the world of difference in the success of your business. Do all you can to coach your hostess and you will be building your business SUCCESS in the process!

Creating a Successful Makeup Party

SETUP• A good number to shoot for is 10-16 guests (you will invite many more)• You can choose to either use this Powerpoint or not (http://ygy-cdn-01.azureedge.net/wp-content/themes/youngevity/

media/Mineral-Makeup-Presentation-1013.pdf)• Review the above Powerpoint so that you are familiar with the products and how to apply, even if you are not using it

during your party

PREPARE THE SPACE• You will need excellent lighting, especially if the party is at night• Have a taller bar stool for the makeover client to sit on, facing the ladies• Have all your makeup set out and ready in a place close by• Have the Botanical Spa line set out• Have drinks like BTT or Rebound available; maybe light snacks• Have round cotton pads, Q-tips, Kleenex, and paper towels available• Create a fun party atmosphere with music playing lightly in the background • It is always easiest if there are no children

INTRO• The hostess will introduce the “beauty expert” • You will share your 5-minute OR LESS story• Talk about the importance of “clean makeup” with the following information:

• The average woman puts on 14 pounds of toxins in their lifetime in the form of cosmetics, lotions, shampoo, etc.• Anything applied to the skin is absorbed into the bloodstream in 26 seconds• You think about what you put in your mouth but we are largely unaware of the chemicals we put on our skin• THERE IS NO SEPARATION BETWEEN BEAUTY AND HEALTH: Importance of beauty from the inside out, and the

It gives your skin the latest technology in defense—it helps skin neutralize those free radicals that tend to specialize in damaging skin structure, resulting in a firmer, tighter, and more youthful appearance

• Waterless Vitamin C- BLT: brighten, lighten and tighten and it is a great anti-oxidant for the skin

MAKEOVER STEPS• Cleanse and prep skin• Apply Waterless Vitamin C*• Apply Concealer• Color match the client with foundation *• Apply foundation• Apply bronzer, enhancer and blush• Apply Angel Face finishing powder if model has oily skin• Apply eye shadow• Define brows• Apply eye liner and mascara (have the model do her own mascara)• Apply lip liner and lip lock gloss

BRUSHESDifferentiate between the Kabuki, Flawless Face and Concealer brush

* NOTE• Sometimes women can be sensitive to the Vitamin C. It may tingle a bit (that’s the ascorbic

acid) however if it starts to burn or the tingling doesn’t go away, have the model wash her face again. You might want to do a “sensitivity” check before the event.

• Do not contaminate products; shake a small amount out onto a tissue (for powders). For pencils, spray a tissue with rubbing alcohol and wipe the pencil off. For anything creamy, take a Q-tip and scoop a little out of the container first.

Steps for a Successful Mialisia Social Event

• Build your display of VersaStyle jewelry.• You can start small. You don’t have to have one of everything, but you do need enough to demonstrate the

VersaStyle concept. Of course the more you have, the more you will sell. Women love to be able to touch something before they buy it. You will want to have a variety of both long and short pieces.

• Practice! Learn how to create looks with your VersaStyle pieces. You need to know the basics and be able to make it look easy.

• Watch the look of the week videos on youtube: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCJymmDh2AKWU-i19AWOo_BQ?view_as=visitor

• Like the Mialisia page on Facebook to get weekly ideas. • Lend your hostess a few pieces of VersaStyle jewelry so she can demonstrate how unique the concept is while she is

inviting guests. It’s important for them to know this isn’t just another jewelry company. • Keep your display at the event simple. The goal is to get your guests to play with the jewelry. You want them to feel

comfortable messing it up. The more elaborate the display, the more hesitant they are. • Keep your demonstration simple. I try to keep it around 15 minutes for a social event.

• Invite your guests to grab their favorite long piece from your display before you begin your demonstration. • Encourage them to follow along as you show them how to create your favorite looks with a single Classic

VersaStyle piece. Make sure to tell them the names of the pieces you are using so they can make a wish list. • Once you have shown them at least five to seven looks, ask them to choose their favorite look and

create it again. • When they have completed their look, choose a few of the guests and build on their look with an Expression

VersaStyle piece or another Classic Versastlyle piece. • Talk about the little infinity tag on each piece of jewelry and share the Infinite Worth message. • Let them play and help them create looks!

