Introduction: Welcome Horse Player, To the $888.Horse Racing System, the book, that almost didnt get published. It has been 35 years of testing systems and to have one that actually works is the reason why my Father agreed to write this book and for the first time, sell it. He said he would never sell a system, because most of them didnt work over a period of a couple days. They will all work once then, there was usually a long dry spell before it works again. This system has been working consistently, cashing big tickets since spring of 2005. There are plays for this system can use at every Track and invariably one or more hits for a big score everyday, you just have to have a ticket. This System was written in book form in January 2007 and updated in April 2007 however; I have personally been testing and using it since last fall. It has produced some big tickets for me and it may also do the same for you. I say may because its up to you whether you follow the rules of the System or if you add you own. You will also have to have the balls to bet the system, You dont want to know how many big tickets I missed at first, before I fully tested the System myself to feel confident enough to bet my hard earned money. Start testing it yourself on todays Races.

4

The Stretch Speed System This system was developed by my Father in 1984. He had been using the Tote Board System successfully for years leading up to this time. He said that when the OTBs came into existence that he could see that the odds were not changing as much, between flashes of the tote board as they once did. So he wanted a system that could pick the horse that was the fastest in the stretch run. As an owner he knew a lot about training horses and what it takes to get them in top form ready to win. He wanted to be able to separate these (horses in top form) from the rest of the pack by a mathematical System. This is the System that He used in the mid 80s and still today to cash big tickets at the Track. Before this system was developed he would only make win, place and show bets. Using this system he started doing exacta bets and it Paid Off. During this time he bought a Porsche, a 26 Ft Sea Ray cabin cruiser, 4 race horses with training bills and more. I remember in 1985 he flew to Albany, New York to bet the Travers Stakes. (There was not a simulcast outlet in this area at that time) The System had Java Gold picked to win over Gate Dancer and he did at 7 to 1. He said he had won enough on that race to pay a bunch of bills, He wouldnt tell me exactly how much but Im thinking at least 10k. As I know he had at least $800. across the board on it. He would also claim Horses, he would use this System to find the best claims. He was telling me about a horse he claimed for

5

10,000 at Golden Gate, It closed right after, so he ran it back at Bay Meadows two weeks later for 16,000. He won the race and the horse got claimed as well. So he had made his part of a 16k purse plus he sold the horse for a 6,000. Dollar profit, somewhere around $18k was made on that one claim. Rule 1. From the Racing Form or a Track program that list the recent past performance of each horse. Eliminate all that have not run in the last 30 days. Eliminate Maiden Races where there are three or more first time starters. Rule 2. Pick the best race from the past two races for each horse that qualified for rule 1. This is the race that you will figure the Stretch Speed number from. This race should have been at the same distance as todays race, a Sprint to Sprint, Route to Route comparison and it should have been on a fast track only. (Sloppy, muddy tracks should not be played as the out come of these races are too unpredictable) Rule 3. To figure the stretch speed. Take the final time of the best race from the last two and write it down. Example the final time is 1.13and 2/5. Take the second call time and subtract it from the final time. Example second call time is .47 and 1/5, take the final time of 1.13&2/5, and convert it to seconds (60 +13&2/5 =73&2/5). You are converting the time listed in minutes to seconds for the purpose of finding the Stretch Run time. You take 73&2/5 subtract 47&1/ 5 from that and you get 26&1/5 which is the time for the lead horse in that race during the stretch run. Now you must adjust the 26&1/5 number by the number of lengths that this particular horse was behind at the second call and then at the wire. Example if he was behind 4 lengths at the second call and finished 4 lengths behind, then he ran the same time as the winner he was just

6

behind the whole way so his number would be 26&1/5. If he was behind 7 lengths at the second call and closed to be beaten only 2 lengths then he ran faster then the lead horse in the stretch so you would take the 5 lengths he made up, convert that to seconds (1 length equals 1/5 of a second) so 5 lengths is a full second faster then the lead horse and his number would be 25&1/5. If he had lost ground during the stretch run then you add the number of lengths lost to the Stretch Speed number to come up with the final number for this horse. Example his lengths behind at the second call was 7 and at the wire he was beaten by 10 lengths which means he lost ground by 3 lengths or 3 /5 of a second which would make his number 26&1/5 plus the 3 /5 or 3 lengths he lost making his number 26&4/5. Rule 4. After figuring the Stretch Speed number for each qualifying horse, then you would bet the horse with the lowest number. You may have a list of horses as follows: Horse number 1 =26.4, number 6 =26.1, and number 9 = 25.4. Number 9 is your bet for a win, however take these three horses with the best numbers and they will most likely run in that same order for exacta and trifecta plays. My Dad and I usually take three horses with the best number and box them in an exacta. It is unbelievable how many exactas that this system hits. I saw Him hit one at Aqueduct recently that paid $326. Per $2 bet, he had it 10 times for cash out of $3,260.00... We use this System to pick winners every day so I know for a fact it works. You can start cashing tickets today using this system. The Reason it works is that it picks horses in form right know as most horses are Raced into peak form and cannot reach peak from off of

