Patented, unique NANOmel® Technology –

Quartz Coating for Hygienic Metal Applications

What it is…– High volume – low cost– Thin, dense, flexible and strong– Fused quartz coating– Patented (process & application areas)

What it does…– Chemical inert surface– Protects against corrosion and chemical reactions– Excellent polishing effect– High durability

What it gives…– Product lifetime +20% – Savings on materials +20%– Organic coating buildup/fouling -50%

Idea: Coating of metallic surfaces with silica-glass for corrosion

protection

SiO2 offers excellent chemical stability in both acidic and alkaline

environments

New experimental processes outperform previous results Applicable to a variety of Al alloys

The yellow tone is an artifact from the chromium oxide formed during the curing process. The red/green colour nuances is an optical phenomenon rising from variations in coating thickness

On Aluminium there are no colour toning of the coating.Due to the more rough substrate surface, the read/green nuances is not seen because of the scattering of the incident light.
