Related to our Collaboration, Communication and Dialogue for 21st Century Democracy theme, our pro-gram team is looking for presenters on topics that include facilitation, effective communication, volunteer management, active listening skills, managing tough conversations and conflict, diversity and inclusion, democratic theory and practice, and leadership topics.

An open forum is an opportunity for a more free-form discussion with a larger group of people centered on a particular topic(s). A roundtable has a facilitator (and, in some cases, a presenter) but is primarily a participatory session where attendees are given ample opportunities to contribute. The topic is usually specific and the group size is smaller than a forum.