7

works and training alone. This system has picked the last 3 Kentucky Derby winners. It works because of a training technique which you would work two horses at a time and in the stretch you would encourage the horse in training to pass or to catch up and go by the lead horse down the stretch. Sometimes the rider would have to pull up on the lead horse to let the training horse pass, but after a few times he would start doing it on his own and then on Race Day he would blow by them in the stretch time after time. This System finds the horse that likes to do his best running in the home stretch. Since the OTBs and then the advent of internet betting we are finding that the exacta & trifecta bets are the best plays for this system because of the lowered win odds on the favorites. Yesterday at Aqueduct this System gave me an exacta where the favorite won but it still paid $149. And I had it 10 times. This System works on all surfaces = Turf, polytrack and Dirt. Example to figure Stretch Speed for a route race. 1. Second call 1.13 and finish 1.39 so 1.39 minus 1.13=26 2. Second call 1.12&4/5 and finish 1.45&2/5 = 32&3/5 3. Second call 1.13&1/5 and finish 1.54 = 40&4/5 Always adjust the number by either the gained or lost lengths. Each length equals 1/5 second. Enjoy This Race day!

$888.Horse Racing System The System Im about to show you is the combination of factors used in handicapping and an updated version of the Tote Board System. This system has been tested with amazing results. This System is used primarily for Superfecta bets, but it can be used for trifecta bets as well. With this System we are leaving all the handicapping to the expert, the Track Handicapper . We will trust the Trainer to have the Horse ready to run and in the right conditions, class and distance. We will also trust the jockey to give his best ride. We simply have to apply the rules and make the bets. The first race that Dad tested it in, earned $888. And thats how it was named, but since then, thats a small win compared to the recent wins of 15k and 10k. It has been tested or races where it had strikes of 28k, 50k. And $489K, yeah thats right near a half million! You dont know The Thrill of Racing until youve cashed one of these big tickets. Half A Million! I have attached that race, and explained how the system picked it, maybe those conditions will repeat and you will win the Big One! Next time.

9

Rule 1. From the Track Program or DRF take a look at the morning line odds for all horses. Do not eliminate any at this point because even the 30 to 1 shot can run 4th or better. Races with 8 or 9 horses have tested with the best Strike Rate and have good payouts. If the race has 3 or more horses with 3 to 1 odds or less I like to pass on those races and not bet, they tend to pay small. You will win these races, but still lose, because they dont pay back the investment. Races with more than 8 Horses, try to eliminate the 9,10,11,12 etc. and reduce the race to 8 horses. Horses coming around from the outside may run wide and lose ground, so if they are 6 to1 or more in the M/L and stay even at Post Time, then eliminate them first. Races with 10 or more often pay the big superfectas. Rule 2. While waiting for the odds to change, circle all the Horses that have an Owner - Trainer Combination. The horse may be listed in the relatives name as well, If its the same as the trainers, then it qualifies. A Trainer that trains exclusively for one Farm or one owner qualifies as well. I cannot stress this point enough, the importance to use these horses in your bets, you can use them no matter what the odds are. A trainer which trains for the general public is put under pressure to race the horse before hes ready to give his best effort. The owner will be pushing the trainer to race and win to help pay the training bills at $50 to $150. Per day. An owner trained horse, will most of the time be shipped to the track the day of the race from a training facility or farm and will not get the exposure that a horse stabled at the Track gets. I know a lot of these guys who have 1 or 2 horses and sometimes they are the only ones to bet on the horse. A Track Handicapper will not know enough about these horses to properly place correct M/L odds on causing a flaw in the M/L for

