Failure, pus extending along fascial planes—Nec Fasc.So amputated w/ guillotine at greater trochanter—ultimately ending in hip disarticulationAlso received trach, decompressive gastrostomy, PEJ, sigmoid colostomy, gluteal muscle flaps21 operations, 68 days in ICU and 34 days on the floor. She had to spend the rest of her life in a Nursing home.

Prior to hospitaliztion she was independent and able to walk up a flight of stairs.
