section 1. 341.115 New Law passed. by state legislators in 1982

My cootest, match or exhibition in which cash prizes of $5 or nore or other

prizes worth $100 or nore are offered to any OOxer shall carply with all rules of

the l:x:>ard of l:oxing governing professional l::oxing. For purposes of

this section, tropuies, travel expenses and subsistence expenses shall not be

censidered prizes. No ooxer participating in these contests, matches, or exhibitions shall engage in consecutive contests with less than a seven day

interval. No 1x>xer shall participate in these contests, matches, or sxhibitions

unless the ~er has sul::mi.tted an affidavit of physical fitness to the. roard

and has been examined by a physician designated by the 1x:>ard. The affidavit

shall state: (a) that the ooxer ha;s previously participated in ten amateur or

professional matches sa'1ctioned by the 1:oard of ooxing or sanctioned by a toard

which regulates ooxing in another jurisdiction; or (b) that the ooxer has regular ly trained for at least 90 day~ under the supervision of a second

licensed by the toard of ooxing, or a second or trainer or the equivalent licensed

in another jurisdiction. The examination shall include, tut not be li.mi.ted i:'.Q, an

electroencephalogram, unless the ooxer has sul:mi.tted to the examining physician . (a) the results of an electroencephalogram administered within one year-ot the

contest, match or exhibition; and (b) an affidavit stating that the roxer has not

l:een knocked unconscious in ooxing corrpetion since the last electroencephalogram

was administered. The examination shall 1:e perforrre:l at the expense of the

prcm::>ter.
