[email protected] when submitting a violation through the 311 system.

The guideline will be posted on the website (www.waverlyterrace.org) for easy

reference.

i. Bill Gaddy recommended contacting the Ledger-Inquirer to report house

issues to be published in the newspaper. They have posted stories in the

past and this help get violations resolved.

ii. Libby can provide the names of most house owners in our neighborhood

where violations exist. Email [email protected] for information.

V. New Business

a. Bert suggests adding solar powered lights to the entrance signs. He thinks it will

be about $60 per sign. He will get more information and report back at next

meeting. Jon suggested adding a clear coat to protect the wood and paint.

b. A small group met with Justin Krieg, Historic Columbus, regarding what the

association can do to move forward with neighborhood improvements. Historic

Columbus is repairing the front porch on the burn house at about $25K

additional cost. We also discussed parking issues for the school and how to

report code violations to the city.

c. Michelle, WT Apt, said she will allow school students to park on the north side of

the apartment’s parking lot. Thanks Michelle!

d. Jon Magee, Mike Forte, Michelle Zack are gathering information about the

congested street traffic at the school. There is an empty lot next to the school

that may be available for purchase. This could be used as a parking lot. Jon will

use a drone to take video of the congestion that can be shared with School

Board showing the problem and may eventually share it with City Council.

e. Jon & Magee invited the association to their ice cream social. Jon will send Mike

an invitation to post on the website. There will be ice cream and singing and

fellowship.

f. Peri brought up possibly having meetings every other month. Discussion was

held to have more activities at each meeting, getting to know your neighbor by

seeing them on a regular basis.