Essential Oil Party Script and Ideas

Opening: Thank you everyone for coming out tonight to (________)’s essential oils information night. My name is (_____) and I am excited to show you some essential oils.

How many of you have used essential oils before?

Well you all must be curious about them to be here tonight so we are going to get started right away.

First, I would like you to introduce yourself and tell me how you know our host (_____).

<Handout door prize slip with a pen.>

<Ask the guests to fill in the bottom information section and then flip it over. They can write down the oils that you talk about that interest them.>

Presentation:Youngevity Essential Oils are:

• 100% Therapeutic• Member of the National Association for Holistic Aromatherapy (NAHA)• Produced with the highest standard of quality and safety• Free of additives, extenders, or chemicals• Extracted in a manner that preserves the integrity of the plant life• No animal testing or animal products are used

Please consult a health professional before consuming any essential oils internally or using oil off label.

Listening and Deciphering Your Body’s Cues

There may be many things that our body is trying to tell us at any given time, many of which we don’t know how to respond to immediately and thus ignore until the problem worsens. Hunger is an easy cue to alleviate, but when you are experiencing physical pain or stress, how do you manage it?

The Results Now (RN Kit) features seven Youngevity Essential Oils that show a simple, practical way to tune into your body’s communication.

How are essential oils used? Oils can be very powerful. I am going to go through a few ways you can use essential oils on yourself and in your home.

Wrap up:Thank you for spending some time with me today. I would love the opportunity to give you FREE essential oils by having me over and inviting a few of your friends to come and learn more about essential oils.

When you host a social in (___) you will also receive (_____).

We also have a great guest offer tonight. For each $75 you spend you are able to choose one item, such as an oil, for half price (or another product if you have multiple product displays).

One of the best things that I have loved in adding to my collection of essential oils is our Aroma Share Oil of the Month Club. For $50 US you can receive 2+ oils a month complete with an information card as well as personal use information and food preparation recipes. This is a good way to add oils and learn about them a little at a time.

Page 13: 90 For Life Social Selling Information• Dr. Joel Wallach – founder • Comparative Pathologist • Nobel Prize Nominee • Agricultural Expert • Bio Medial Research Pioneer •

Close: Go around the room and tell me what oils you feel can help you the most and tell me one thing you learned tonight about our oils.

Draw: free shipping, or an oil, etc.

Tips: • Do not go in as a walking encyclopedia; be duplicatable so you can invite people to hold socials.

• Do not give lots of handouts. Offer to email something so you have a second point of contact.

• Promote the Oil of the Month Club during your presentation and again at order taking

• Ask them if they would like to be a customer or distributor; distributor enables them to tell their friends, make some $ and have a free website; customer enables them to order when they choose, oil of the month club.

Our Memories for Life Best Practices

Key elements that will drive maximum sales and recruiting opportunities at Our Memories for Life (OMFL) parties: Set- up • Items to have on display:

• Several coversets• All three refill page options: traditional, pocket, top loading sleeves• Several designer collections (your favorites plus the latest autoship)• Border maker system, several cartridges and the one-page flier showing all the cartridges• Both trimmers• Tape runner and pens (optional: the additional adhesives)• A completed album of your choice• A digital album, preferably one you have created

How to make your presentation personal and effective• Show your own photo album examples. PASSION is the most important “item” to bring to an event. One way to show

your passion is to bring your personally created albums to the party. People are more likely to purchase products that you have used and personally recommend.

• Facts tell – stories sell. Make sure you share two really great stories about how albums have changed lives. These stories should be no more than three minutes long. It is most effective if these stories are your personal examples, however, if you have to “borrow” from a customer, friend, etc. that is fine.

• Show each of the album page options with photos and journaling (a traditional page, a pocket page, a top loading sleeve)

• Show a five minute page and a 15 minute page. Most likely you will have guests who have little time and want to see options that are quick. You will also have people who are creative and can spend more time, so it is important to have samples for both groups.

• Make sure that you mention 2-3 times that when you purchase $75 in product you are able to purchase one item at 50 percent off.

