7th Annual Pediatric Neurology Update Seminar

Seminar Overview

The 7th Annual Pediatric Neurology Update Seminar will offer participants a current

and comprehensive evidence-based approach to contemporary medical problems

faced by health care providers caring for children. The major focus of this year’s

seminar is newborn neurology and movement disorders in children, two areas that

remain significant contributors to morbidity in our population. The field of neonatal

brain monitoring is still in the developmental and research stage and this seminar

will disseminate information about this very important and exciting new direction for

neonatology. We will also focus on recent advances in the evaluation and emerging

therapeutic modalities in the management of two common pediatric neurological

problems: chronic daily headaches and spasticity in children.

The seminar features an outstanding panel of speakers who will offer participants

a state-of-the-art perspective in scientific inquiry and clinical practice relevant to the

evaluation and management of common pediatric neurological problems.

We once again look forward to having you take part in what promises to be an

exciting and dynamic conversation.

Manikum Moodley, MD, FRCP Neil Friedman, MBChB
