Median: is the “middle” of a sorted list of numbers.

The median is also the number that is halfway into the set. To find the median, the data should first be arranged in order from least to greatest. To remember the definition of a median, just think of the median of a road, which is the middlemost part of the road.

Graphing your results

• Your graph will be a line graph.

• Each color/amount of the M & M’s should be in color.

• You can put the total of all M & M’s at the beginning or end of your line graph.

• ON the back of your line graph, you will make the pie graph showing the % of the whole number of M & M’s. Color each pie section and list the percentage of the M & M’s inside the piece of the pie.

• Hand in when you are done.
