Danielle’s ManifestoFree Legal Advice CentreWe are the only university in Ireland that does not provide its students with a Free Legal Ad-vice Centre on campus. This would run as a weekly drop-in clinic and a fortnightly appoint-ment-only clinic, and be run by the Welfare Office and local solicitors on a voluntary basis.

Student SafetyIn light of recent events I believe that student safety should be at the fore of the Welfare Office’s concerns:• FreeSelf-DefenceClasses• PersonalSafetyWorkshops• IncreasedtalksanddemosonRoadSafety,WaterSafetyandAlcoholSafety• StartULtalkingaboutsexualassault/violence,domesticviolenceandunhealthyrela-tionships• Createanon-campusclinicregardingtheabove“asafeplacetotalk”• PromoteandimproveSafeCabs