10

these horses, any horse that can hit the board should have a M/L of 6 to 1, yet these go off at 20 to 1 plus. They go unnoticed by the public because the M/L is set wrong, to start with. The Owner Trained Horse will let the trainer know when hes ready to put forth his best effort. He will clean up his feed, take hold of the bit and try to run off with the exercise rider, he will be squealing, kicking the stall and pulling hard and working in 12s ( like 3f=36, 4f=48 etc.). A owner-trainer will not ship this horse to the races for the exercise, he will do it only when he expects to win. There is a lot of work involved to get a horse to the Track on Race Day. There may be only 3 or 4 people who may know to bet this horse making it a long shot. Ive had several public Trainers in the past and the average size stable will have 50 or more people (employees) that will be betting and touting the horse to many others, therefore bringing the odds down. I could never get big odds on my Horses that were trained by a public trainer. I would be in line to bet and hear people around me touting my own horse to other strangers. Im just telling you to watch for these horses because they usually hit in the superfectas. If the Race has more than two Horses with Owner-Trainer combination, all long shots, then beware, you have a choice to use the one with lowest odds or the highest. Try to use them all. If they are listed as first time Lasix, then include them, regardless of what the odds are. This will be listed in the program as (L1.) Sometimes a horse will bleed and stop running in a previous race, so the Trainer will get the horse approved by the Track Vet to use Lasix, it stops the bleeding and the horse makes a major improvement in the next race. (This happens often, so watch for it; look at the $489k super at Turfway) Ive seen races at Mountaineer where 9 out of 10 horses are owner trained. I Bet a race at Delta Downs where I eliminated the wrong

11

Horse and a 95 to 1 wins and the Superfecta paid $131,000. WOW! One that got away! Rule 3. At about 5 minutes to post time, less if possible, write down, next to the morning line, the post time odds. This is where you will make your eliminations. You can do this over the phone (I do it everyday) I will call at five minutes before post time and get the odds. Id rather be, at the Track or watching it on TV though. Rule 4. Start Eliminating Horses, do it by the odds gain. Start with the highest M/L odds and work your way down until you have 5 or 6 horses left. Example; Horses Morning line odds Post time odds 1. 8 10 2. 3 2 3. 6 5 4. Owner 20 30 Trainer 5. 15 30 6. 5 11 7. 10 18 8. 2 5/2 First eliminate #5 then #7. Leaving you with 6 horses to box in the superfecta. You say why not the 4 instead of the 7 as it has higher odds. Its because of the owner- trainer combination that you leave this horse in, no matter the jump up it the Odds. Rule 5. Do not eliminate any M/L Horse 7/2 to 1 or less, no matter if it goes up at post time. Horses with an M/L of 6 to 1 or more have about the same chance as a 30 to 1 of hitting the board. The object

12

would be to make your eliminations from the horses 6 to 1 or higher in the M/L odds, especially if they go up by post time. If they go down by post time, then you will have to try and use them by eliminating other horses that go up in odds. Example: Horse Morning line odds Post time odds 1. 30 15 (went down - Keep) 2. 8 16 (went up the most-Delete) 3. 4 15 (4to1 rule- keep) 4. 15 15 (stayed the same -Keep) 5. 20 24 (owner-trainer combo-Keep, if you possibly can) 6. 3 5 (7/2 rule) 7. 2 7/2 (7/2 to1 rule) 8. 8 10 (up Delete) Here you eliminate #2 and #8 Rule 6. Box either 5 or 6 horses no part wheels. By using 6 horse box we increased the win percentage to 80% from 30% when using a 5 horse box. I usually bet a $1 box and get half the $2. Pay out. Today in the third race at Tampa Bay (my first bet today) I bet a $1. Box with 6 horses totaling $360. IT hit and I cashed a $4,800. Ticket. Ill show you that race and more in the notes and results section at the end of this book. Then I dont bet any more races today as I just tested the System at other races after that. Some days I will bet 4 to 5 races and I will lose a little or break even on 4 races

13

and then hit big on the 5th, If you look at past results there is always a big pay out before the day is over Im just hoping its early, like in your first bet. There are many Tracks that you can bet .10 superfectas, so you can bet as little as $36. for a 6 horse box. I have seen them pay with this System $1500. from a $36. bet, while testing the System I saw it happen two times in one day, at the same Track. Rule 7. Play this System on Tracks that have been running at least two weeks for best results. Shippers and horses coming in after layoffs arrive in the first week and are less predictable. You should also test it on past results and live races a few days before betting. This System works because you are using the 5 or 6 best horses as defined in the M/L odds by the Expert Track Handicapper. The final picks are determined by the owners, trainers, jockeys and how confident they are in betting their horse as it shows in the post time odds. The Trainer-Owner angle has quietly produced the biggest pay outs because they are winning with the long shots. The Track Handicapper usually does not know the Horse or the trainer, they dont have a big stable of people that are touting the horse and the owner is not betting enough to drive the odds down, you must include them in your plays. I told you about a Superfecta that paid $131k, it had two of these Owner - Trainer Combos, both hit the board, a 95to1 shot won! At Delta Downs just this last week. The $489k super at Turfway had several owner-trainer combos and 2 were first time Lasix, both hit the board. (This race is included in the examples.)

