First maybe I should explain how I came into the Whitlock Family(sometimes I still feel like an interloper>. I was born to AltonWilson and his wife Alberta (Landkammer) Wilson in Bend, Deschutes Co.Oregon the 09 of February 1923. This was Delia MayWhitlock and Guy L. Sanders. Delia died when I was six and I was sentto Wallula, WA to an older sister of Guy's where I stayed until Igraduated from High School. I left the day after graduation and foundGuyon a small farm in Evans Valley out of Silverton, OR. I attendedMt. Angel College and Normal School and during World War II went toPortland and worked in an aircraft factory where I met myhusband,Robert G. Cunningham. We are about to celebrate our 51stwedding anniversary!

I have found my birth parents .. My Mother died in Oroville, CA in1981 and my father died in Lancaster, CA in 1962. I have their deathcertificates. From my mother's side I find I have 12 first cousinsover in Pomeroy, WAn I have met them all and have many pictures andmementoes. For my father I feel I am back in square one for when heapplied for a social security card he was living in Klamath Falls, ORand was married to a Rene Mason so I still do not know if I mighthave half brothers and sisters.

This is what I have to add to your Whitlock File 37 which yousent. If anything was the same as you had I did not copy or repeatit. I hope this is clear enough for you to read. I am enclosing acopy of the Marion County Probate Records I found at the beattIeGenealogical Society. (I volunteer one day a week and basically answerqueries) It covers John H. and Mitchell very well .. They bothfollowed the OregQn Trail to Oregon and settled donation land claims.(No. 4541 for John H. and No ..3143 for Mitchell. As you can see I havemuch research to do ..
