Don’t Keep It A Secret August 14, 2011

But we impart a secret and hidden wisdom of God, which God decreed before the ages for our glory. None of the rulers of this age understood this, for if they had, they would not have

Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name. Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For Thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever. Amen.

“Don’t Keep It A Secret” 1 Corinthians 2:6-9 (pg NT153) Offering (We give our gifts to God)

So in Christ we who are many form one body, and each member belongs to all the others. We have different gifts, according to the

grace given us. If a man’s gift is prophesying, let him use it in proportion to his faith. If it is serving, let him serve; if it is teach-ing, let him teach; if it is encouraging, let him encourage; if it is contributing to the needs of others, let him give generously; if it is leadership, let him govern diligently, if it is showing mercy, let

him do it cheerfully.—Romans 12:5-8 NIV

*Doxology ‘Praise God, from whom all blessings flow;

praise Him, all creatures here below; praise him above ye heavenly host;

praise Father, Son and Holy Ghost. Amen.” *Closing Hymn 389 “Freely, Freely” Benediction Postlude The Acolyte will take the light of Christ into the world * please stand if it is comfortable for you to do so