• Share the product selections that are included in the script. And feel free to create your suggestions of what can be purchased for $75.

• Weave into your presentation a few personal examples of why you love to be a distributor. For example: “Being a Distributor gives me the flexibility I need so that I can babysit my grandkids when my daughter needs me. Plus I love that I get a personal discount on all my products and I earn some additional spending money so I can spoil the grandkids.”

• Bring several copies of the Photo Assessment form to share with each guest at the end of your presentation.• Mention how signing up for auto-ship provides free-shipping and a fun new collection each month.

Follow up• Share your workshop/crop schedule with each guest• If someone did not purchase, be sure to give them a call in the next few days to see if they have made a decision

regarding which project to start with.

Have fun!

Our Memories for Life Best Script

Opening: (personalize with your own story about why you love photo albums and how albums have impacted your life). I am so glad we could get together today to talk about something that is so important – our photos! Earlier when we introduced ourselves, I was blessed to hear that photos are something you are passionate about! But, it also sounds like your photos are a bit overwhelming because they are EVERYWHERE – on your phone, computer, tablet, and in boxes!

No worries, during our time together, it is my goal to make you feel motivated AND equipped to take your photos to a new level: organized and ready to be shared and enjoyed!

But before we get into the details of all our options, I want to tell you a quick personal story.

<insert personal story>

However, today very few people are enjoying printed photo albums. Instagram and Facebook make it so easy to view and share photos that many think that is “good enough.”

Rather than just trusting today’s technology to protect our precious photos we need to print those pictures, get them into albums, and enjoy some of the many benefits that albums provide such as:

• Albums capture your pictures AND your stories. The pictures on our phones and computers don’t tell the stories that make our lives meaningful. A picture is worth a thousand words but we need those words written down! We will forget. That is a guarantee if the words are not written.

• Albums don’t need upgrading to the latest model or monthly payments for storage. In fact, albums basically never wear out. My albums that are nearly 60 years old show a few “love marks” but they are far from being worn out or obsolete and they have been viewed hundreds of times.

I could go on with more benefits of albums but some of you may be thinking: “Well albums would be nice, but I just do not have the time or money to spend on making them. And, I am definitely not creative, so scrapbooking has never seemed like an option for me.”

Well, today, I am bursting with enthusiasm to share a line of products that will make album making a doable tradition in your life. These products are time effective and affordable and require ZERO creativity! But, if you are the creative type, we have options for you as well.

We have two alternatives for capturing photos in albums – one is traditional, using hands-on products, and the other is digital.

Let’s begin with looking at our traditional options.

The first style of album I want to share is what we call a slip-in pocket page album. These pockets were sized perfectly to fit 4x6 photos with the exception of this middle pocket which fits our journaling cards. These cards give you a fast and easy way to write about the photos on the page so you can tell your story. If you don’t have much to say, you can slip another photo into this spot by trimming it just a bit.

These pages will make you feel creative when you add these clever matching border strips that just slide into place. They are two-sided so you can choose a theme like these balloons or a simple pattern like this one.

These pocket pages are great for those of you with pictures already printed. In the time it would take you to watch a movie, you could fill one of these albums. Thirty pages (sixty sides) easily fit into an album, although some people add more. The sixty pages would accommodate from 240 to 300 pictures depending on whether you use the journaling cards or not.

Another brilliant idea that can be done with these pages is to right now start one of these albums and print eight to 10 pictures EACH month. Then slide those pictures into the two-page spread, write on the journaling card, and you now have a lovely snapshot of your life for that month. Just think how fun it will be to look back and see an entire year with each month captured. If this were all you did with your photos you would be ahead of 90 percent of people.

This pocket album and everything you need, the coverset, two sets of pages, the border strips and journaling cards costs around $100. That is under $10 per month that you have spent to preserve and enjoy your photos. And in a few minutes I will show you how you can get this product for even less.

Let’s move on now and talk about our scrapbook-style album options. If you truly want the flexibility of putting many pictures on a page or decorating the page how you want, our paper pages will be the perfect choice for you.

