Ready Access ClosuresEasily re-accessible and weather resistant for plastic insulated cable splices, terminations, service drops and loading coils. The closuers mount on the cable messenger strand. Each accom-modates up to four 6-pair (145 Type) terminal blocks, has inner shield bond and ground continuity system, and has numbered drop wire entrances on bottom.

Re-Enterable Dome Closure KitWith pull and shrink tubing (PST) for fast, rugged splice protection with easy reentry.

An economical method of protecting butt splices for pedestal, hand hole or pole mount applications. From 3M.

The splice is enclosed in a split polypropylene dome clamped together with a steel latch and sealed with an O-ring. An expanded ethylene propylene rubber tube (PST) is slipped over the base of the enclosure and onto a gel sealing

collar. Pulling a plastic rip cord on the PST allows it to shrink the minimum outside diameter necessary to form a tight seal. The flexible tubing conforms to the shape of the collar, sealing out both air and water.

Buried Service Wire Splice Kits3832 is a small kit for inline and butt splicing up to 5 pair buried service wires. Semi-hardening 4403-B epoxy filling compound remains semi-flexible and is included in kit. After the compound has been poured, the outer tube is rotated over the barrel opening to seal the closure. SLIC-5 kit is a rigid body closure for encapsulation of up to 5 pair buried service wire butt splices.
