There is ALWAYS time before school if you need a quick conference or a minute of my time. I am usually here by 7:30-7:45 or after school from 3:30-4:00pm

I want your child to ENJOY reading and writing even if it isn’t his/her strength.

Turnitin.com is an online resource that helps students and teachers with plagiarism.

Turnitin.com also offers other tools such as peer editing and online rubrics.

Assignments/Essays that are assigned on the computer will be submitted to Turnitin.com.

Students will be working with this online tool in the classroom. Many students will have an account from 6th grade if they were at student at AMS.

Students will have vocabulary test every Friday Please let your child use the computer for school uses.

There are many assignments that your student would greatly benefit with the use of a computer

Your child’s attendance is extremely important Your child will keep track of all of their assessments

throughout the year. Including writing assignments, reading quizzes, vocabulary quizzes, and grammar tests.

Learning lab is available for students who need extra time to complete their assignments. It is offered EVERY morning at 7:30am