We designed these pages knowing that most people have limited time so several of these page options already come pre-decorated. All you have to do is add your pictures. We also have plain paper pages that might look intimidating but the good news is that using coordinating designer cardstock collections these pages can be completed very quickly. These collections containing cardstock, journaling cards, and border strips give you fast and simple ways to add a bit of decoration to the page along with your photos.

You can mount a border strip onto a page and be done. Or you can use two border strips and a journaling card. Notice how everything matches perfectly. You don’t have to spend anytime wondering “if it goes together.”

Those who have the creative gene will have so much fun creating endless combinations with these products.

Lastly, these pages are acid-free, lignin-free, and buffered. That means they have been tested to be photo-safe and archival by the standards of the Library of Congress.

Whether you prefer the pocket pages or the paper scrapbooking pages our decorative collections work for both.

Here is an example of our Winter Wonders collection. It comes with decorative cardstock that you can add to the pages or you can use the cardstock as an album page and drop it into one of our top loading sleeves. The collection also comes with two sizes of border strips. The narrow border strips fit perfectly into the pocket album and both the wide and narrow strips work for the scrapbooking pages. Here is an example where both sizes of border strips were used. Lastly the collections come with journaling cards that fit into the pocket pages and are used on the paper pages as well.

There are several themes available such as, Winter, like this one, travel/vacation, baby, school days, Christmas, Heritage and Faith, which we call Miracles and Milestones, wedding, and the list goes on.

The pocket pages and these traditional pages, the top loading sleeves are all made to fit into this beautiful coverset made of high-quality bookcloth which we offer in 13 different colors and two different styles. The linen look or our newest

fashion color coversets have a high-saturated color finish. Every component of this album is acid-free and photo safe. And this ingenious new state of the art binding allows the book to expand and the pages to lie flat.

Because we want these photo albums to outlive us, everything we put in them must be photo safe. That is why we offer other archival products such as our pens and these adhesives. These are easy to use and economical.

We also carry some very fun tools such as paper trimmers and our most popular tool, this border maker system. You can make 18 different borders with this simple tool and the sky is the limit with how they can be utilized in either your pocket album or your paper scrapbooking album. Here are the designs that you can make (hold up the sheet with the designs). And, we have a video on our website that demonstrates this tool and some of its uses. And if you want to play with the one I have here today, please feel free to try it.

As I mentioned earlier, we also have a fantastic digital option. I am sure all of you have digital pictures on your phone, your tablet or your computer. And, our digital app called Snap2Finish will give you a super easy and very intuitive experience for taking those photos and making them into a digital album.

All you do is log onto: www.xxxxxxx.com and follow the prompts to get started. I have made dozens of digital books as well as traditional albums so I can personally validate that this is another great option to help you get an album in the lap of your family members.

Here is an example of a 12x12 digital book that I made about my Dad’s life – it includes stories of his faith and his heritage. Our Memories for Life offers a collection called Miracles and Milestones for our traditional albums and I took the very same questions and prompts from that collection and used them in this album. I made 20 copies of this book because all the grandchildren, and my Dad’s children and siblings all wanted a copy. The ability to make multiple copies is one of the beautiful aspects of digital album making.

Every year I make a digital book that is in chronological order, from January to December, of our yearly pictures. The only issue with this idea is that I have to wait until December 31st when the year is over before I can print my book. So, I have to wait patiently for a year to enjoy all the photos and their memories.

That problem is solved if you print digital 12x12 page prints. Basically, this is the exact same page from one of my digital books printed as a single page called a page print. Now, I can take this page print and drop it into an OMFL top-loading sleeve, put it in a coverset, and I can be looking at my digitally created album pages throughout the year. It is most economical to print ten of these pages at a time, so I wait until I have that many and then I order. These can be made and ordered from that same www.xxxxxx.com website.

I truly want to do everything I can to help you have the GIFT of your pictures and stories. There is a saying that I have loved for years, “When a person dies it’s like a library burns down.” Inside everyone is a wealth of stories that need to be captured and shared. If you have ever wondered if you have time to make photo albums I want to challenge you with a different perspective. Do you really want to live life without them?

I hope you are all now ready to take the next step but you may be wondering where to get started. I have this photo assessment sheet that may help you determine where to start. This is an optional tool. Some of you may not need it, but I will pass it out now for those who want to use it.