14

Thats it, in simple terms of how we make a living at the track. I have always heard of people who make money at the Track, but I didnt know them personally until now and now I know several. You may be next! Good Luck! Charley I use this money management system: I have a win goal of $1000. A day and when I hit that I stop betting for the day. Example; I bet one Track a day and lately it been Fairgrounds. Friday I bet the first race and it hit and paid $3500. I got $1750 for my $360. Investment. Monday, I bet Tampa Bay, starting with the 3rd (the 1st super) the System missed this one and I lost $360. (It paid 21k). The 4th and 5th I won, but they were chalky and I ended up with about $100. Profit on those two, so now Ive bet 3 races and won 2 out of three and Im down $260. The 6th no super, I passed that race and played the 7th and it hit for $5818. I got $2900. For my $360. Investment and made a profit of $2280. For the day. Thats how I do it!

Final Notes: I have tried to make as part of this Book original copies of the TVG receipt and Programs, but the Adobe Reader would not convert them. If you want to see them, then e-mail me and I can send them. If you will notice, I have enclosed copies of actual races won using this System. I have included the larger ones, accumulated over a period of a couple days, however most of the tickets we cash are in the $2,000 to $3,000 range. I will list our latest big winners on the website http:///www.Barbarowin.com You can contact us at [email protected] PS. Please dont ask for a refund as this is an e-book and you have already downloaded it and it cant be physically returned and I have no way to determine whether your still using it or if its been copied. Its a small investment on your part for a potential big return. I pay more than this to enter a poker tournament a couple of days a week. If you can prove to me that it doesnt work , then Ill give you double your money back, but I know that wont happen, because I can show you a big pay out that these Systems hit everyday. Ill give you all the support and help that you require, just email me at the address above. Lol..Charley Look at the wager summary from TVG where I bet 7 supers at Sam Houston and won 6. Started with $36. And cashed $554. Look at the race at Turfway where a $36. Bet would have returned $48k. Yes almost $50,000.00 from $36.00 bet! Dont you just love it!

The $888Horse Racing System in a nutshell: Keep all 4-1 and less, keep all droppers. To fill your 6 box, then add O/Ts, if you have more room, then add L1s, if you still have room then add the Stay Evens and finally if you still have room in your 6 box then add those that went up the least. ----- Original Message ----- From: Fastpitstops To: [email protected] Just looked over your systems and the rules. I have used Owner Trainer myself for long long time. Also Owner Breeder. Havent checked if for a long time...As for the tote board : Watching and waiting is a tough proposition :) With all of the offshore money and vegas money coming into the pools ..I dont know how good the Tote methods will work. Many times ..the odds will change dramatically AFTER the horses leave the gate...on the last few clicks. That's because of all of the pool money hitting the tote at the same time. And the computers dont seem to be able to process the info fast enough. As for stretch runs ...we shall see.... the idea of playing the best " closers " has been around for a long long time. I will tell you how I handle that sometime. I have other quesitons ..but will save em for later....OH ..one thing .... " Owner Trainer " angle ::: have you found any tracks that are better than others ? Of course we cant follow them all :) And I like Maidens or younger horses for this angle ...More later ...Earl

----- Original Message ----- From: Charley To: Fastpitstops Thanks, I've finally heard from an intelligent horse player, I came up with the O/T angle, because I was one, I thought it was an original idea, but I'm glad you're working it to, because it's about the only way you get an Overlay. Stretch System, While owning and Claiming Horses in the past we would look to claim and resale those which would be able to put in the Fastest Final 1/4 mile Time, They are not always closers, but it does work, it picked the Derby, Preakness, days before the race. I have used it successfully for 35 years I have been watching the Tote Board on TV and the internet Odds Ticker at the same time and it is a few seconds behind and they do sometimes change after the race is gone, but we're using it to catch the "Connection Money" and that goes in usually at the Track and within the last 5 min, I used to place bets on my Horses at 3 min before post and there, they are posted instantly. Your also right about a lot of O/T horses being Maidens, that's because most horses don't ever break their maiden, I prefer races with fewer then two of these Horses, I have seen races at Mountianeer with 9 of 10 being O/T and they are all going for that Money. LOL Charley ----- Original Message ----- From: HogannWo99 To: [email protected] Subject: Re: $888 System What is your favorite tracks to do this on?

From: Charley To: HogannWo99 Subject: Re: $888 System I'm still looking for that, but in Betting and testing it does great on certain Tracks on different days. Like a couple of days ago it hit every race at Indiana Downs, Delaware, Arlington ,Belmont but was 50% at Churchill, Evangeline, Charlestown. You still have to bet on the right Track, the right day, the right race. When I bet seriously ,I pick a Track and bet every super.so I get the highs with the lows. I saw a $36. super pay $4500. last night, the System had it and most of the others on the whole card. At Indiana Downs on Staurday, the System had the only Ticket of the Super, it would have been worth maybe $50,000. so if you would have been playing every race, then you would have had it. LOL Charley
