Our standards lead the wayLeading in developmentAt Wanzl, quality is a precisely defined process thatbegins with the initial rendering in the design department.State-of-the-art 3D CAD systems and FEM simulationsoftware define the production parameters for compo-nents and assemblies accurate to a thousandth of amillimetre.

Guaranteed safetyCountless endurance tests are carried out in in-houselaboratories on every Wanzl product before it is deliveredto customers. Test criteria include load capacity, longservice life, strength and other factors. The result isproducts with highest quality standards, well exceedingrequirements.

Best material qualityOnly the best quality manufacturers are chosen to supplyan annual quantity of 30,000 tonnes of steel wire andmore than 15,000 tonnes of tubular stock, because onlythese materials comply with the requirements for surfacequality, strength, weldability and bending properties.

High degree of automationCNC technology and robot systems as well as semi- andfully-automatic production cells and lines characterise thehighly precise processes in all facilities. Many productionsystems have been developed on the basis of uniquespecialist know-how in wire and tube processing. Thisguarantees a constant and high quality standard.

Surface finishingIron and steel components need special attention. AtWanzl, one of Germany’s top ten electroplating compa-nies, these components are in the best possible hands.In a fully automatic process, each individual part is high-gloss zinc plated and chromated - and this is done to sucha high standard that Wanzl products already received theGerman “seal of approval for electroplating” in 1982.
