MEETING OBJECTIVES• Education on the state-of-art treatment options for Hepatitis B,
C, HIV and HIV co-infections
• Presentation of the latest research data, especially in the Asian context
• Translation of knowledge into clinical practice
• Providing a platform for interaction and dialogue
• Stimulating discussion among different disciplines
• Building collaborations among local, regional and national communities
INTRODUCTIONOver the years, treating viral diseases has become more and more complex. Given the increase in therapeutic options in Asia, clinicians and researchers will clearly benefit from the opportunity to be informed and to discuss the newest data and their implications for clinical practice.
This meeting aims at bridging the gap between the knowledge that is shared among experts in the field and the knowledge of researchers and clinicians in daily practice. Furthermore, this meeting provides a much-needed platform for researchers and clinicians involved in daily clinical management of HBV, HCV and HIV-infected patients. We believe this meeting will create a good opportunity for regional clinicians, researchers and pharmaceutical companies to meet each other and share knowledge.
UNIQUE FEATURES• A program particularly focusing on the
context of Asia.
• A unique event for researchers and clinicians involved in the field of hepatology and HIV treatment.
• A great opportunity to exchange information with international and regional leading scientists in the area.
WHY SHOULD YOU ATTEND? After participating in this meeting, the participants will:
• Have a thorough knowledge of the most recent results in drug development (including most recent clinical trials results) for HBV, HCV, and HIV.
• Be able to integrate the latest scientific results into daily clinical care to improve the treatment quality of HBV, HCV and HIV infected individuals.
